I haven't been on here for a while and looks like there's lots of activity. welcome to everyone. It's been several weeks since my bfn and I did receive literature including the prices from a few clinics. Needless to say that my IVF journey has come to an end (I died when I saw how much it costs out of pocket). It's been difficult to realize what my life will be like w/o children, but I haven't entirely given up. I will continue acupuncture and do some herbs and go back to doing the fertility moniter for the next few months to see if anything happnens. If it does great, if not, then I know it will be time to move on.

Good luck to all of you in this horrible 2ww  I wish and pray for all positive things for everyone!!!

Sad

Post by Ali2436 »

Well, things didn't go so well for me. After 1failed IVF and 1 Failed Fet, I can add another failed IVF to the list. Got my blood work done yesterday. BFN. I'm soooo dissappointed. It felt so different this time. Did everything the dr's told me too. Lost weight like they asked me too. Everything by the book. I don't understand it. I'm so sad. But I have accepted defeat. For now I'm going to put all this IVF stuff behind me. Maybe reevaluate things in the summer. I need to save money to try again in the future. My dr was so sweet and said she would give me a huge disc on cycles and she would pay for my meds. Told me to think about it. RIght now I'm emotionally and physically drained. I can't think of doing another cycle. Going to take the rest of the spring off and maybe try again in the summer. Who knows. Good luck to all of your on your current 2WW and Congrats to those who have been succesful! I pray for all of you that you get the results you have wished for.

Ali--I so sorry things didn't work out
I know how it is to be so very sad, especially when you have high hopes and you do everything by the book. This last failure took me a little longer than other times to get over--I guess it's because I know I won't do anymore--I've been so very lucky to have a total of 6 covered by insurance at only a 15 or $20 co-pay, so I really don't have anything to complain about. But I still feel a little out of "whack" even though it's been a couple of weeks since I got my bad news.

Take as much time as you need. It's probably a good idea to take a rest. Get readjusted both physically and emotionally.

I will pray that you get a bfp soon.

Hi!

I hope it's okay if I join the 2WW thread. I am 2dp5dt. I transferred 3 blasts - 1 4AA, 4BA, 3BB. My test date is in one week, 4/2.

This is my third IVF and I'm praying the third time is the charm.

I'm not sure if it's the prog. shot and/or estrogen tablets, but I am tired all of the time and I feel these little twinges in my lower abdomen. Anyone else feel this way?

Congrats to all those on their recent positives! Seems that there are more than when I went through in Dec/Jan.

Thanks and good luck to all!

Girls! I am freaking out. I started spotting this afternoon (right after I received the great news that my 2nd beta is 1282). I think I spotted for 1 or 2 hours (don't know for sure) but I hope it's done now. I haven't had any unusual cramping or anything, but enough spotting to freak me out!!!! Has this happened to you????

Jen-- I am thinking of you! I hope everything is okay! Has the spotting stopped???

So I am feeling pretty good about my very faint lines....I had my sister do a Fact Plus test to see what it looked like even an hour later....and NOTHING! So I think even though my positive came a little later....it is positive! I am overjoyed right now! I cant wait to go Monday and have the beta done. I kinda want to call and ask to do it sooner! I wont though. I am hoping for a little darker lone tomorrow!

Hope everyone else to doing well!

Neffi... Yayyyyy!!!! I am so happy for you!! I just knew it was a BFP!!! It makes me want to try the HPT RIGHT NOW because I'm so curious.

I am getting a little anxious and going in for another acupuncture treatment Friday to lessen the anxiety. If anything, I think these treatments have helped my overall health.

Well Ladies my HPT was negative this morning  I dont understand. Even now when I look at it an hour later it still doesnt even have anything. How do you have two days of + and then a - I dont get it! I am so upset! I was reading about the trigger shot, and everything says that it would have been out of my system when I took the first test. I triggered on the 11th and tested on the 26th. Anyway, this is not what I was expecting this morning. I guess I'll see what it looks like tomorrow.

Neffi... PLEASE don't get your hopes down. Maybe it's still too early to test anyway. Since you've already started, try testing this weekend with me! Even then it may be too early to get a positive! I'm getting nervous about POAS. I've already thought about buying some today and start testing, but I'm not going to (I don't think). Think PMA! PMA! PMA! :D

Is anyone else feeling extremely weepy during their 2ww? I am crying at the drop of a hat...not because I'm sad, but actually for no reason at all. I cried during an action movie the other night! Ugh!

I have also been feeling super tired and have had crampy twinges since the day after the transfer.

I test on Wednesday and had 3 blasts transferred on day 5.

Thanks!

Cheryl--emotions...checked! (I haven't cried, but just emotional in general) crampy...checked! tired...checked!

I've also had a creamy/whitish discharge. How about you?

As you can see I've had all of those as well. I guess it's normal part of the process. Hang on sister friend, we are pregnant, and we are about to confirm it ;)

Hi Esperanza,

Thanks for the support! I really haven't had the discharge too terribly much. Just a bit a few days ago then it stopped. My BB's feel very heavy - I'm sure it's just the prog. And 2 days in a row I had some very "exciting" dreams (I never have them). Oh, and I am hot all of the time now (I'm normally a reptile).

What / when did you transfer? When's your test date. Will you POAS prior? I have the last 2 times and my DH doesn't want me to this time. I'm torn because I really want to know one way or the other.

Yes, I agree that it's both our times! WooHoo!!!!
