hi Val (and Wibbs)

Just wanted to say hi too! I've not heard from you since I got back, are you ignoring us??? I didn't realise you were having your scan today (I've got mine on Monday!). If you know what you are having - I think you are having a girl - let us know.

I dont' think we are going to find out on Monday - I like surprises too much and I like guessing by looking at how fast the hairs are growing on my legs (tracey sharp said you can tell by this!), or how fast the heartbeats are, or what shape my bump is - such fun!!

Anyway hope you are ok. You too, Wibbs.

Dagny, wow 23 weeks, I don't think I could wait that long! So do you have one at 12 weeks and nothing until 23 weeks? Bloody hell.

We should have had our scan at 18 weeks but we were on holiday and then it was Christmas, so we had to until Monday. I'll have another one at 26-28 weeks. I think this is because its twins and they want to make sure they are both growing at the same pace and that they have enough room. Poor twin one is going to come out battered after the amount of kicking psycho kid has been doing! Its going to get really squashy in there towards the end.

I think twin one is a girl and twin two is a boy. What do you both think you're having? Are you going to find out? Wibbs, you are aren't you? I love finding out what everyone is having!!

Well the nesting instincts have begun, I have a guy coming round to give us a quote for new windows for the whole house and am thinking of having a sunroom/conservatory added which will be a playroom for the kids to keep all their toys.

I've got a decorator coming round to quote having the house redecorated (dh keeps saying, most people only do the nursery, why do we have to have the whole bloody house done!)

I'm off to pick out some new carpets for downstairs and have organised a man to come and clean all the others and the wooden floors!

I've already had the fenceman come and refence all the gardens around the house, so the dogs/kids can't escape!

We have an appt at John Lewis in Oxford Street for end of Jan to go and buy all our nursery stuff - cots/blankets/clothes/bouncing chairs.....the lot!

I decided that once Christmas/20 weeks scan was over we couldn't sit around and wait for things to happen......and once I've got an idea into my head I can't stop until its all done!!

I'm surrounded by lists and numbers of tradesman (thanks to Helen S!)

Are you all as organised or should I say manically obsessed! This second trimester is lovely isn't it. A lot of the worry is taken away and you don't feel/look terrible, you have energy and you look pg so you start to believe you actually are having a baby (or more!) I just keep saying to my dh, I love being pregnant!

Hope you are all enjoying it too - Val, where the bloody hell are you girl?

Hello everybody

Nikola, have you won the lottery or something? How much work can you have done at once? My DH is the general workman in this house and he decided to rip our bedroom apart the other week and the room soon to be the nursary and our en-suite! We have until June to do it on weekends and the odd day off. I am a tad worried to say the least. :? It took him 3 years to do the loft conversion, which I must say is wonderful but OH THE MESS during the build and we have just finished our new kitchen and conservatory all done by DH and you know what? He isn't even a builder - what a bloke!!! He wont let me get anyone in and I just want it all done and dusted like today. He likes doing it. Ho hum.

I am convinced ours is a boy and DH hasn't really thought about it. I ask him what he thinks we are having and he just say's ' a baby', typical male answer. He has got a daughter so I think he would like a boy but neither of us is worried what it is as long as it's healthy and has his brains and not my curly hair!

Wibbs, I hope you do find out as I like hearing what others are having but I am not finding out. Unlike some people on this board and can leave my Christmas presents till boxing day and beyond. I couldn't find out as it would be like raiding under the tree the night before.

DH won't let me buy baby stuff yet. He is supersticious and I am gagging to get out and shop!

I wonder where Val and Jackie T are? :?

Love Dagny x
