Neffi211 - sorry to crash your thread, but I saw your post and felt like I just had to reply. I am so sorry for the beta hell you are in and I know exactly how you feel. I'm not sure if you've seen any of my posts (Jan/Feb thread), but I started with a 13!!! My beta's were 13, 23, 37, 106, 1182. I am pregnant with identical twins. There was even a 3rd little angel in there, but sadly no heartbeat. So technically I had a triplet pregnancy even with those low numbers to start. Even when I went in for my 7wk u/s, my doc warned me not to expect to see a baby, with such low numbers, but it CAN happen. So hang in there...the stress is not good for you or the babies. I know my story is somewhat rare...but try try try hard not to be concerned yet. Cautious optimism is what you need right now. I'll be praying for a big number on Wednesday.

hugs...

PS - kbear and cheryl and anyone else I may have missed - congrats on the BFPs!

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. My beta was today and I got a BFP!!

I can't believe it. I was in complete shock when my DH told me. I had the RE call him and not me since it was my first day back. Unfortunately, I didn't get the beta numbers and DH didn't think to ask. That's okay. I'm just trying to enjoy this moment!! It's slowly starting to sink in. Anyway, I gotta run and figure out what we're doing for dinner tonight.

Congrats on all the BFPs!!! I'm sorry I'm not myself right now. I feel like I'm in a dream.

Morning All!

Esperanza - I read your news on another thread. My heart is broken for you. Please don't give up or lose your sparkling personality. You'll be a mom soon, I just know it!

Neffi - Cornybaby is a perfect example of low numbers not meaning "everything." As hard as it is, just try to talk to your little one and keep the thought that you are indeed, pregnant! My prayers are with you.

Congrats Ann! Please let us know your progress.

As for me, I've tested positive on a POAS for the last 4 days. I have my HCG tomorrow. I think my DH will believe we are once he hears the number.

MRS. G. : I am so sorry for your news. Please take time to grieve and when you are able to give it another try, we will be here for you.

ESPERANZA: I am also sorry for your results. I am sure this summer, you will get your BFP.

NEFFI: I am praying so hard that your BETA doubles, please remember Cornybaby.

CHERYL: Congrats on the positive HPT’s, let us know your BETA as soon as you find out. I transferred four embryos, and my BETA was 14 days post 3 day transfer. I don't really feel old, but it seems in regards to results and fertility that our age is considered past prime.

ANN D: Congrats on the BFP!!

Hi all,

I'm pregnant! Yippie!

My HCG at 9dp5dt was 316. I have a follow up beta in 2 days and if all goes well, my 1st sono will be 4/16 (early to check for ectopic because that's what I had a few months ago.)

I'm so excited that my number is high...I was aiming for it to be 100. What a blessing!

I hope everyone else gets their BFP.

Hugs and baby dust to all!

CHERYL: CONGRATS ON THE BFP!!!!! Great number, close to mine. Keep us posted as to your next BETA.

Had my 2nd BETA today:

They were looking for anything over 600, mine was 740. Things are looking good so far. Next BETA Friday and ultrasound on Fri 03/11, but they don't expect a heartbeat by that time.

I hope all is well with everybody.

TAKE CARE AND HUGS TO EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!

Well Ladies, My nightmare was confirmed today....Chemical Pregnancy! My beta went from 26 to 23. I dont even have any tears left to cry. Other than the extremely difficult emotions I have had the last couple of days, It is positive to think that I know I can get pregnant, and my embie got that far and implanted! After all my research, I have found that chemical pregnancies actually happen in 50-60% of first pregnancies and it is rare to ever have more than one. I feel that I will get my BFP, it just wasnt this time  It was really hard.....Sunday I was buying maternity clothes! I am devastated, but still optimistic that this is going to work for me!

Neffi - I am so sorry for your loss. Within a period of six months last year I had 2 chemical pregnancies and 1 ectopic. I just found out today that we are successful with our 3rd IVF. Please don't stop trying. It's hard to get through, but it will be worth it.

KBear - Thanks so much! And WOW! What a great second beta! Do they think you have twins?

OMG Girls!!! I'm having twins!!!!! :D :D

Had my first ultrasound today (I'm at 5 weeks, 6 days) and they saw 2 little beans! I even got to see each of their heartbeats flickering on the screen! It was absolutely amazing!!!! I don't even know what to think or feel right now!!

Congrats Jen! What a double blessing!!! Have you had any OHSS?

Kris - when is your u/s scheduled?

I'm barely hanging in as I have a bad case of OHSS. I've gained 10 pds in two days and it's so miserably painful. If I get worse by the morning, I have to go get drained (apparently it's similar to the ER and my RE would do). Grrrrrrr....

Thanks, Cheryl!! I hate that you have OHSS, that sucks! You have an awesome beta, I am anxious to hear your 2nd beta!

Neffi ~ So sorry to hear about your chemical pregnancy. That must be a horrible emotional nightmare. Take good care of yourself. Your BFP time will come soon!

Kbear ~ Awesome betas!!! I am so happy for you! Doesn't it feel good to hear those wonderful numbers?!

Thanks, girls, for all your encouragement and well wishes. I am still on cloud 9 after my ultrasound today! I honestly didn't think I had 2 in there!

I hope you all have a great evening! A new CSI tonight!! Hope I can stay up that late! :D

Hi Ladies,

I had to go back to the RE today due to my OHSS. Instead of me coming back tomorrow, they just went ahead and ran my second beta:

Yesterday 9dp5dt - 316
Today 10dp5dt - 501

I'm right on track! What a blessing. No additional betas are needed. Yippie!
