Ummmm... I forgot to mention (I plead pregnancy brain... times THREE!)...

The surviving triplets are thriving. They are measuring a few days ahead and have good heartbeats. They all have nasal bones and the nuchal translucency measurements are all normal. They won't be doing the blood work screening since they won't know what to do with the numbers... triplets and just having lost two. But everything looks great and we couldn't be happier!

Sassy~ Glad to hear from you! Sorry to hear you lost the set of twins, but I am happy for the remaining triplets. I am glad you don't have to go on bedrest and move away to see the Dr. in Phoenix. That would have been hard. Hmm...3 girls they think?? Wow, poor dh!!!

Yay Sassy 's back - great to hear from you and you sound in great form. I think it's for the best too and triplets will be a breeze now coz you are young, fit and healthy - this is going to be one exciting thread going forward!

3 girls - how exciting!

We had our first ante natal class - the nurse got all the guys on the floor changing nappies and wrapping dolls in bunny wraps - hilarious! It inspired me to actually buy a few baby items - I am feeling a bit nervous about buying anything as don't want to jinx things. But I am sure my shopping habit will soon kick in!

Sassy!! Glad to hear you are doing ok. I am sure losing the twins was tough, but carrying 5 babies was quite the scary thought though, huh? I am happy to hear all is well with the remaining triplets. :)

Fee - Well, it was nice to see what you look like! I pictured you with jet black hair - how funny, huh? You must be making quite the sexy new mom these days. How is your little man doing? Are you still chasing away flies or have you gotten control of that phobia? Do tell!

Meg - I agree with the sistas as I told you previously - you look great! And Lucy is so flippin CUTE in her little bathing suit!! :)

Angie - are you still not buying baby stuff? Oh honey - I have already packed little Noah's drawers and the kid already has his bedding and crib. Oh - I LOVE his bedding. It is from Caden Lane who coincidentally is right here in San Antonio. If you want to check it out, go to www.cadenlane.com. I ended up choosing the "Noah" bedding...I know, random that it is the same name we are naming our son. Anyway, the lady that makes the caden lane bedding designs for some of the celebrities for their nurseries, so (hold back the laughter) I am somewhat copying Tori Spelling's nursery in some ways. Ha! But she did such a cute job on it! Really!! :) There are I believe some pics of it on the caden lane web site. :)

Nickster - How are you hanging in there? I really believe you are quite the warrior!!

Vicky - Well, my dear - being tall has its benefits, huh? You look GREAT! I appear to be growing at a rate of speed that I believe might be traveling faster than the speed of light. :) I am starting preggo yoga tomorrow. That should be interesting. I need to get things under control. I am starting to have problems getting up off the ground. For the record, it is not a pretty sight when your husband has to give you a bit of a shove with his foot. Very pathetic. I started walking again yesterday after taking a week off to try to heal my back pain. Yep - didn't work. Damn back still hurts. Oh well - my little man has been so active lately and I am having such fun feeling him move and kick. He will be excited to meet Benjamin via the internet when he is old enough to type...which should be by 6 months. I predict my child will be a genius. I have plans for him to very quickly after birth get into a lab and develop a magic pill for mommy to get this lard off her a-- that he helped put there. Well, him and those bags of Oreo cookies. Damn those cookies. Who can eat just one? Hell - who can eat just five??? :D Ok, enough about me and my shameful eating practices...

Jenn - Little Anna is just adorable. I want to squeeze her cheeks! You also look great! I am afraid the old Tina will never emerge again after this. My days of wearing my Daisy Dukes appear to be over. Well, perhaps they should be over anyway since I am quite clearly not the young one I used to be...on that note, I think I will pass myself another Oreo as I type. (crunch, chomp, chew, slobber, crunch, wipe spit from my chin....swallow) Ah - much better! :D

Well, there are a few crumbs left in this bag and I really need to go ahead and turn it upside down to empty the rest down my throat. It is going to require two hands, so I must run...pardon me....waddle off. I am glad to hear you are all doing well. Talk to you soon!

Sassy--So glad to hear that you are alive and kicking! I am sorry to hear about the twins, but I am glad the triplets are doing so well. And I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but oh boy are you going to have your hands full!!!! 3 sisters will be pretty awesome! Are you showing a lot yet? I suppose with triplets everything is amplified! Thanks for thinking I looked skinnier--I still have about 15 pounds to lose before I'll be happy. But I have pretty much lost all my pregnancy pounds, these last 15 were from IVF. My dh bought me an early Mother's Day present yesterday, though--a very cool jogging stroller. I love it. I walk with Lucy and Beau (the dog!) for at least an hour every day (weather permitting) and this new stroller is going to really get me going! I heart it lots!!!!! Hmmmm, I know they come in double, but I don't know about triple! You might just have to buy two!

