Hello.

Congratulations Sushan!!!! That is brilliant news for all of us.
You know you are second person that i know that this happen.
I remember a lady in june/july thread that was waiting for AF which was late. She was getting upset because she wanted to do her next cycle and found out she had already a BFP!!!

Welcome to all new members. The doors are always open for new comers and we all wish you a very good luck and positive cycle.

I can see that this thread is very active.
It's hard for me to keep a track of everybody. but that's me,dumb :S

My transfer has been delayed due to late ovulation.
I had my scan yesterday and everything was good. I should ovulate tomorrow and so the transfer will be on thursday March/13.

Rhall: wow 2 embies transfered! That's great. Now take it easy and take few days off to rest so they can implant well. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.BFP all the way YIPIIIIIII!!!

dR.JEN: im so sorry about your mum. I hope she gets well soon. my prayers goes for her.

the rest of us: i can see next week will be very busy with loads happening.
fingers crossed for everyone.

Anie :)

Thank you thank you everyone for your warm wishes!

It's now official, my beta on Wednesday was 162 and today it was 342 - so it doubled and they say I'm actually a 'natural' pregnancy.

My first scan is Monday the 24th - so I'm continuing to keep positive thoughts for a good first scan.....

I really hope this is the start of lots of lucky baby dust on this thread, ladies! I'm going to continue to lurk here from time to time to cheer all of you on! I can't wait to see lots of BFPs very soon!

Good luck to everyone current starting their stims and warm, peaceful sticky vibes to all those starting their 2ww!!!!

Cycle buddies in March/April anyone?

Post by angram »

Hi everyone. I'm new to the board, although I've been reading for the past month. This is my 1st IVF cycle (9 previous IUI's) and so far things are not going to plan. I started BCP's on 2/9, Lupron on 2/23 and we were hoping to start Gonal F on 3/5. Well we found a cyst on 2/21, which has since started shrinking, but my estrogen was still too high on 3/5 and they cannot start the meds. I'm now on my 9th day post last BCP and no AF, so this is extremely frustrating. We're hoping the cyst will go away completely and AF will arrive shortly, so we can then start stimming! Thought I'd finally join the board in hopes that our time is coming soon. Good luck to everyone and I look forward to "cycling" with you all :D

Hi girls--

I need some advice. I went in for u/s and b/w this morning and none of my follicles are measuring above 10mm. Is that bad? I think it might be (after 5 nights of stimming). I figured you girls would know since you all have been through this. They counted 16 on the right and 17 on the left. But...they were all less than 10mm.

I get the call this afternoon about my E2 level, but I thought I'd see what you girls thought?

Suzhan: I'm so happy for you!! What a wonderful surprise! Please do drop in from time to time and let us know how you're doing!

Neffi: Sounds like you're doing really well on the meds! That's great! I go back Monday morning too. Here's hoping we both get good news then!

Anie: Wow, only 5 days until the big day!! I can't wait to hear how it all goes!

DrJen: Here's hoping that AF will cooperate and come soon! Has you mother responded well to her treatments? I really hope that they have reduced her pain. I really feel for you and hope everything works out. It's sounds like both you and your mom are really strong and brave women.

How's everyone else? Anything new?

rlk - Did they say what size the 'lead' or largest follie was? Less than 10 mm at only 5 days stimming isn't necessarily a bad thing - they usually trigger around 18-20 mm or so and I think most people will stim for at least 9-10 days, so you're only 1/2 way there....plus, there's another 36 hours after the trigger.

BTW, 33 follies sounds great! Wowee! Good luck!

Hey ladies!

Ang-- WELCOME!!!!!! 9 IUI's! Wow I bet your ready to get started!!!! Well we a pleased that you chose to join us! I hope AF comes soon! Im doing to Af dance for you!

Anie-- not too much longer for you! Are you getting excited?

Rlk1-- I dont think that my follies were over 10mm after 5 days. You probably still have at least 5 days left to stim! I wouldnt worry. That is a crap load of follies! I only had 16 last cycle. 14 eggs reteived! I hope you get alot of eggs out of those follies! Im waiting to hear your E2 level.

As for me....Stimming away! Bw and u/s monday morning! Im hoping that ER is sat oppsoed to friday..that way DH and I dont have to take off work.

Hi all--

Suzhan and Neffi: Thanks for your replies, it really helps. So...the weekend nurse called and said my E2 was 193 and told me to keep the meds the same until my appointment on Monday. I asked her if the fact that my follicles were so small (my "lead" follicle is only 8.6mm) was a problem and she said they usually like to see some past 10mm on day6.

But...she said they have to be careful with me because of my high risk of hyperstimulating---that maybe it will just take me a couple days longer since I'm on such a low dose. She said, "it's too early to tell if this is a good or bad cycle". Yikes.

I'm trying to keep my chin up--this whole IVF ordeal is such an emotional rollercoaster!

Hope your weekend is going better than mine!! Anyone have anything fun planned?

Hi!

Post by DrJen »

Glad to hear everyone is moving forward. Thank you for the thoughts and prayers for my mom. She had her first IVIG tx Thursday and goes back this Monday for another. We hope and pray this works. As for me, AF finally came with horrible pain early Saturday morning. I spent yesterday in bed with severe cramps (I have endo). I will call my nurse Monday to tell her it finally came so we can start the count down to the Lupron.

To answer a question of one of the lady's, I am a dentist in a rural community. It is difficult to take off work, but I have decided this is the most important thing in my life right now. It certainly helps to have all of you to talk to!

Dr Jen-- I was the one that asked about your career...thats so funny, I am a dental hygienist! I really hope that tx works for your mom! I also understand the difficulty leaving work! I feel like I am always leaving pts and Im sure its worse for you! Do you in a single dentist practice? Luckily I work for Lancaster pediatric Dental Assoc. There are three dentists and three hyg. So sometimes they can move my pts around...but since we a peds, when I leave for 90 mins...thats at least 3 pts...and my RE is 40 mins from home. Anyway....Waiting for AF stinks! I will do the AF dance for you :D :D

Happy Sunday everyone!

Dawn: Nice, nice. A vacation sounds wonderful. Where are you going (so I can live vicariously through you!)?

DrJen: Glad to hear AF arrived!! You're now that much closer to a BFP!!

Nicaliw: I agree with DrJen--it is so nice to have all of these awesome "March/April thread" women to talk to!!! Thanks for starting this thread! Any updates on you?

Esperanza: Where are you, girl?!? I imagine you're knee-deep in textbooks. I have a big final on Friday (45% of my grade)--as if I wasn't stressed enough about my cycle!! Whine, whine, whine---my specialty!!

Angram: I hope AF arrives shortly for you!! Did they say how long they expect it to take for the cyst to go away?

Suzhan: How are you feeling? Any early pregnancy symptoms? Does this pregnancy feel the same to you as your previous pregnancy? Just curious because if it feels different, maybe that means you're having the opposite sex!

Neffi: You're a God-send. Thanks for your positive attitude about my cycle! So...my measurements were after 5 nights of stimming, but were on the morning of day 6. So..technically I was day 6. I'm only on 37 units of follistim and 37 units of menopur (plus 10 units of Lupron). It's a ridiculously low dose!! I guess that's why my little follicles don't want to grow.

I hope you all are having a good day! I'm looking forward to hearing how everyone is!
