Thanks for thinking of me on Friday - the scan went well and they found one sac and one heartbeat!! They gave us a picture, you can just make out a white dot, which they told me was the heartbeat. Dr Goswamy and Ann looked really pleased with our progress so far. I'm official 7 wks and 2 days and my next scan is Feb 6th, when they are going to do a Nuchal Fold Scan - I think this is because I've just reached the grand age of 35!! After that we get handed over the the local health authority.
Seems a bit more real now, but feeling okay, the only thing is if I don't eat regularly, I can get quite sicky/shaky. Thanks again for your messages - it's good to have you all to share the experience with. We've told a couple of close friends our news, but will try and wait until we get the all clear at the next scan before going public!!

What fab news you must feel great. It's wonderful seeing that heart beating away inside you. I will never forget that feeling for as long as I live.

Remember to eat little and often even if you don't feel hungry, and drink plenty too.
