Neffi -- I will be praying for you hun. Remember the Motto on this thread, think positive. I know it is hard when you hope for good news and have a set back because we have had our share but use us as an example. we are almost 12 weeks so not all bad news is alway bad. Remember that this is all God's will and he always answers prayers for good people.

Also we had 9 eggs that were stillgoing strong the day of our 6 day blast transfer but a day after transfer they told us none made it to thaw. Maybe this is why. Maybe they don't freeze blasts. Stay positive and it will all work out.

Andnichole -- Glad everything is going good with the babies. When is your Nuchal test and are you going to see Dr. Sweeney in Annapolis is does Shady Grove have another high risk specialist near the Frederick area? We have our Nuchal on Tuesday. I must say that I am a little nervous about this test. I guess it's sorta like the last bit of bad news that you could possibly get at this point. I'm thinking positive thoughts.

Esperanza and Ms G -- 4 for days!!!! Everything crossed for you.

I know I have been looking for Schel but it seems that she may have left the board. If anyone has been in contact, please let us know how she's doing. Schel if you're reading, please let us know that you and baby are doing okay.

To everyone else I may have missed, good luck with everything.

IVF #1: POSITIVE - Michaela born 9/19/08
IVF #2: Consult on 10/13/09 - Start BCP Dec since clinic will be closed for the Holiday.

to washingtonda - all the best for your test on Tuesday. I'm thinking of you and look forward to reading your post. Glad the bleeding has stopped and that you and dh have a beautiful HB to listen to whenever you want...

to neffi - good luck for your ET! 8 fertilized eggs is great! Hope all have continued to divide and grow and will soon be snuggling in for the next 9 months. Keep us posted on how things are progressing! Think positive as much as possible.

to esperanza -- just a few more days and you'll be PUPO! glad all of your tests came back in the right place so you don't have to wait any longer till your snowbabies are on board on Wednesday. Good luck!

mrs g -- best of luck with your transfer on Wednesday!

pumma - how's the stimming going? what are you taking this time? I started as well. I'm taking Menopur, Puregon and still a bit of Decapeptyl. Weather here is back to grey and grey and not so warm...you aren't missing much at the moment! since we've started IVF, we haven't had the $ to travel much to the US - but we'd love to become a family and realize that we have to make compromises. I know you understand.
Think positive pumma, this is your time! Try to put your bfn behind you. you are in a new, fresh cycle and everything is possible if you believe.

unexplained - nice to see you around! hopefully the time will fly by till May! thinking of you. we'll be here till you get your bfp!

to ct-michele and andnichole - thanks for keeping us posted on your progress and for all of your continued support!!! it is really so nice of you to hang around to cheer us on to our bfps! Glad all is going well with your pregnancies. It is so inspirational.

I've started stimming and go for my first scan on Thursday. Looking forward to seeing what is going on!

I'll try to find the list to bring it up-to-date! Enjoy the rest of your weekend! xx Amy

Hey Ladies--

Thanks for all the positive thoughts! I am feeling good today. Hopefully I will hear fromthe RE about their progress. This is the scariest part! I need them to divide! I hate when the phone rings....my stomach drops to the floor! I hate it! Anyway, I have a feeling, even though my fert report wasnt great, that this is my time. I dont know why, I just do. Oh Washingtonda...I saw that Schel answered a post about a week ago.....she and the baby are doing fine I guess. I responded telling her that we hadnt heard anything...but she didnt answer? Her ticker says she is still pregnant...so I assume everything is okay. Okay well if I hear from the RE I will let you guys know later. Good luck to all that have important tests coming up! And to those who are stimming...GROW FOLLIES GROW!

hi friends,

Neffi I'm saying a prayer for you my dear. Those embies are going to continue growing and dividing and will be inside of you for the next 9 months, I can feel it. Mrs. G., you and I are going to be in the 2ww together!

Amy-- you're too sweet to keep up with our list. THANKS! I'm sending tons of positive vibes for your scan on Thursday.

Washingtonda-- SO glad you and my baby's college roommate is doing well  Like Neffi said, I read a post by Schel a few days ago. Her ticker said that she was 16 weeks pregnant, so I'm thinking that everything is fine with her.

Andnichole--I'm hoping to join you with twins really, really soon  Good to hear that your appointment went well.

Pumma--I know! I'm working on my jealousy. I'm hoping to be at your level in a near future. How are the stimms going? GROW follies GROW!

Mrs G--our time is coming!!!!

A few days ago I went to a book signing/talk at a local bookstore about a book called "Our Bodies Ourselves: pregnancy and birth." It was SO empowering. I ended up buying a copy of the book and I am reading it. So far, it's been wonderful. I recommend it to you. Check it out if you want. Here's a link (there are a few excerpts from the book) http://www.ourbodiesourselves.org/publi ... efault.asp

What I like most about it is that it gives you information about different choices and points of view when it comes to pregnancy and birth.

Neffi211: Hang in there. Remember, I only had 3 eggs at retrieval and we still ended up with twins! Keep up the PMA. A Day 3 transfer isn't a bad thing. We originally were going to do a Day 5 transfer but when I only produced 3 eggs they told us that we would be doing a Day 3 transfer and it worked.

Washingtonda: Sending you lots of good thoughts for your appointment tomorrow. I am seeing Dr. Kramer here in Frederick for my nuchal scan. He also has an office in Rockville.

