JCB's 2 -Where we all are!

Hi All thought I'd jot this down so that we know where we all are so far. When E/C dates are known we can slot them in. One question When I had my IVF I only had one injection to down reg it is a depot injection so it's slow release over time. It's call Prostap, anyone else tried this, could someone ask thier consultant about it for me as I would like to see why other clinics don't seem to use it!! AF due on 19/20th so should start stims on 23rd Right off to the slopes lot's of love and hugs to all and lots and lots of positive vibes!!!!!!!!!!

Wish I was off skiing...planning a week in March but obviously hoping I won't be able to ski! where are you off to? Hope there's good snow and you get some sun too

I am back for my next scan on Monday so fingers crossed for a nice crop of follicles

Hi Guys

I have been like a zombie for the last two weeks whilst taking Buserelin.......headaches and sooooooo tired!!

Anyway I have started Purgeon on Thursday and I am waiting to feel better!!

I am injecting myself.....!! Which is fun but my husband would pass out if he had to.......have to say it is horrible, but what needs must!!

Next scan is on Tuesday and I will find out definate dates for ET and DHs biopsy then.

Hope all is going well for everyone else! Keep positive

Hi everyone

Hope your all having a good weekend? Have been at work 9 til 6 today so am knackered and having to try and stay awake for jab at 10!

Have got my 2nd scan on Monday and am dropping from 225iu Merional to 150iu tomorrow. Had 4 follies on each side of 4mm each at baseline so hopefully they'll be growing nicely. Ec should be w/c 19 Jan. Am a bit worried though cos I haven't had any side effects so far so I hope it's all working?! I just hope they don't all come at once.
Maybe it's just me but I'm feeling a bit restricted while I'm injecting, I feel like I can't really go anywhere as have to jab at 10 at night. I suppose I could take them with me but I think my frozen peas would melt!!
Right I'm off to get ready for jab then bed.

Thanks for the list Aly,have a good day skiing.
We are injecting in the morning and cos dh is a postman we inject at 4.30am I'd rather get up with dh and let him inject.its not very good for dh to get up on his only day off at 4.30 but it will be worth it,plus we went back to bed.
I go back on tues for scan and bloods and to start the 2nd injection of Orgalutran last time I used Suprecur but I was only on 50 and I did too well that we had to change from iui to ivf,so they are hoping I will be slower on Orgalutran.I'm on 125 of Puregon which is a lower dose.
I'm just full of cold at the moment but hopfully it will have gone before we have the ec.
Is anybody going to take baby asprin?

hi gem id just like to sat that im still pondering with the idea of taking aspirin the clinic didnt recommend it first time but i think ill ask them again even if they dont recommend it i may still take it.

I started FET with Buserelin injections on fri 16th, and am amazed how exhausted I feel , ( has anyone else felt like this)?
Bloods on 2nd, if ok,on to oestrogen tabs and looking for transfer around the week begining 16th! fingers crossed!
How are you getting on?

Glad to see your doing OK I was beginning to worry about you. Seeing the Doc on Friday although AF is being sluggish so will have to see if I start stims on Friday or the Weekend. most JCB's are posting on the JCB first thread so you can catch up with everyone on there. I'm presuming transfer is 16th Feb?? I have never had any frozen embies so FET is a bit of a mystery??
