Tasha--I love the pics! She has the cutest flippin' bibs! They're so funny! I loooove all that hair! I'm a sucker for kiddos with hair. Good thing mine have some, huh? :) So, you're ready to start for a sibling? Yeah! Will you automatically do IVF? I can't remember if you said you had embies or not.? I am with you on missing pregnancy--to a point---I loved being preggo until about May of last year. By that point I was pretty miserable. I could do the 2nd trimester forever! :D

My surgery went well, thanks for asking! Both ovaries are in tact. Whew! Apparently the cyst had gone away in between the last U/S and the surgery, but endo had gotten in there. That's probably what was REALLY causing my pain. Endo hits me fast when I'm not preggo or on the pill, so it must have started after delivery before I started b/c when the kids were about 3 months. Hopefully I'll be able to keep it at bay now.

Hope the rest of you are well. We hit our 10 month mark yesterday!

Hello Ladies....

Kim - I'm glad your surgery went well and both ovaries are in tact! Well lets just say I'm not on birth control so whatever happens - happens. When I started my fertility treatments I was diagnosed with PCOS and was told I'd never get a regular period ever again - so there would be no chance in me getting pregnant without help. However, when Aubrey was 5 months old I got my period... and have had it every month so far - so I'm wondering if we might be able to conceive naturally??? Ideally we'd like to get pregnant this coming fall or next fall... I really liked having Aubrey in the spring/summer and would like to do it that way again if I had the chance.

I hope the rest of you girls are doing well... Colleen - hopefully your out enjoying the weather today. It's almost 70 here!!!!!!

kim- so glad to hear that things went well, and you still have both your ovaries... and hopfully the endo will not be back... 10 months... the kids are growing so fast... gavin is talking so much now, he says nice, and yes and his own form of kitty... still no dada... i really think that it;s a tongue issue from his tounge tied...

tasha- love the pictures, and the red hair is great!!! i plan on going tuesday the 27th... dh is off work all that week, so it will be good... shoot.. i just forgot that my 6YO DS is still in school.. i'll have to rethink it all... maybe an afternoon or something, alto mornings are much better for Gavin... happy to hear that you are thinking about #2... hope that it works out just the way that you want... you got preggo on your first IVF right??

we are ok.... gavin is getting big.. not taking too many steps but one or two here or there... usually when he sees something that he really wants he'll go for it, and it takes him a step or two to relize that he is walking and he drops and crawls.. he does love to walk around holding on to my finger, he only holds on to one hand.

i just went summer cloths shopping for the kids (it's going to be 70 degrees today)... i went to the huntley outlet mall.. there is a childrens place, gap, and carters outlets... there were a few cute things, but there were no spring jackets anywhere.. i think that i'm going to have to do a little more hunting.. my 6YO DS has grown so much he has nothing that fits.. my 4YO just needs a few things, and Gavin is set, altho he needs pj's... he is already in the 18-24month stuff..

well, hope that you can enjoy the weather (if it's nice like here, just a bit too windy) and have a great day!!

Colleen - yes I got pregnant off of my first IVF Cycle - I have two frozen embies, but hopefully I won't have to use them. Also we ended up getting Aubrey's spring jacket at Kohl's... they had a bunch to choose from - good luck.

Colleen - well I never went on birth control after Aubrey... so if it happens then it happens. However, right now we're trying to chart when not to do it... we'd like to move first - so ideally getting pregnant next year would be better.

Oooh, I need to get to Kohl's! Ellie's set on clothes right now, but Braeden has summer stuff, but not a lot of "spring" stuff. He's sooo long too, so he needs 18 month things. I find it so much easier to get girl stuff. IT's so flippin' cute! boy stuff isn't as much fun for me.

It was 70 here too! I took the kids jogging--what a site! Me behind the double jogger, towing my 90 pound labradoodle! I have to train that dog to pull the stroller!

Colleen--that's so neat that Gavin's starting to walk! Ellie cruises a ton, and she's JUST started to stand a bit on her own (for like 3 or 4 seconds). Her face lights up when she realizes she's doing it!

