I am a wreck, please help

Betas
11dp5dt 595
13dp5dt 1457

Scan
4w4d--saw one gestational sac measuring 3.8mm

I left the next day for vacation (Tokyo to Canada) for two weeks. I can't get a scan here so I have to wait until I am 7 weeks for my next scan, that is March 31st.

I am so worried that something is wrong. I am feeling fine for the most part, fatigued. BBs are only slightly sore, but that's common for me during pregnancy.

With my high betas and the early u/s what do you think the chances are that something could go wrong? I don't have any spotting or cramping, just a mess.

TIA
Chris

Dear CHris,

I know what it is like to drive yourself crazy with worry in early pregnancy and that it is always a possibility that a multitude of things could go wrong...but hun, seriously...you are worrying unnecessarily!

You have great beta numbers, you've seen the sac (way too early to even think of seeing a heartbeat) and everything is going well! The stress and worry is probably your biggest thing you need to conquer at the moment as this will do you no good indeed!

You are pregnant - C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S XXX

Now you get to wait for all the pregnancy milestones - 7 week scan, 12 week, 20 week and getting to full term! Exciting stuff.

Enjoy your holiday and have faith that you are going great guns and nothing is wrong.

Congrats on your pregnancy! If it is of any comfort, even though I stayed put, I was still a wreck during the first 3 mo.

Try not to worry about things that you have no control over.

Hi Chris
Congrats on your pregnancy! Every stage is a wait, esp in infertility treatments/pregnancies.... & waiting is not fun. I can tell you that from experience. But I can tell you that worrying does not help at all. I am praying for you. Pls try to relax & distract your mind & enjoy your vacation to the best you can [even though it can be hard to do that]. Quite frankly, it is too early to show anything on u/s. Your betas are increasing, which is great. Good Luck!!

Hi Chris,
I read your post and can totally relate. Hang in there--- this is a work in progress that really tests our levels of patience. Everything sounds completely fine. You're on a really beautiful path, so just work to take it one step at a time--- day-by-day. Curve balls may come your way, as they seem to come towards many of us on this early pregnancy journey.

Just hang in there.

Take Care,
Kris
