Thank you Irish!! Don't you dare give up hope. I honestly think it's to early to pee on a stick babe. I'm 10dpt and I'm going to pee on a stick just to see it say pregnant for once LOL! BUT I don't think it'll show yet

JustJenis--Congratulations... That's awesome.

Unfortunately for me I should have stuck w/ my gut reaction know how my af cramps are. I got a bfn  . I decided to call my machine from work and was able to contain the bad news. This one especially the most difficult to swallow b/c it's the last one. My insurance only covers 6, and I can't afford to do self pay and i would have to find a different clinic willing to take the risk on a 41 year old.

Anyway, best of luck to the rest of you getting ready to test. I do wish the best for the you. And for those who already got a bfp--good luck w/ your pregnancy.

P.S. - ICCIN - Thanks for your support! it's so much easier for me to see thru the clouds and be optimistic for others...I left work at Noon and had a decent cry fest for myself all afternoon! I hate my nurse so I almost want to play hookie on my blood test...yes, I have issues w/ authority/and her controlling my life for the last 6 weeks!! I'll go b/c DH asked me to...

IrishHope--I really hope that you don't get a bfn. Hopefully, for you your signs will be a bfp. Even though I know what my af cramps feel like, I didn't give up until I got the official word. Maybe you'll be surprised. It's not over until the fat lady sings.

Good luck to you tomorrow!!!

kbat...I'm sorry to hear the news. You really are a very strong woman for everything you have gone through. I know how you feel...I've been through it multiple times too and felt like it was the end of the road but you definitely inspire me with your attitude. I wish you the best and will miss you.

Please be good to yourself and get that takeout!

IrishHope...pls don"t give up...you're so close!

I got take out on the way home. It was very difficult not to cry during work. i don't know why I am doing this to myself. I hate my nurse as well, but I guess the only good thing about the whole thing I don't have to deal w/ her anymore. i was stressed out just from dealing w/ her--I could deal w/ the meds. etc. My nurse told me to call to make a follow up so when I called I asked if there was a reason for that b/c I am not doing anymore--so it's not like I need a new procedure. The receptionist put me on hold and went to ask my nurse who told her to tell me that it's not necessary unless I want the details of why it didn't work. Just seemed like a waste of my time for that so I said forget about it. I don't really need to know why it didn't work. All my nurse said was that it was negative and to stop taking my meds.

I've basically been having a cry fest all afternoon myself--so don't feel so bad.

Still hoping that you get a good result tomorrow.

I HATE YOUR NURSE TOO!!! God what is wrong w/ these nurses? Ok there are plenty ofjobs you can "lose" the fire for but not this one - go out to pasture you friggin' biddies!

kbat -about the financing - I am not sure but you could call your clinic (somoene else but your nurse) and see if they can point you in the direction of a business - I have to imagine there are...I know there are programs out there like RSC that have so much money back if it's unsuccessful - so you "buy a package" i hate to sound like it's a car but we looked into it - you choose a package of "tries" for x amount and get so much back if you are not successful....have you heard of RSC? A good firend of mine used them (she is 43 and did donor) and had good things to say about them...just a thought - let yourself have time to rebound from this....

P.S. - kbat - i know you dont' want to do donor so plesae don't think my telling you my friend did was what I meant - just saying she used RSC is all...

IrishHope - Don't give up yet, wait for the blood test tomorrow! Does DH know about the HPT? Maybe you could ask the nurse to call DH with results if that helps. I am planning to do that, don't want to start craying at work!!! I am not POAS'ing.. so will know my results only on moday afternoon! I sure hope you get a BFP tomorrow.

Kbat, I am so sorry. My heat aches for you:< I won't give you any pithy advice, of which I am sure you are sick. Your heart will heal. You will find a way to creat your family. Etc.
