Cycle buddies in March/April anyone?

Okay girls have have more time now that I am home from work. I had a crazy day!!!!

Rlk1--Yes!!! Go Follies! Im glad they bumped up your meds! And your E2 sounds good. I do go back tomorrow, so we'll see. I have lots that still arent over 10mm yet. So your back Wed? SOunds like things are working out! We will be talking about the 2ww before we know it.

Dawn-- Your FET is going to become a BFP! PMA!

Ang-- are you going for an appt tomorrow? What meds are you on?

J&C-- 8 eggs is great...Cant wait to hear your fert report! Im so ready to go! Those babies will be snuggling inside soon! How many will you transfer.

Anie-- Glad you have a date now. Friday is sooooo close!

Rdoc--- Last pill tonight? April 4 is soon!

Sita-- do you have a u/s tomorrow???

Okay well I will let everyone know how my appt goes tomorrow.

They pushed my b/w and u/s to Wednesday afternoon, so I have to wait another day. I've been on Lupron since 2/23, which is a bit longer than they had planned. I'm a week over our original plan, since I was supposed to start stimming last Wednesday. I'll hopefully start Gonal F this Wednesday and lower my Lupron to .5 per day.

Well TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT LADIES!!!!!

I trigger tonight at 10:30! ER Thursday morning at 10:30 am. Everything looked great at my appt today. My lining looked good, thats what I was most worried about. 10:30! Ill have to stay up late! haha...i usually go to bed early! How was everyone else's appt today? Rlk1-- cant wait to hear about yours tomorrow! well ladies...I'll be on later! At this time next week, I'll be PUPO!!!!!!!!!!! Steph

Since rlk1 and Neffi211 asked...

Our 4 embies are holding strong, and our transfer will be tomorrow morning. (Yesterday, they mentioned that there were 2 other possibilities, but they ended up not splitting.....so we're holding onto our 4 strong ones.) I'm taking the next 2 days off work to just lay around and put my feet up.

I'm not sure how many embies RE will want to transfer. I was hoping for 3, but I don't know if they will only freeze 1. I guess we'll find out in the morning. I'm so excited that we've made it to this point. Trying to keep with the PMA.

I just got home from my first acupuncture appointment, and everything went well. I figured I'm used to all the needles by now, so what's a few more They also hooked them up to a current of electricity, which was a little scary but ended up being relaxing. I could not stop thinking about it the first few minutes, but then I ended up falling asleep. I'm going to do this 2x week until transfer, so keeping my fingers crossed it works.

J&C: Thanks for the update! Four is a good number to be working with! I think it's great that you're taking a few days to pamper yourself after the transfer. Lord knows we deserve it after the ordeals of cycling! Good luck tomorrow--I'll be checking in to see how it went (although, I'm not sure you'll be able to post given you'll be on bed rest!).

Angram: I'm thinking of doing acupuncture if I make it to transfer (I will, I will, I will--that's me attempting to have a PMA!). Do you know if the benefits of acupuncture only apply when you do it throughout your cycle (not just on the day of transfer)?

I'll fill you guys in after tomorrow's u/s and b/w. My ovaries hurt--I'm hoping that's a good sign (that my little follicles are growing). Have a nice night everyone!

Well Ladies lots of things going on!

J&C-- Those 4 embies cant wait to be transferred! Im looking forward to hearing how many you transfer! I also will be taking 2 days off to rest after transfer...which will be Sunday or Tuesday! I think Im going to work friday after ER though, as long as I feel okay.

Ang-- Acupuncture! I have thought about it! I think I should try it....the only reason I havent is because of $ I need to check on insurance coverage. Well Im glad it went well. You must be excited for your day coming up!

Dawn-- thanks for the luck...I'll take all I can get!

Good luck to all of you! It's so exciting that everyone is moving forward. I have my estimated schedule--starting Lupron March 28, b/w and u/s April 11 and start follistem, estimated ER April 23, estimated ET April 28--hoping and praying I get blastocysts again. So, I am behind all of you, but still in the March/April cycle.