Tina--I hear you on the cookies thing. As someone who has spent the last 7 months struggling to get rid of all the "cookie" weight, though, let me tell you to go easy! No fun, I know. I used to get so mad at people who would say "be careful you don't gain too much weight" and really I did enjoy every bite that I took during those 9 months, but man is it hard to lose. I think that might be the thing that is most wrong with this world. Forget poverty and disease, I think it's unfair that it's so easy to gain weight and so hard to lose it. Hmmmpff. I had fun decorating my (umm, I mean Lucy's) nursery, too. In fact, I'm still buying stuff for it. Babies are definitely fun to buy things for! Of course, she'd be just as happy (if not more) sitting in her diaper playing with an empty bottle than in her cute outfit with the newest toy, but what does she know!

Angie--Shop, woman, shop! Oh man, I hated those stupid prenatal classes. The ones in the States are basically platforms for natural birth and I had already decided that I was getting drugs, so it was sort of a waste of time. Hopefully they are a little more instructive down there!

It's a cloudy, rainy day here. Lucy is laying down taking a nap, and I think I might go join her! I also have to watch Big Brother from last night. Anyone else addicted to that stupid show?

Sorry, I just had to post once more because my last post was number 666 and I didn't want to end on that! Scary number!

Oh Meg you are too funny! I agree 666 is a scary one to leave as your last post!! I am addicted to Big Brother. I am not really liking this season though. I think they are a bunch of whiny kids! There isn't a variety of ages and backgrounds on this season. Crying and going crazy before they are voted off is getting old. And Natalie is annoying and not very bright. Her voice kills me. Enjoy watching it today! Who do you want to win HOH??

Question~Anna goes for her 2 month shots and checkup next week. Did any of you give your baby infant tylenol before the visit?? Some people are telling me to do that. Should I?

Ohh gotta go I think I just heard her make a stinky diaper. she never does it when Dh is home...

Jenn--I agree that this season isn't as good as others have been although it's gotten better since they broke them up from being couples. Natalie is so annoying. My favorite is probably Ryan, just because everyone else is either boring (Sharon) or annoying (the rest!)

I never have given Lucy tylenol before her shots...she's had to get them 3 times now (2 months, 4 months, 6 months). They really haven't been bad. She was maybe a little fussy after the 2 month one, but that's it. I do usually give her some tylenol that night after her shots just to help her sleep. To tell you the truth, it's never even occurred to me to give it to her before. I suppose it wouldn't hurt anything.

I can't believe she's 2 months already! What kind of things is she doing now?

Lucy is soooo close to crawling, it's scary!

Sassy......I am so happy you are back!!!!!, I was worried about you!!!!. I am sorry about the twins, but, in a way, I guess it is better for the rest of the babies this way, so I am happy that the triplets are thriving and doing so well!!!........and 3 girls, wowwww, you will need more bathrooms than bedrooms for when they are teenagers LOL  . Thank you for your compliments about my picture, it makes me feel better!!!, but I am sure you will look fantastic since you are so good about excercise and all those good things that I haven't done in ages  . When is your next appt with the dr? (I am sorry, not sure if you mentioned it already...). Please keep us posted and don't you dare dissapear on us again like that or we will send you the sista police!!!!!

Tina....your bedding is beautiful!!!!, the one I chose is quite similar to yours I think, modern and in the blue/brown tones, I love those colors!!!!. Oh and talking about Oreos, I remember about a month ago, DH bought the family size package (yes, you heard right), and I "just wanted a couple" (yeah right!!), of course I ended up eating the whole thing alone!!!!!! (needless to say I had nausea for several hours afterwards and could not eat dinner  , but it was all worth it  )

Angie.....go buy some stuff for Wombat!!!!!, you will not jinx anything, I was the same way, I think I relaxed after my last dr appt, and I have been buying stuff since then, it is so much fun!!!!, go ahead, you don't want to miss that!!

Meg...I remembered about you today, because I was at work and suddenly I realized that I haven't felt the baby move all morning, so I was feaking out and I started pocking my belly like crazy and I remembered you telling us about that and how your mom told you she was probably so active now due to that LOL  . Of course, all it took was for me to have lunch and the little one started moving like crazy, I guess he was hungry.....

I have my dr appt next week and I have already scheduled the childbirth education class for May, I am looking forward to it, I guess it will be fun, mostly seeing DH's face after hearing all about the delivery!!!!! . My shower is on May 3, I am so excited about it!!!!!!.

Hope you are all doing great!!!!

Ok wombat now has 2 grown suits (one is fleecy white with tiny colourful aeroplans) it is very cute event if wombat is a girl! 2 wraps (winnie the pooh) and 3 more fleecy wraps and a yellow hooded towel - I am starting slowly.

