Hi Jill

What is the name of your baby girl??

Dh and I passed the adoption panel, but we have difficulties putting our paperworks together, and then there is a 2 to 4 years wait until we get a referral and bring our child home...

Dh is 54 now, and 2 years (which is the minimum) seems so long...

We are trying not to give up, but it is hard sometimes, and heartbreaking to see so many children in need of a family that stays years and years in crowded orphanages, when 1000 of families are waiting...

take care!
Me 27, DH 55

04/08 ICSI BFP!!! M/C at 12 weeks
Feb 09 6th ICSI has started! neg
June 09 7th ICSI. Please make it happen!!

Hi Souris,

I remember chatting with you before. Congrats on passing the panel.

DH and I just found out that we got a BFN and feel devastated after 5 attempts and 4 transfers. We are now thinking of adoption.

How have you felt about the process so far ? We are nervous especially because of what we have just been through. Would love to hear from you.

Love,
Sita

my dh and i are foster parents and have adopted 6 of our children.
we have older children and at times it has been very very hard.
but when you touch there heart it is so amazing.
most of our children have no contact with birth parents and have been in and out of alot of homes. they need alot of love.
we werent blessed with our babies to raise here but we our blessed with our grandaughter
and all of our many adopted and foster children that touch our lives
and i am glad to add that our 6th grandchild will be born this spring!!!!

Hi Guys
It's been a long time since I have visite this site but I recognise a few names from before.
We have just finished our third attempt, this one was with Frozen embies DE but received the dreaded call with a BFN yesterday. Feeling kind of numb today, been back to work but cried quite a lot, trying to carry on as normal (whatever that is) but it's very hard. Was watching lots of families on the beach today - it all seems so simple for so many people doesn't it.
Anway not sure what, if anything, we are going to do next but one option that we may consider is adoption and I see a few of you have already adopted or are in the process of adopting.
I have no knowledge whatsoever of the process, where are your children coming from - are they all from the UK? We now live in Mallorca, would we qualify to adopt from UK now? Who should we contact to begin with?
Any help/advise gratefully received, I am going to try and talk about it to DH now, not sure how he will take it...
Love Ali x
