ICSI

Post by sugabeanzs »

Ladies who have had ICSI, I have found out that I am pregnant with twins through ICSI. Are the risks for mental and physical damage more likely? Or do most turn out alright? I have a weird feeling now that I have been looking it up online and it is scary! Any advice and insight would help with the matter. Thanks!

No, no problems here. Take it easy. Like my obgyn used to tell me - "you can't get off this train now". I am sure everything will be fine. Goodluck!

Hi,

I have a little girl through icsi and she is absolutely fine. In fact i think she may be a little advanced for her age but definately no problems. I guess with everything, there are always risks, there are no guarantees either way, even with natural conception. I know its hard but try and look to the positive, what a milestone you have achieved!!! But i do also know how once you get the BFP, its hard to believe everything will be ok.

good look and keep us posted

Congratulations to you! I have a 6 month old daughter through ICSI. We just went for her well-baby check-up yesterday and she is developmentally right on target, if not advanced!!! She is doing excellent. Please, don't worry about the crazy things the internet says!

hi,
I am mother of twins (boy and girl) n it was through ICSI. I was also so much worried like you but everything was really OK coz my little boy n girl are now 14 months old n they are so beautiful and healthy. physically and mentally. Twins pregnancy itself is a risk pregnancy and its not related with ICSI.
so dont worry and try to enjoy ur pregnancy and free time because after twins birth u wont even get time to sleep propely :)
love
