Yay on the transfer Sonu :) Praying for a BFP in 2 weeks....PMA!!! Thank you for the compliment too.

As far as my trip today, it went well. It took us a little over 2 hours to get there this time....so yay, much better than the 3 last time. They still managed to make a 2 hour appointment out of a vag ultrasound and FSH test!!! So anyone, I'll know the results this evening. She said that I had a cyst on the ovary that might have an effect on the Estradiol test and if that is the case they'll have to wait till my April cycle to redo the 3 day test before I can start BCPs :( So that would put me at the first of June....not fun. So if you're reading this, please pray that the cyst isn't going to mess things up. We go Thursday for husbands SA, my Mock transfer and the saline ultrasound :).....another day trip.

Indieblue.....Ghost is a man? seriously??? Ha ha, not sure why I find that funny but I have always assumed he's a she! Well, he is very helpful. I think he does research or something.

Sorry so short and sweet. Very tired. Long day at work. My patient pushed for 3 hours today to deliver her baby.....phew.!

Hugs and prayers for all

Nicaliw: I think Ghost actually works at a RE's office....not sure which one. I know I saw a post once that said who he was and what he did....can't find it now though :)

Well, doctors never called yesterday with my results.....even my husband said "it would have been nice of them to call you with those". Guess I'll have to wait the weekend. Sometimes if the test come back normal they don't call, we just move on with the next step....so maybe that'll be what we'll hear on Monday :) Thursday is my shot class, my husbands SA, my Saline Ultrasound and my Mock Transfer....lots to do on that day. I'm thinking they are through with all the initial blood work though, as they had all of it circled on the 'to do' sheet LOL

One thing that I didn't see on the 'to do' sheet was a psychological visit...so maybe I can ask the study coordinator and they'll not make me do that afterall. Oh and yesterday they did give me my BCP's but told me not to start them till April cycle (as long as they called me and told me that the blood work from yesterday was A-OK )

Don't feel bad, I used to think the same thing. I even had a picture of what "she" looked like in my head.

Hi Indie, sounds like you are in the thick of it. So tell me, when you are on the stimms, will you be driving all that way each day or dso you have a place to stay that is closer??? I am wondering becasue I am very far from my new RE. It takes 2 1/2 - 3 hours to get there and it's in Manhattan so parking is a nightmare. I was wondering if I will try to commute, stay at my sister's (about an hour away) or stay with a friend in the city. I don't want to be stressed by all the travel, yet not being at home can be tough too. What will you do? Just wondering if you hav eit all worked out?

You sound well. I hope that you are able to do it this cycle. Thinking of you.

Well, my RE's office is in Atlanta Chriss so I'll probably just stay there during that week. Not sure if my husband will want to stay or not, but hopefully it'll be a long weekend situation and he won't mind too much....there is a lot to do there and I hate making the drive every day (2-3 hours one way and it takes about 40-50 in gas).

Last time, when I donated eggs...years ago, I remember it wasn't that bad though. Pretty much go in, have an ultrasound and then you're gone. So I figured we could get some sight seeing done or just relax at the hotel. Maybe since we're so far out, they'll let us come in every other day or something...who knows.

Sure wish gas was cheaper and then it would be an easier decision :)

I'm feeling a bit dissapointed today....I had a lining check this morning and my lining is 7.6 mm. They said it should be 8mm, so I'm thinking it would be OK cause thats only a difference of 0.4mm. Turns out I have to postpone my transfer date to April 10th and add estrace in the meantime. I know it doesn't sound like much to delay things by 10 days but its still very dissapointing since I went through such a bad time waiting so much longer than most do for my beta to drop. I feel like I almost reached my goal then something else got thrown in to make me wait longer.
I do take comfort in knowing that HE has it all planned out and this is obviously the right timing and there must be some reason I am supposed to keep waiting like this. I know I'm a little ahead of things but one good thing is my due date would be December 30th instead of December 20th. Since I had my first child on Christmas Eve it does feel better knowing the due date is after Christmas. Oh, another positive for the delay is that my transfer will now be after our 1st anniversary, which is nice cause we were going to be on a period of abstinence otherwise.
Ho hum....I guess there's always some positive to draw from every situation.

Hope....how are you feeling? Any symptoms yet?

Kildean and Mia......I hope you're both sailing along nicely. I'm sure you are. Praise god for those precious babies growing inside you.

Chriss....thats so funny cause I had a picture of ghost in my mind too! not as a man, though.

indie.....sure sounds like you're at a busy stage right now. Thats an awfully long way to drive, but totally worth it. I hope all your tests go well and you can tings moving early this summer......or sooner?

Sonu...congrats on the great thaw survival. Enjoy your relaxation time while you wait. Looking forward to your BFP!

Well, ladies, I have been putting off the grocery shopping all day and I must go to Walgreens to pick up my estrace. By the way, anyone else use this??? I'm to use it vaginally at bedtime....is this how everyone else takes it?

I am praying for all of you in your various stages on this journey. Please pray for my lining to co-operate a little better and for my FET coming up in now in 16 days (not 6 days any more, ah, I was so close)

Dear all

I have almost completed my 72 hours after transfer successfully (HE knows :)!!) I am just telling myself again and again that its going to work this time. I know its early to have any symptoms, but I am having cramping and back ache. I hope its implantation. This time its different from other times because of FET. The ovaries are not stimulated and uneasy, so its different uneasiness. I hope its positive, just keeping my PMA.

I have decided that I will not join any work now, I don't want to risk this at any cost.

Hope - I am so happy for you and may you enjoy every bit of your weekend at lake...is it close by?? Best wishes for your beta on monday. Also praying for your sister to have successful surgery and to have right direction in life. May God bless your DSS as well. He must be a very brave child.