Tasha--I've heard that once you've had a baby, your body finally "figures out" how to do things. Maybe that's what's happened to your cycles? Who knows...good luck with the "not trying" at the right time! Be careful!

hi there girls.. we have been outside all day, now it's the wonderful nap time... we are expecting rain this afternoon and all weekend, so i wanted the kids to burn some extra energy..

kim-i bet that it felt good to get a jog in... i cann't do it because of my 4YO, too old to push, to little to keep up on his bike.. plus he rides without training wheels, and stopping is still a slight issue. we can do fast walks and stuff.. there are some really great trails around here.. ones that go around lakes and they are blacktop, so easy to use... Gavin loves to ride in his little push car.. i hear ya on the boys clothes.... i'm on my 3rd boy, and it's all basically the same crappy stuff.. nothing "cute" no dresses or sun suits .. just shorts and t's...i tend to buy hats... baseball, floppy ect.. my only little boy accessories.. and do not get me started on little boy shoes... or way lack there of..

tasha-it's good to keep an eye on your cycle, i hope that it happens exactly when you want... moving how fun... where do you think that you are going to go?? back by your family or staying out this way?? good luck with that... your PCOS?? right?? when you are ready you might try metformin.. i think that you were on that>? it can help even if you have a normal cycle..

say a prayer for us tomorrow.. my 4YO DS is going in for surgery.. nothing major, just to repair his umbilical hernia... my oldest had the same thing, so i know what to expect, just the anesthesia thing scares me a bit.. i think that every little prayer helps, and hopfully he'll have a quick recovery .

well, take care all... hope that everyone else is doing well, and all our babies are getting big... one year is just around the corner...

Hi Ladies,I hope this finds you all well :D :D :D

Colleen,I'll keep you and your son in my prayers, even though you know what to expect,I can bet this is a worrying time.

Kim, I bet your jog felt good.I dont do much excercise, but ive not lost all my baby weight,so ive joined weight watchers around 12 weeks ago,as it stands ive lost 18 pounds, just 3 and half to go and i'll be happy.

Tasha,I hope when the time is right for you, that you conceive easily, and get a lovely sibling for Aubrey.

Racheal,How are you and your family,I hope all is well..

Casey,How are the renovations going?

To everyone ive missed,im sorry, and i hope you are all well.

As for us,we're doing great,Jack now got 9 teeth, and he's pulling himself up on the furniture and standing for ages, its sooooo cute.He is still not crawling, just bum shuffling everywhere.I honestly dont think theres one day went by that i dont thank God for him.

Take care my friends,Nicola..xxx

Colleen--GOOD LUCK tomorrow. My nephew had the same thing. I hope it goes well for your DS. Hats....that's a good idea! I could go crazy with that. And I agree about the shoes thing....ugh!

Nic--9 teeth, holy COW! Sounds like your little man may just be a walker and not crawl? I hear that's fairly common. I joined WW about 5 weeks ago. I had lost all but 10 pounds of my weight, and it's helped. I'm down to my pre-preggo weight, but that was a little heavier than I want to be now. I'm trying to lose another 8-10. I'm hoping since the weather's nicer I'll be able to get more exercise in. It should help. Way to go on losing your weight! Yeah! :D

Is anybody else's body just "different" since your pregnancy? My hips and rib cage are still bigger than they used to be. It's frustrating because my clothes just don't fit right.

Hi all,

Colleen- How are things with DS? Hope all went well today and DS is recovering. Bet your all giving him some TLC!

Kim- Glad that your op went well and hope you have been resting. How are youfeeling now?

Nicola- wow Jack seems to be doing well. 9 teeth and pulling himself up. Can't believe he is only a week older that Joshua. We have no teeth yet and have only just started sitting up well this week. He does love rolling everywhere tho and that keeps him happy. Was just comparing him today with DD, she was crawling at 6 1/2 months and I remember her at 8 months standing up in her cot screaming! Bet Jack's bum shuffling is cute.

Tasha- sounds exciting thinking about moving and another baby. Hope all the plans come together.

