Angram.....thinking of you, I hope your ER went well. I'll be back later to check on how you are.
Bolouwa....CONGRATS!!!!!! Thats great news.....another BFP! Woo-hooo!
J&C.....don't worry about your beta. Sounds good. Its higher than my first...my 2nd more than doubled and at 5 weeks (when I lost it ) my beta had reached 6350! Enjoy it....you're offically pregnant!
Dr jen...who is the author of that book? I'd be interested in reading it. I wonder if i can find it in time to nurture myself for the next 10 days? Well, I'm off to a good start today, I think, I'm going to get a massage.

Boluwa: Your Beta test is this morning--YAYYY! Maybe you'll be able to tell by the Beta number if it's one or two!
Angram: Hope it all went well this morning and that you're resting and taking it easy. Can't wait to hear how it went!
Anie: Good to hear from you! Anything new?
IrishHope: Yah, gotta love the needles/syringes. When do you start on the meds?
Things here are...not so great. I'm freaking out (I'm sure you are all so surpised...what...RLK is freaking out?!?) because I got really sick last night. I'm afraid that it disrupted implantation since it was only 30 hours after the transfer. Then....to top it all off...I woke up with a sneezing fit. I feel like this can't be good. Ugh. On a positive note, we have three frosties from the cycle. I'm REALLY hoping that we won't need to use them right away. Sigh.
rlk1 - hope you feel better...I am not sure getting sick would disrupt implanation - maybe just call your Nurse to make you feel better. Don't freak out too much...although so much easier said than done!
Bloodtest this Friday I think to make sure I've ovluated and start me on the Lupron Saturday...a frozen cycle seems much less/shorter so hoping E/T is no later than 4/14...
Hi All - quick post then back to sleep ER went well this morning and we got 5 good eggs, so we'll see how things go wth the fertilization report in the morning. I'll post more later, but I'm feeling well.
rlk-Don't worry, I've read that getting sick does not disrupt implantation. You're so lucky to have 3 frosties for the future Take it easy on yourself
nicaliw-I'm at work, so I don't remember the author. The title is "How to Nuture Yourself Through IVF." I ordered it on Amazon--you can have them ship it ASAP. I'm finding it helpful and quick to read. Hope you enjoy your massage
Angram-how are you after your ER? Let us know-thinking of you
IrishHope-Thanks. I'm contacting my mom's immunologist as well-see if he has any insight.
Neffi-Hope you had a good day--keep up the PMA. It is your turn
Hi guys - just a quick update....we had our first scan today and unfortunately, there was no heartbeat. We go for another scan on Friday, but it may not be good news. I'm just praying that things look better on Friday.
I also wanted to say a big 'congratulations' to the new bfps! What wonderful news!
IrishHope: Thanks for calming me down. I did call my nurse who said it would have been a bigger issue if I had gotten sick within 24 hours after the transfer. Hmmm...not really sure that helped ease my mind. Wow, you start so soon! YAYY!! The fun begins...
Angram: Great results!! Sounds like you got one more than expected--woo-hoo!!! Rest up and keep us posted with everything!
DrJen: Thanks for your support! Yah, I suppose I should focus on the good things (that we got a few frozen babies) rather than worrying about things out of my control. How are things going with you? Did you talk to your ER about the testing you wanted done?
Suzhan: How are you holding up? I imagine this is such a scary and emotional time for you. BUT...it's still early!!! I've heard so many people say that they didn't hear a heartbeat during their first u/s but heard a strong and healthy one during their subsequent visits. I'm thinking positive thoughts for you!!
Neffi: How are you doing? I saw you had a scare this morning on another thread, but that Ghost said it was nothing to worry about. What a relief!! Welcome to the PIO shot club--did they give you 1 inch needles or 1.5 inch needles? I have to say, the 1 inch needles are a breeze!! Hang in there, girl. Only a week until your Beta!!
Thanks everyone for the congrat, Hope to hear more BFP on this thread.
I went in for my beta today it is 272. However, I am very nervous right now because I am having cramps, as if AF is coming. I don't know what to do I freaking out.
Ladies-- If you didnt read my thread to ghost....My progesterone was low this morning! I was freakin out! But ghost said my number is okay. Now I have to start the PIO shots. Im scared! All of my shots have been sub Q! I dont know what needle I got Rlk1-- the package says 3ml22 1 1/2 gauge. So I guess its 1.5! I dont know! But my nurse said I would get a bigger needle to get the meds and then switch to a smaller one to inject, but I only got 30 of the same thing....so I have a call in to the nurse on call tonight. My PMA is good today....I dont n=know why, just a good day I guess.
Ang-- Congrats! 5 beautiful eggs! Cant wait to hear your fert report! Rest up!
Rlk1- congrats on the frosties! Im sure you being sick didnt effect anything. But I know how you feel, I worry about everything!
Suzhan-- hang in there, I will be thinking of you! When you do go back??
DrJen-- how was your day? Hope you didnt have an PIA's
IrishHope-- YAY for meds!!!! Friday will be here soon..then you can get started!
Nicaliw-- how are you???
Boluwa-- cant wait to hear your beta!!!