Indieblue - Commuting remains a major problem. I think its a very good idea to stay near the clinic for few days. Best wishes for you heathy report on Monday. Praying to God that you start with BCP soon!!

Nic - Sorry to hear about the lining, I know how it feels at this point in time when you were so close to your transfer, but as you correctly mentioned-its all about the timing of GOD. He is a better planner. All the Best for everything!!! Thanks for the wishes. By the way, what is estrace?

Chriss - I also had hysteroscopy last year same time, it will get even before you know it. Just praying tht all the reports be normal!!

Mia - Your U/S is very close, isn't it? Thinking about you and your precious one.

Praying for each one of us here in the various stages of ivf for God's strength and direction.

Sonu....thanks for helping me with my PMA. Estrace is another form of estrogen used to thicken the lining. Its a tiny tablet that I have to use vaginally at bedtime. I'm sure it will help.....trying to regain that positivity that I finally got.

Hi Sonu, i really hope that this is your time. Do whatever it is that makes you feel goos and if that means not working, then do not work. Relax.

Just wondering what you meant by "it will get even before you know it" Is that in relation to the hysteroscopy? (This may be a dumb question.) Take good care of yourself. -chriss

Chriss
Sorry...It was..'it will get over even before you will know it'
so, hunny, just relax. When is it scheduled?

Nic
Thanks for the information, dear. I just found out from wikipedia that estrogen and estradiol are same (dumb & :? ). I am on estradiol tablets and it was started from the second day of my periods and I take it orally.
Anyway...16 days also not far away!!!

Yea, Alisha, i am o excited for you. I am so sure that you and your sister will have a wonderful time going through your pregnancies together. Would be totally cool if you too were having twins. However, we just praise God for his answered prayers and blessing you with however many there are.

It is amazing how many of our wonderful ladies are becoming pregnant on here. Sure helps keep the PMA up.

Nicki- so sorry that your lining was not cooperating. However, I am glad the dr. are having you wait a little bit. We would hate for them to say it was close enough and then it not take. God is wonderful, and I feel He is guiding our dr's. so, while this has put things in delay mode, it may be for the best. You sound like you are doing good keeping the PMA up. I am so proud of you.

Chriss- Will be praying for you on Wednesdsay as you undergo your surgery. I am sure I you posted it somewhere, but I can't find it, what exactly is this surgery for? Is it polyps?
As far as travel goes...do whatever is going to be best for you and help you relax. As I have said we travel 360 miles (one way) for my treatments. W then usually stay with my dh's guardians. It is a fairly stressful situation, and we are still about 50 miles away from the dr's office. So, this next time, I may try to convince dh to just get a motel. We will see how many days we are there for.

Indie-How did your results turn out? Is it not just so frustrating when you sit around and wait for the call and it never comes? i have done that one too many times. Last time I underwent IVF I sat around all day waiting to here how many fertilized and when my transfer would be. Finally at 3:00 (right after teh office closed) I called. However, I did not get an answer. Something told me to call my home phone (even though I had told them to call my cell) and of course they had left a message on my ome phone....and I was to transfer the next day. UGH!!! I get o frustrated with dr.'s sometimes.
It sounds like you and dh are going to have a busy week with lts of appointments. I can't believe how quicly this has all come up. Is dh feeling better about this whole procedure?

Hope- I hope you had a great weekend at the lake.
I have been praying for your DSS mother. I hope things go well for her. I know what you mean about sharing too much with the kds. I see it way too much in the classroom.
So, how did your husband take the news that you guys are pregnant? Did you end up telling him before your appointment? I am sure that he already suspects.

Well, ladies, talked to my dr. office this past week and looks like we sort of have things on the calendar. I am new to FET so, this all seems weird. May need alittle guidance with what to expect...so different than a fresh cycle. They told me to stay on BCP until May 22. I am then to call them with the start of dear AF. They will then give me like 14 days of estrace and we are looking at a transfer on June 9 or 10. They said they really didn't even need to see me in the office until the FET. Should that scare me?

Okay, one last thing. I asked you guys several weeks ago to pray for my students. Well, the results came in. My clas got a 95%!!! I am so proud of them. I have 2 kids who failed...one missed it by 2 questions, the other by 3. So, they will retake it on April 30 and we are hoping for 100% passing. My co-teacher only got 72%, so as a 3rd grade group we are sitting at an 84%. Not real good as last year when I was the only one teaching reading we were sitting at 94% after our first round of tests. So, we have a littel work to do, but I know the kids will get there. now, we will focus on our next HUGE test which is April 29.

Okay, enough about me. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I am praying for each and every one of you. God is so awesome!!!

Dear Alisha

Image

I am so happy for you. It will be wonderful joining your twin sister in the pregnancy journey, all the tips and tricks will come handy.

Dear hrobinson

So glad that you finally got your schedule, June 9-10 is not far away :D . As far as I go, in spite of failures during my last 3 fresh cycles, every time I began a new journey with renewed enthusiasm. And believe me after those 3 times when I was being subjected to innumerable shots of different kinds, this FET cycle is a cakewalk. I have not even taken a single shot in this cycle till now. (I am 5dpt) I have been on meds such baby aspirin, estrogen and folic acid and now ofcourse Progesterone pessaries.
And also, I don't know if you have read it but when asked to Ghost - How successful is FET? He said that doc has more control over endometrium in FET cycle and hence the success results can be high.
So keep up the PMA and keep your FAITH intact in GOD and BELIEVE this your time.
The results are really outstanding, sure you must have been a true guiding force behind it. I know how much hard work goes into it. I just want to congratulate you on being such a wonderful teacher.
