Is anyone else on the 2ww...I feel so alone!!

Hey All,

Just wanted to know if there are any 2ww's out there besides myself. I had my insemination on Wednesday, so I have 8 more days until my hpt test!!

Just wanted to restart a thread incase there is anyone else out there!!

Hello Kery,

Thanks for posting..I was beginning to think I needed to find a new site. I use to frequent this site a couple of years back, but I took some time off and it seems like everyone I knew has either got preggor, left or moved on to something different.

Anyway my test date is the 26th...but I must confess..I took a hpt yesterday. I don't know why I did it...I promised myself I wouldn't and I realize it was only 7dp, but I was weak and it of course came out -ve. I'm not upset at the -ive...I'm upset that I even took it. I have one more test, so I'm hoping I can hold out on that one until Wednesday. I really feel like my iui worked...although I only had one mature follie, all of my b/w was great so hopefully. I also think that is why I took it...to get prepared incase it didn't work..I don't want to be devastated. I took a year off of trmt to try to give a mind/emotions a rest. My dh is being very supportive so that helps me alot.

Anyway I'm babbling....but as far as your cycling..good luck! And if this doesn't work for me this month..we'll probably be cycling together next month!!

I know it's hard to stay away from the hpt but try your hardest!!! Don't worry about the -ve result it's to early yet.

I took a five month break this time. I just needed a break from all the running around doing bloods, ultrasounds and all that goes along with it. I needed to give my credit card a rest too!!!

Last year we had a thread of some great girls doing a iui cycle together but I guess it's not as popular as ivf is on this site. Sometimes the ivf threads can become so big that I just can't keep up with them all!!

my wifes test date is the 29th. I have a few questions if anyone can answer them that would be much appreciated. She is 12 days post iui. Her breasts had been very sore and last night she had a bad headache and a few hours later her breasts were not sore anymore.
#1 is it possible that her breasts being reallt sore was a sign of pregnancy or is it to soon.
#2 could the headache been a sign of miscarriage
#3 she had a tiny bit of brown spotting once thats it this morning, even with that spotting is it possible she can be pregnant

I have my fingers crossed for you! Unfortunately the really annoying thing about signs of pregnancy and signs of period... happen to be similar. Breast soreness and spotting can go either way. But let's think positive thoughts! The spotting can be a sign of the egg implanting. So you'll have to keep us posted.

yea the spotting could be inplantation. It is really hard to know if it is pregnancy symptoms or the meds still in your system. In my last cycle I thought I had pregnancy symptoms (having been pregnant before) but it turned out it was the pregestrone giving me the effects!!