Esperanza and Mrs.G: Sending lots of baby dust your way for your FET on Wednesday!!

Amy2410: Can't wait to hear the results of your scan on Thursday!!

Neffi -- Where are you today hun???? Wondering if you got any word on how well those embies are dividing. Also wanted to know if you were doing a 3 or 5 day transfer? Keep us posted.

Esperanza and Ms. G -- Just 2 more days and you ladies will be on the other side. I know that 2WW is a killer but think baby thoughts and it will all work out. Remember don't try to look for signs and sympthoms because they are rarely there. Just enjoy the waiting and know that it will happen for the two of you.

Amy -- What is going on with you. I see that you are testing but must have lost where you are in the process.

Andnichole - Thanks for the well wishes for tomorrow. I'm praying that this is the last bog hurdle we'll have to jump during this process. I am doing fine now. The bleeding is gone and hopefully that is forever.

Hello Ladies, and a Happy St. Patricks Day (or Leprechaun day as the kids in school like to say) to all!

I can not believe it, I made it to 4 months, I am 16 weeks today! I am really confident that a lot of you will be joining me very soon in this pregnancy journey.

Esperanza and Mrs G- Only 2 days until transfer. We are all very excited for you and will be here to get you through the dreaded 2ww, lots of baby dust for both of you...

Neffi- Any news today? 8 fertilized sounds like a good number even though you took it as bad news b/c of what happened last time. This is a whole new cycle, and anything can happen this time. I had 8 fertilized and I am now 4 months pregnant! Remember, it only takes one and we are all praying for you

Washingtonda- Good luck with nuchal, the u/s itself was easy of course, except they made me go with a full bladder and it took the baby a while to get in the right position...I had to pee sooooo bad and the lady was pushing down on my tummy, but we got to see the baby for a nice long time on u/s, which was the good part. Make sure you let us know results when you get them, and try not to worry, more often than not, everything turns out fine

Amy and pumma- Just about one more week until ER, you guys must be getting excited. Happy stimming and baby dust to you both!

I hope I didn't miss anyone, forgive me if I have, I have been quite forgetful lately, which I have read can happen in pregnancy...I wonder why? Oh well, have a great day and I am looking forward to everyone's updates.

hi everyone -
mrs. g - thanks for the update! best of luck to you on Wednesday!

ct-michele - congrats on getting to the 4 month mark. you sound so very happy. thanks for all of your support and encouragement. You're also right that I'm about a week away from ER -- I've been so focused on my scan on Thursday, I hadn't realized how close I was -- wow! finally!

washingtonda - all the best for your upcoming test! --

neffi - how are you today? any news? do hope that if they did do the 3 day transfer that you are home resting and that we'll hear from you soon.

esperanza - on your mark, get set, PUPO...just 2 days from now -- thinking of you...hope you got those papers written and handed in! Your book sounds like it is a good read for keeping up your PMA! I have the Zita West book close by -- also a good read.

pumma - how are you? wie geht's? -- how'd your baseline scan go? when is your next scan? how's life as a pin cushion these days? grow follies, grow! By the way, winter is making a return appearance here, just in time for Easter -- be happy you won't be driving in the snow to your ER next week...

andnichole - thanks for cheering all of us on! you have a great story and proof that miracles can happen.

I'm still stimming away... and am looking forward to Thursday -- which is not only my first scan, but also the start of a long holiday for me...hooray!

Have a great week,
xx Amy

Well Ladies--

I dont have great news....only a couple embies are going to make it again...a couple is better than none, and I dont know what qrade they will be. I am upset....I think we have an egg problem also! anyway....atleast we have some to transfer. Just wondering for the ladies that are pregnant....what grade embies did you have? Were they great ones? I am feeling down today, but it could be worse, I could have none! Also I had a dreadful night last night....at 3am I woke up with extreme pain in my right ovary area. I thought it was really bad gas...tried to go to the bathroom.....nothing. It was so bad I couldnt sleep..so at 7:30 I called the RE...they brought me in for an ultrasound. They think I had a follicle rupture! It was really bad...I was so nervous it would impact my transfer tomorrow...but they didnt seem to be too worried at all....they said the worst pain is 4-6 hours...and I do feel better now, but still some pain. They said that after ER the follies fill with fluid and can break! So of course it had to happen to me....anyway, Im ok, and the transfer is still on and thats all the matters. I go in at 7:30 am tomorrow, so hopefully 2 embies have made it to blast...thats what Im hoping for!

Hope everyone else had a better day! It always could be worse I guess!

Neffi, sweetie, - as hard as it might be, try to focus on how far you've come and everything positive. I understand your disappointment that a lot of the embies didn't make it, but --You've got 2 fighters there that will be snuggling in and getting nice and cozy after tomorrow when you'll be PUPO. Wishing you all the best for ET tomorrow. Keep drinking lots and lots of water -- 2-3 liters a day. Take care, rest up and your bfp will be here in about 2 weeks! :D :D :D :D - a few smiles for you, DH and your 2 embies! xx Amy

Hi Neffi, sweety. I'm sorry you had to go through so much pain last night. I agree with Amy, look at the positive side of it. Those two embies are certainly the best ones, and the ones that want to continue growing, so PMA. Tomorrow you'll be PUPO...Mrs. G and I are right behind ya ;)