Womabt's bedroom is another story - couldn't let him/her know about Noah's bedroom as would sure to be very envious. Currently wombat's bedroom has cracks in the wall you can put your hand in - oh dear. Poor DH has been spending so much time in there - banging and scraping but I 'm yet to see much progress!

Saw Dr J today - all is well. He is letting me have a special scan at 34 weeks - I wll be excitied about that - he says there is no reason that I will need it but as we are IVF (and I'm sure coz I am a more mature lady although he didn't say that!) he says we can have it for reassurance .

Have great days ladies.

Hi girls!

Sassy~ Just like everyone else, I am so glad to hear from you. I really was starting to worrry about you. I'm glad to hear everything is still ok. I am sorry to hear about the twins too but I can definitely understand the feeling of that being ok. Things happen for a reason (as we keep trying to remind ourselves these days!) and I guess you were meant to have triplets, and girls! Wow..dh is going to be so out-numbered!!!

Meg~ Oh yeah, Big Brother is big in our house. We are the biggest reality tv show junkies! It really is pathetic! But I agree with you and Jenn, I'm not as into this season as I have been in the past. Like you said, there's a whole lot more whining and crying going on. I say that almost every episode. But I still faithfully watch every time it's on!
So Lucy's soon to be mobile huh? I can't believe she's already that old! I could see that being pretty scary but I guess you won't have to worry quite as much about exercising because I'm sure she'll have you running!

Fee~ Lovin' the New Orleans pic! You look great!
How are things? Is boss man still working you to death?

Tina~ You're so funny! I hope you got ALL the crumbs out of the bag after getting that second hand free! I'm sure you still look just as good as those adorable pictures we saw a few weeks ago!
I LOVE the bedding you picked. I am so into that blue (or pink)/brown combo. Noah will be the envy of the crib club!

Vicky~ I don't remember if I mentioned this or not but you look GREAT in your pictures as well. Wow, you girls really set the bar high for pregnant ladies! There's a lot of pressure to stay looking fit and trim if I ever do get to join you in the pregnancy club!!! You really do look great!
How's our buddy Sanson?

Angie~ I bet those classes are hilarious. Lot's of big men diapering the dolls or doing the breathing techniques! I'm sure it's quite entertaining!
Glad to hear your shopping instinct kicked in and little and wombat got a few outfits!
Sounds like dh has got lots of quality time to spend in that baby room! It sounds like a lot of work but it will get done.

Jenn~ How's miss Anna? I don't think I can be much help on the shot advice seeing as I've never done it but I don't see what it could hurt.

We are doing ok. We seem to be getting better every day. I went back to work on wednesday night, luckily that was my only night to work this week. I dont know if you remember but I am a Labor & Delivery nurse, which of course is not the easiest job in the world right now. I am just going to see how it goes and I am fully prepared to move on to something else if it bothers me too much.
Other than that I am just trying to stay on this healthy track that I was on during IVF (eating good, lots of water, little caffeine, etc.). I figure I've been doing it for a few months already so why not just stay with it and who knows maybe we'll get a surprise like Meg! And if not we'll probably just save up for another round of IVF maybe later this year or early next year. I've even started an exercise routine. I told dh if I can't be fat this summer, I'll just be skinny!

Well I'm off to get my hair cut. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

5 days without anyone in the Sisterhood posting? What is going on???? Anyone out there????

I'm off to get my hair done. I went back to blonde since Lucy is blonde so that I look more like her mom but forgot about those blasted roots! Oh well, I like going to the salon. My sister is an esthitician there, so she babysits Lucy while I have fun laughing with the stylist (who is my sis's best friend). Only problem is that it's in another town an hour away. Oh well, I've kept Lucy up all morning so she'll sleep.

Where is everyone.....??????????

I'm here! How is everyone? I have just been busy and the weather has been so great that I have been hanging out and working outside a lot. Anna had her 2 month checkup this week. I can't believe she is that old already! Cried when they gave her the shots and I wanted to cry with her. She has grown 4 1/2 inches since birth, and gained 4 pounds! She is growing fast! I am loving every minute!

Meg- ENJOY the salon!! I need a pedicure and a hair appt. sooooo bad, but it is hard to find time when you can't bring the baby!

Hope everyone is doing well! I'll check back later.
Jenn

I'm here too. I've been working a lot but otherwise not much new.

Meg~ I'm sure the hair looks fabulous! I wish I could say I'm blonde with dark roots but instead I have to say I'm brunette with gray roots! Oh yeah...premature gray runs big in my family. I have two uncles that were completely gray by the time they were 35, isn't that great??

Jenn~ Glad to hear Anna's check up went well, other than the shots, poor girl.

Hope everyone else is well.
