Hi all--

Kimberlery: Congrats!! 8 that fertilized is great!! Do you know how many you want to transfer tomorrow? I'll be thinking of you tomorrow and I hope that your pain subsides soon!!

Ann D.: I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better. I imagine it's a day-to-day thing and it certainly helps to have such a great DH. Your DH sounds so supportive! I think the "Riley Weight Loss Program" sounds awesome! I'd love to see pictures if you're able to post them. What kind of dog is he?

Nicaliw: Good luck tomorrow!!! I can't wait to hear from you to see how it all went!! How are you feeling about everything? I know what you mean about not wanting to get too excited---BUT...I think this will work out great for you!

Angram: Cabo San Lucas---nice, nice!! I'm so jealous!! Have fun--you deserve it! Talk to you when you get back!

Suzhan: I'm glad there was no ectopic. How are you feeling today--sounds like you went through a lot (not just emotionally but physically too). I hope your appointment goes well tomorrow with your RE. When will your appointment with the other RE be? I think it's smart to get a second opinion---the more info the better.

DrJen, Neffi: How are you guys? Anything new?

IrishHope: Are you back yet? If so, how was your vacation? I'm sure it was fabulous!!

As for me, I had my ob-sono this morning. I was a wreck because of all of the drainings and hospital stays, but to my joy and surprise we saw a heart beat (it was 131)!! To add to the surprise, the doctor saw another sac/embryo. It was much smaller than the first and they saw the heart beat on the screen but were unable to measure it. He said that because the embryo was so much smaller than the first (and because he couldn't measure the heart beat), that it might make it or might not. We have another appointment a week from Monday and he said we'd have a better idea then. So....good news and "bad" news but I couldn't be more grateful. I know we have a long way to go before we can start celebrating, but it was such better news than I thought it would be. Sorry to go on and on about me, but I thought I'd let you all know since you have been so supportive and encouraging (and, truth be told, I feel like you guys are family now!).

rlk....thanks for the good luck wishes......and YAY, TWINS!!!!!!!! How exciting. I am so happy for you. I hope the little one catches up and both do well.

I just watched a great show on discovery health that was an hour long reality show about 4 people's journey through IVF. It was really cool. Out of 4, 2 of them got pregnant, one of them had twins. They showed each couple getting their prehgancy results. I blubbed with all of them, positive and negative. Praying hard for a postive in 10 days.

hugs to all

Hi lispetite...welcome to our group. Hope we can be there for you, everyone here os wonderful and very supportive.

Kimberly, sorry you're disappointed, try to stay positive. I have heard some excellent examples of the the commonly used expression "it only takes one!" I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

This is a happy dance from me. I feeling really good about my FET. All 4 embryos survived the thaw and were good quality, 2 were already starting to hatch. We ended up transfering all 4 cause the doc said the 4th wouldn't survive another freeze. Couldn't just let it die so I took it back with the other 3. Hopefully having 4 good quality blasts will offset the less than optimal lining I have. We didn't measure my lining again so maybe thats even better, who knows. Anyway, now I'm on bedrest (boring) then have to wait until April 27th for the first beta......only 9 days to wait.

Kimberely and Nicaliw: YAY!! How exciting!! I'm glad that your transfers went well--now the little ones are snuggling in!! Nicaliw, your test day is the 28th, right? Kimberely, when is your test date? I'm thinking of you both and sending positive vibes your way!!!

Lispetite: Welcome! Good luck to you too--we'll be waiting for the good news on the 24th! How many did you transfer?

Suzhan: How did your appointment go yesterday? Did the new RE have different protocols, opinions, etc.? Do you think you'll switch to that RE? I'm so curious! Also, thanks for your encouragement--I really appreciate it!

Neffi and IrishHope: Sigh--I saw the new thread that was started. I suppose it's inevitable that we'll all move on to different threads, but can't we all stay together forever and ever instead?!?  Neffi: Thanks for your last post--you've always been there for me! My next appointment is the 28th--I wish I could speed up time. As far as whether or not I was hoping for twins, I actually don't have a preference (is that weird?). I'll gladly take whatever is in store for us!

Have a good weekend everyone!