I havent been here in a long time here's my story;
"I had an ectopic pregnancy nearly 2 years ago, during surgary the surgen found that I had 2 wombs, one of which was connected to my vagina, the other not. Both wombs only had one fallopian tube and due to my ectopic pregnancy my tube on the working womb has been removed. As a result I can no longer concieve naturally. So over the last few months I have had loads of blood tests, scans,Lap & Dye, and I started my Nasal Spray for my 1st cycle of IVF last wednesday..... so we r finally on our way!!! please God we'll get our long awaited BFP !!!!
Wishing you all loads and lots of BFP's and congratulations to those who just got their long awaited and deserving BFP's xxxxx

This is all still sinking in for me. Our next beta is tomorrow, and I'm freaked out that it's not going to be where it needs to be. This whole "being out of control" thing is for the birds. [Spoken like a true type-A personality....UGH!!] I'm just praying that it goes up, and that we can schedule our u/s. Of course, then I'll be freaked out for the u/s...hoping that everything is attached where it's suppose to be. I'm figuring out that this roller coaster never ends. *sigh*
Neffi - I freaked out when I saw the needle for the PIO shots, but I swear I would take a PIO shot over the sub-q shots ANY DAY. The PIO shots have been a breeeze.
Keita - I'm pretty sure I read about the orgasm in the middle of sleeping on the Jan/Feb thread.
jennie - Welcome to the board!!!

Oh, and Neffi - I think you asked why it's taken us 5 years. (I hope I got the right person there.) Long story short, we tried for the 1 obligatory year on our own. We tried Clomid with my OBGYN, then he referred us to RE #1 who was a very small woman of about 80 lbs. [Oh - I wish I had her body structure, but I do not.] Anyway, she wouldn't do any tests and told me to loose 30 lbs.
With the PCOS that I have, it's super hard to loose weight. I saw a nutritionist and was up to exercising for 2 hours 6 days a week, and only lost 10 pounds in about 10 months. VERY frustrating. Then I switched jobs to a position where I travel a lot, and all of my good exercise went out the window.
Very depressed and a year later, I heard a co-worker talk about his wife having PCOS, so I changed to their OBGYN, and I LOVE that doctor. He basically said that RE #1 should have never blown me off and was a "dork", trying to use nice words here. We tried 3 months of Femara (like Clomid - which of course, didn't work). I started with RE #2 in November of 2007. He immediately did a hysteogram (sp? - dye test) and found that I have a blocked tube, recommended IVF and here we are.
With PCOS, it really messes with your hormones, and I think that I rarely, if ever, processed mature eggs. Plus with a blocked tube, I only have a chance every other month if it even worked. They usually treat PCOS with BCP, but you don't want to take those when you're trying to get pregnant - UGH!!!
Anyway, when we started the BCP for this IVF cycle, I literally haven't felt that good in YEARS. DH was like - whatever combination of medicine you are on now, let's get back on that when this process is over.
Anyway....that was a longer explanation that I thought it would be, but that's our story. It's really taught me to seek out good healthcare and to be in charge of my own treatment. The good thing about our 2 year desert, as I like to refer to it, is that it forced DH and I to worked through our emotional issues and really brought us closer together. So when RE #2 said let's do IVF, we were like, bring it on. We didn't even hesitate.

Ok - so now I realize that Sue from the Feb/March post asked about our 5 years of TTC. Well - now you guys know my whole story.
Good grief. That's what I get for trying to multi-task. I'm off to do laundry.
