Hey ladies-- can I join you? I am 3dp5dt. The 2ww is awful! This is my 2nd IVF/ICSI attempt. 1st in Jan BFN. We transferred 3 embies...not the greatest quality, but they made it to blast. I am very nervous this time. I took my 1st BFN really hard, and emotionally feel wiped out! I dont know what I would do without this site....I dont know if Id make it through! Good luck to everyone! I see some of you already got some BFP!!!! I hope I can join you!

I'm very close to actually POAS. I want to but keep talking myself out of it. Keep wondering why I torture myself. DH says not to. Says to wait for Monday when its official. Hes right. I might just do it secretively for my own mind. But I know if its BFN I will be bummed all weekend and he will know I did it. I'm at a catch 22. I should just wait!

Hi Ladies...

I hope you don't mind me joining in. I thought this 2ww was going to be easier to handle than the first time around. In some ways it is, but it's getting a little more tougher each day that goes by. With no work for the next week that gives me more time to think about this.

Hi Neffi! I just posted on our Mar/Apr thread. We do have the same Beta date!

As I was saying in my last post, I'm still contemplating whether to do an HPT next weekend. I go back to work the day of my beta and wanted to prepare myself with any news that I get. However, I've read posts from women who POAS and then drive themselves nuts testing early. I don't like the idea of putting myself through that. That's why I'm thinking of waiting only 2 days before the beta to test. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Thanks for any input!

ok! I'm another thread crasher :D I'm also the 2ww right now. As Neffi said, I'm also testing on the 31st!!!! I also thought this 2ww would be easier than my first (I just did a FET...we transferred 2 beautiful blasts that are growing into babies as I type ;) ), but I already started to think about POAS. Patience is definitely a virtue!

I don't really feel that desperate...yet, but I do want time to go by fast so I can get my confirmation. I know that symptoms at this point are worthless, but I've been feeling really mild cramps (on and off) since yesterday. Anybody else feeling similarly?

About POAS, I had said that I would not do it because those little things can be evil, BUT today I began to feel differently about them. I will be busy with work and school next week, so the week should go by fast, but maybe on the weekend?

Hugs to all, and babydust to everyone!!!

Hi Girls!

Best of luck to all you girls! I am at the tail end of my 2WW (I have beta #1 this Monday). I caved an POAS at 9 days past my 3 day transfer and got a very clear positive line. I have since tested everyday (because I am a geek and really enjoy seeing all those positives!) and have gotten 4 positives with 3 different brands of tests.

I am not a good person to ask about POAS (obviously!). I will tell you that when I spoke to my nurse, she congratulated me and said that most always the positive HPT's are still positive come beta time. Just make sure your trigger shot is out of your system (I have heard that it takes 10-12 days for a 10,000 hcg shot to get out of your system).

All week I have had these symptoms: the most painful nipples ever!, occasional cramping with occasional stabbing pains around my ovary area, nausea in the middle of the night, feeling that my crotch is falling out (yes, I know it seems crazy!), eating everything in sight, and extreme fatigue. Not sure how many of these symptoms are pg related or med-induced!

I can't wait to hear about all your BFP's! I'll let you know about my beta on Monday! Baby dust and patience to all!!!!

Thank you everyone for your input!

Cornybaby.... of course I remember you. We did get our BFN together. CONGRATS on your BFP!!!! I am SO HAPPY for you. You MUST be THRILLED.

Neffi and Esperanza I think I will do the HPT next weekend, right before my beta. Just to prepare myself mentally. Watch... I change my mind once the weekend rolls around!

BULOWA: Congrats on the BFP!!!!!!! :D

I am glad to see all the new people in this thread, "Welcome to the Madness". Boy, this 2ww is torturous.

I am doing okay. I have been really positive this time, so far. Now, in my second week, it is getting harder. I keep thinking that I will wait to POAS on Monday, 03/31 the day before my BETA. Yet, I keep thinking, I could just start testing in a couple days and just keep testing. I don't know. I change positions on this by the hour.

We are going away to Philadelphia this weekend, so that should keep my mind of it somewhat, but I don't hold much hope for that.

I was sitting at my desk at work on Friday and I called my RN, because I burnt the roof of my mouth pretty bad and wanted to know if I could use Anbesol. For the couple hours before that, I had started getting some pretty bad cramps. These were the first cramps since transfer. Some sharp pains, one spot on the right and one on the left. My RN said the Anbesol was fine, and when I told her about the cramping, she said "Good, hopefully that means you are implanting". That was encouraging, but I am trying not to read too much into anything. I had nausea my first cycle, I have not had that yet. I am totally tired most of the time. It seems all I do is yawn. I am sleeping 8 hours a night, but wake up yawning. I still get some little pains in those two areas that were sharp last Friday, but other than that, not much else.

CAN'T WAIT FOR ALL THE BFP'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
