REALLY bad period pain after IVF cycle

Has anyone else had really bad period pains after an IVF cycle? It's the worst I've ever known - pain killers don't help and it's relentless to the point where I end up feeling really sick. Lasts for about 2 days. But strangely (and not usual for me), it's really light flow - extra surprising given the Pregnyl drugs I've been taking.

If anyone else has experienced this it would be great to know!

Seejae, I have never experienced this. If you are experience pain that is excessive I would definitly give your doc a call.

After my BFN on first cycle, I had horrible pains. It felt like my uterus was falling out. It lasted only a couple days, and my period was heavy, but not as heavy as I thought it would be.

If it does not get better, I would definitely ask your RE.

seejae - After my first IVF (BFN) I had that as a written question at our follow up appt. with our RE - he said it is common from all the drugs/body has gone thru. It gets better but it is definately not fun...my lower back/cramps last about 4-5 days...my body finally feels "back to normal" now and my BFN was 3/7...Hope you feel better soon!

Seejae - I just had my first period after my 1st failed IVF cycle. It came over a week late and it was a very heavy period (I usually have light ones) but no pain.

Last time, I had pretty bad pains during the period--usually get very little or no cramping during af and I remember it was bad. The first day I had pretty heavy bleeding, then the 2nd day it was down considerable & no pain and by the 3rd day very little if any bleeding.
