ITS WORKED

Post by alisonn »

this was my 4th ici's treatment in 12 mths, and i was 43 last month
so i felt time was running out.
i was suppose to test last fri but chickened out, i was picking my mum
and dad up as we were all of to ireland for a wedding, and i was
so convinced it hadnt worked i said i would rather wait till the following
morning when my mum and dad wernt with us so i could have a good
cry on my own. Did the the test on sat and it was a v.strong ++++++
i cried, but i couldnt believe it, so i went to the hospital yesterday
for a blood test to confirm, and now have my scan booked for 20/1.
so now its the next dreaded 2ww.
i joined this sight during my last treatment, and have found it very
comforting, and would like to say tk u to everyone who has helped me.

What wonderful news to wake up to - I am very much of the don't give up if you can thought and wow look. The 2ww is a mare - I have just got through another - one ectopic then 2 negatives then positive only to find he had died at the 20 week scan and now pg with twins - waiting for 12 week scan in 4 weeks roughly and panicking. Don't do scans very well.
I am 37 and get in a flap - good on you - and congratulations to your DH.
Stories like this are always so good for this board.
Plenty of rest and drink lots - water
:D Love
