Jen, I'm so sorry for your news. Just take care of yourself and get over it however you need to. And if it takes 6 months and lots of shopping, so be it!

I took a hpt yesterday and it came back negative. I'm going in tomorrow for bloodwork, but I'm not expecting a different answer. Surprisingly, I'm O.K. with it. I guess it just wasn't the right time for us. I think it helps that I'm starting a new job on Tuesday so I have something to look forward to. Anyway, hope everyone is well and Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hi,

Rebecca – hope you are OK?!? and have had a good start to your new job? Do let us know how you are holding up.

Jen, you’re amazing, I love your Easter bunny post. Good for you getting your mind focussed on other things. Have fun planning your holiday and take good care of yourself. Xxx

A quick update from me: Recovering at home this afternoon from my hysteroscopy and feeling OK, just a little weak from the general anaesthetic.

The good news is that no abnormalities were found, everything seems to be OK and my doctor doesn’t expect anything to be found in the lab. The results will be sent to us in about a week with a recommendation on how to proceed. He was very concerned about all the cancelled cycles and delays we’ve been encountering and we discussed the DE procedure and protocols. Seems to me that it’s all down to hormones we will soon be back to experimenting with protocols again… my hormones just seem to have a very special way of reacting to – or not reacting to – the meds, which makes preparing for a DE transfer very difficult. … Trying to keep up my PMA, I promise…

One more day at work and then a 4 day Easter break here. Yippee!

Looking forward to some more Egghead buddies calling in again…
Wishing everyone here all the best.

Bye for now.

Love
Sonia

Jenbabes you do make me laugh with the Easter bunny. Pleased you are keeping yourself busy and may be thinking about another treatment. It will be our turn soon (easier said though than done). Your holiday sounds good.

Sonia it sounds like you are having a mere with your hormones but glade that your test went well lets hope you can proceed as soon as.

Kelly hope you are ok and your 2 little ones are snuggling in there and not causing you any problems.

My update so far is waiting for AF then back to IM for my frosties.
:)

Hi to everyone else and hope that you all have a fantastic Easter break

Happy Easter everyone!! I did get a negative on Monday, but for some reason I'm O.K with it. It just wasn't the right time for us. I think it helps that I have a new job to focus on. It's soo much fun!! I'm working for a pet product company in the marketing group and there are dogs thorought the office! Not running around, just sitting in the cubes with their owners but it's such a nice environment. I can't believe I actually like my job!! Woo hoo!!!

Rhalloo glade you are so happy in you new job. Don't hear of many people looking forward to going to work. I so wish I loved my job. Sorry to hear about your BFN our time will come as I think we are all really strong and determined. Do you have any further plans.

Kelly hope you are well and looking after yourself and your little ones.

Jenbabes have a great time with your visitors.

Sonia hows things going for you ?

I am of to Barcelona to collect my 2 frosties next week so am busy packing and making sure I am up straight at work. Not sure how I feel this time as have no plans if things don't work out. :? I normally always have a back up plan but the whole IVF procedure is so expensive.

I will just have to keep my fingers crossed.

Hi to everyone else.

Will post again next weekend

Lucy - best of luck this week! I'll be thinking of you and your frosties!!!

Rhall - sorry to hear of your results but sounds as though your new job is awesome! I got a bfn right before my new job started (last July) and I figured that it was probably a good thing (in hindsight) because I wanted to put in a good year before I went on mat leave - it turns out that I'll be here over a year but it all worked out. Right now, you can enjoy your job and focus on that!!

JenB - hope that all is going well with you! Sounds like you've been busy which is great! Have you thought at all about your next step?

Sonia - how are you doing? glad to hear that everything turned out okay with your tests. When will you be trying again?

I am doing okay - I reach my 12 week mark on Wednesday!!! I go for my first OB appointment tomorrow and I can hardly wait to see the little ones again. I have had an u/s since week 7 so I am anxious to see that they are both doing okay. I start back at the gym (light exercise) a few weeks ago and I feel so much better - well, other than the exhaustion and nausea (off and on). My DH and I are heading to Myrtle Beach to golf next week and I can hardly wait! I am looking forward to a holiday and some time to spend in the warmth!!!

Take care you guys!!

Upshot is that he is going to look for another job ( difficult as he is so skilled) so IVF is totally out the picture for a while. hurst seeing him so low as he knows i want to go agin after the summer. SO we will take it all a day at a time. Hopefully by the time your babies are born kelly we will have an answer ...LIFE aint easy is it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone – how you all doing?

Hey Lucy – thanks for thinking of me. Wishing you all the very best for transfer. It’s going to be 2nd time lucky for you !!! :D Have everything crossed for you and sending you relaxing vibes. Looking forward to hearing from you. Take care xxx

Kelly – Congratulations on reaching 12 week mark! How did your scan go? Please send us an update. Hope you enjoyed your golfing holiday 8) and all is well with you and your babies.

Rhalloo – glad to hear you so happy and that things are going so well job-wise. Had any thoughts about further treatment?

Jen – I’ve written on the over 40ies thread. Hope you are OK.

Sorry I haven’t been around much. Have been feeling a bit lost and in limbo, not knowing when and HOW? we can start a next treatment cycle. Still waiting for the final lab results from the hysteroscopy and final report from our consultant, to pass on to the clinic. Hopefully we’ll be getting some answers in the next few weeks.

Have a good week everyone!

Love
Sonia xxx
