Twin Pregnancy-movement really only on one side?

Post by Michellyn8 »

Hi,

I am currently 29 1/2 weeks pregnant with twins. I really feel movement only on one side. The last sonogram and appt I had was 4 wks ago. I am going to the DR tomorrow for my monthly visit. I spoke with DR yesterday and he said he wasn't concerned and didn't feel the need for an ultrasound tomorrow. He said that most of the limbs were probbably on one side. I have no idea when my next U/S will be to see if everything is okay. One baby is breech..not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Has anyone had anything like this? I am trying not to worry.

Thank you,

Michelle

I had the same thing but only because all the feet were on one side. IT worried me as well . Funny thing was I was about the same week as you!

Come see us twin mommies on Double Trouble! Congrats on your dynamic duo! Twins are soooo much fun. CONGRATS!

Michelle...

Funny you should bring this up. I too am 29 1/2 weeks (30 Friday) and constantly worry about Bbay B which is the baby on top, Baby A is on the bottom and breech, however I feel her ALL the time...most likely because she is very low, and I can feel her movements penetrating so low that sometimes I think a foot or hand may fall out

Sometimes I rarely feel B move...like the last day or so, not sure if I have felt anything? She is the smaller of the two babies, but still..you'd think you feel something? This isn't the first time, and all of the other times I have felt this way, the U/S shows her moving CRAZY! I think that the Dr thinks I am the crazy one..he can't believe I don't feel it? But honestly I don't!

Rergardless of my 'story' you should do whatever you feel you need! I have a Dr appt & BPP tomorrow, so I will probably wait until then and see how everything is..(I think..maybe..I felt a kick higher up?!) I have also read these on some other twin boards...and they were all around the 27-30 weeks.....

Kimberly and Kelley,

I was able to hear both heartbeats and I am going for a ultrasound on tues. Which was comforting. It makes me feel better to hear that you have both had a similar issue. Well now I can go back to worrying about the 4 million other things : )

Thank you!