I enjoyed my first acupuncture appt yesterday, but thought it may be my last due to my work schedule. To my surprise, I received a call today from the receptionist saying the acupuncturist would see me on Saturdays! I am so relieved. I am doing this for relaxation to help with fertility. I opted out of the herbs (it seems this is the most costly part!).

Well, my next round of meds will be delivered this week--I guess that means I'm moving closer!

Neffi-good luck Thursday! This sounds like a great cycle for you--rest--you work too hard

Hi all--

Oh my gosh, I'm freaking out. I even placed a call directly to my doctor after speaking with the nurse (I'm still waiting for the doc to call back). They're decreasing my meds tonight and last time they did that...my cycle was cancelled. I hope my doctor doesn't mind that I want to talk to her about this decision--I've never placed a call to her before so hopefully she'll be understanding.

Based on my u/s and b/w today, I thought things were going well. I have one follicle that's 14.1mm, one follicle that's 13.4mm, and a bunch that are over 12mm. My E2 is 993.

Anyway, I had to vent to you girls. I hope you don't mind.

DrJen: Having a date is great--it's so nice to count down the days!

Angram: Hmmm....perhaps I should've invested in acupuncture too. Clearly, I'm a wreck!

Neffi and Anie: Good luck tomorrow and Friday! Can't wait to hear how it all goes!

DrJen....hey, not to worry, I'm behind the crowd too! My FET is not for over 3 weeks yet. I have enjoyed just sitting back a little and watching everyone's progress the past couple of weeks. Its fun and I can't wait to read all the bfps! Hopefully, they'll all stick around to see our BFP's too!

Sorry I haven't posted much. I'm following along quietly is all.

I took my last BCP last night and will start the patches in a few days when I get my bleed. So, things seem to be going OK.

Okay, I know you all must be soooo sick of me (clearly, I post too much). Just thought I'd pass along that my doc returned my call. She said she thought this cycle was going much better than last, but she just doesn't want me to hyperstimulate (hence, the decreased meds tonight). Now I'm embarrassed for freaking out. Can I still blame my bad behavior on Lupron?!? Have a nice night everyone!

Hi Ladies,

I hope it is alright if I join in on your group. I am just beginning our first IVF/ICSI attempt and would love to have some cycle buddies. I finished BCP a few days ago and have been on 20 cc of Lupron for almost a week. I'm to go in for my first U/S bloodwork apt tomorrow am so that I can start stimming tomorrow evening. (Gonal-f, Menapur). I also feel like I'm a pill popping junkie because I'm taking baby aspirin, evening primrose, pre-natal vitamins, and metformin x 3! They estimate my ER to be around 3/24.

As with many of you, I've started accupuncture and yoga. I absolutely love the accupuncture, but think that this is very dependent upon who is your accupuncturist. I went to another lady who specialized in Japanese accupuncture during our IUI cycle and didn't like her one bit. (Not to mention the BFN that resulted!).

rlk: Calling your doctor is your right! You shouldn't feel like you have bad behavior. If you are like me and paying out of pocket, I think that you are entitled to many calls without being considered crazy!!!!

Neffie and Anie: Fingers crossed for you both! BABY DUST TO YOU!!

Nicaliw: I'm very excited that you are finally finsihed with the BCP. I remember how happy I was to see the last one go down!

Work is done and tomorrow is my ER. I am so ready for it! I took a HPT this morning after my trigger last night...I cant wait to see a real positive ina couple weeks! My appt is a 10am, so I will be on later in the day to let you all know how it went.

Rlk1--BREATH! Things are going to be fine! You dont want to hyperstimulate! Your drs know what they are doing! But it is your right to call them as much as you want! I can understand why you freaked out. I freak out about everything! 14 mm is great...you're getting there...Your ER will be probably this weekend! We can suffer through the 2ww...are you a hpt girl???

Elisabethski-- WELCOME!!!! Doesnt it feel great to take your last BCP? Your ER will be here before you know it.

Nicaliw-- same to you...no more BCP!!! YAY! your time is coming!