We are well. Have been at the parents for a week but now home. There was a big hole in DD wall for a few days so would have been kind of cold! Things are going well with the extension, but never realised jsut how much work and mess would be involved! get to do the fun part next week tho and order the new kitchen. Just trying to keep calm and go with the flow! Was really proud of the children tho with all the upheavel, DD used to staying at grandparents but this was the first time Joshua hasn't slept at home. They were both great with their sleeping and behaviour except for very early starts as there was no black out curtains.

Looking forward to the weekend, it will be the last one were DH isn't working on the house for a while.
Hope you all have good ones

hi there girls... we are finally getting back to normal... DS is doing well, and there were no big problems.. so now my task is keeping an active 4YO boy calm... it''s hard for him not to run around, ride bikes, play hard... 2 weeks of taking it easy..

casy-good to hear that things are moving along, hope that you had a good weekend with DH.. hopefully it will all be done soon.. it's amazing how different the kids can be.. they hit the stages at different times..

nicola-good to hear that jack is doing well, and using his bum for something HAHA. he could go straight to walking.. good luck on the last few pounds.. and congrats on the accepting yourself... it was hard to accept that it's not going to be the same... little differences here and there.. and it's weird that for me, the same weight, yet look so different.

kim-i hear you on the body shape.. i gave mine up almost 7 years ago now... i can be the same weight, yet look different..for me, it's my pooch, i can do 1000 situps and still there... i'm just afraid that i'll have a big old belly when i get older. also it's weird, but my arms look different.. i started weight training to help, just weird... good on the weight, i'm still looking to lose a few, but does not seem to be working...

as for everything else. we are good... Gavin slept through the night, last night.. did nothing different then our norm. hopfully it will continue.. he's slept through a few times before, the next nights were really bad... i think that he's slept through only about 5 times total...

hope that everyone is well, and take care

Colleen--Glad to hear that DS is doing well. Good luck on "taking it easy"...not sure that's possible! Oh, yes, I have a great "pooch" now! ha ha! I don't know what to do with it? Can I tuck it in somewhere?

CaseyP--Have fun ordering new kitchen stuff! Oh, I could do damage ordering stuff for my own kitchen! Good luck keeping Joshua out of the mess. It sounds like he's doing great!

nic--You're right. I should just accept that my body is going to be different. I'm still in denial. I'm hoping that these "twin hips" will somehow deflate? But hey, another pair of pants fits (kindof), so I'll keep hoping!

Ellie and Braeden are doing great! Ellie is standing on her own. You can tell she REALLY wants to figure out how to walk. She's just not brave enough to "let go" of the furniture yet. Braeden is a speed demon in the crawling category. They're both saying mama all the time. They sometimes say dada, but not as much as DH would like! THey've both now tasted the gourmet food of our dog--ha ha! They both speed towards it, even though they hate the taste of it! And oh, how they smile when I say "no no"! Little boogers.....

Hello Girls.... I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their little ones!

Kim - I hear ya about getting out and jogging... I actually go running several times during the week on my lunch hour - here at work. It feels so good to run again.... No matter how much I run and how many sit ups I do I still have my mommy pouch!

Colleen - I'm glad to hear everything went great w/ your 4YO DS's surgery. If you don't mind me asking what did his belly button look like before they did the surgery? I think Aubrey might need to have the same thing done.... Also I think we're going to look in the Bartlett or Algonquin area... my family lives in both areas and we just love them so much.... I don't think I'd ever move back to Rosemont just because everyone knows everything about everyone there and it makes me sick. Also yes I had/have PCOS.... I used metformin back in the day and I might have to use it again - we'll see. So is Gavin still sleeping through the night?

Nicola - I'm glad to hear that you and Jack are doing well... wow 9 teeth already... sounds like he's moving right along.

Casy - it's good to hear from you - sounds like the house is coming right along. Good luck....

As for us we're doing good... enjoying the beautiful weather we're having right now - although it's supposed to get cooler this weekend - great on my B-Day! Yeah that's right... the BIG 30 is this Friday!!!! However, I'm very excited about it - I feel like I'm accomplished at this age.... I'm in a great spot right now. We're also busy with the 1st B-Day party... all invites went out this week and we're starting to pack goodie bags!!!!

Well here's wishing you all a great night & plenty of sleep.

Tasha
