Hi All -

It has been awhile since I last posted. It is good to catch up on how everyone is doing. Sounds like we are all very busy!

We had a really nice week in Mexico with Hendricks in February. He did really good on the 4 hour plane trip. He LOVED it there. Every morning he would crawl (yep, still not walking! ) over to his stroller, climb in it, and say "bye bye". He couldn't wait to get outside. It was so fun to be someplace warm, swim every day, and just be out of the house/mall/etc. (Yes, MN winters can make you feel like a cooped up chicken)

Beyond that, the last month has been tough. Hendricks has had 2 ear infections/colds, 2 cases of pink eye, 4 molars coming through, and the latest is Croup. I thought it was "just" bronchitis but turned out to be a bit more serious. He was really having a hard time breathing at night. Scary! DH and I have been sick off and on too, so pretty much we have just been one crabby bunch.

With being so sick, Hendricks's sleep has gotten really screwed up at night. He wakes up all the time now and half the time we have to resettle him. He also wants his bottle all day long, even though he hasn't had a daytime bottle since 12 months. He just keeps whining for his "ba ba" and when we tell him it "bottle is bye bye" he FREAKS out. Total tantrum. Screaming, wailing, arms flailing, legs kicking. It is hilarious, yet heartbreaking (and frustrating!).

Sorry for the less than cheery posting... Most days are wonderfully terrific and I can't get enough of my little love bug H. And, some days are just purely exhausting. But, I know you all probably feel that way too some days :)

Hope you are all well!

Cla, I just love that you look at my blog! So, thanks! Yes, Brady figured out how to climb out his crib. But I put it on the last level and it seems to have stopped him for now! Thank goodness.

Wow, 16 teeth for Charlie, huh? I didn't know that 20 was what they got. Hadn't thought about it. Good to know though. Mine have 8 each, but have parts of the 4 molars poking through, so that makes them working on 12. 8 more to go then? Ugh!

Julie, sounds like poor Hendricks has had a tough month! Tis the season, right? Sounds like he caught everything possible all within a months time. Mexico sounds fabulous. Heck, anywhere away from MN in the winter would be fabulous! ha ha. I can't believe Henricks is still being stubborn about walking. He's going to just take off running one of these days!

I'm starting a photography class tonight. Can't wait!!! Photography has really become a hobby for me.

DH turned the big 50 yrs old this weekend!! OMG!!! Tracii, your DH is coming up on 50 too, isn't he?

Take care!!!

Hi All

Hope your all well. Its crazy the things our little ones get up to huh! Maia is climbing everything in sight (up the chairs onto the dining table, up over the furniture) - yesterday - and no idea how she did this - she managed to cruise up one kitchen chair onto the dining table and then INTO her high chair right over the high chair tray - and start feeding herself. What a little show off, of course she stopped eating as soon as I saw her - little miss independence just likes to show me whos boss!

16 teeth! Holy moly! thats amazing - I guess all the teething is over for you guys!

Well hope you are all well. My FET failed :( I feel pretty low and bummed about it - but still got a few frosties left - so you never know I guess.

Have a lovely easter with the little ones and family

Just want to wish everyone a Happy Easter/Springtime 8) I have been really bad about posting - to be honest I have had a rad through and think ok tonight I will post - but then I am just too beat to do anything! Do forgive me. :D

We have been going to pre-nursery school for a couple of weeks now- 4 days a week for 1 hour per day - hopefully working up to 5 days per week and 2-3 hours per day by September. Last Wed. Isabella went into the room and played the entire hour and did not try to find me (I hang out outside the door) - so Friday we thought I should go into another room...well she cried the entire hour. Needless to say Friday in general was a hellish day - not sure what was wrong - teething, cold, growing pains, tired (or my PMS!)...but Friday night I managed to drink an entire bottle of wine by myself...seriously longest day of my life.

Now Isabella is back to her vivacious self - god I love her...her personality is really shining through..she is still shy around other children but it doesn't bother me. We have lots of new teeth - just missing 2 pointy ones near the front. I posted a piccie on photobucket taken a couple of weeks ago. No talking - well I shouldn't say that - she does say dada, mama, bowwow (dog), gaga (juice or water), yogi (yogurt).

Anyone else just waiting for the warm weather? It snowed here today! I am so tired of jackets, hats, boots....

HI all!

Yeah - sunshine at last!!!! Wow - it makes such a difference. Not sure it's gonna last but the last 2 days have been fantastic (well, still a bit chilly but sunny so I'll settle for that!). We've been out to the parks, swings, ducks, farms, local steam train etc. and having a ball. Clocks went forward this weekend and so the last 2 days have had a lie in till 7 (cause Charlie thinks it's only 6am - his usual getting up time!) - am hoping that will last but have a horrible feeling he'll suss and it'll be back to 6am for us. I swear he's a walking alarm clock!

Mel - so sorry to hear about your bfn. Hope you are ok?

How is everyone else?! (How's nursery going Tracii???)

Must dash - am going to leave work early and go off to the swings again with Charlie. Not taking any chances on the weather breaking soon and want to make the most of it!

Hi all!

how is everyone? No posts for ages, so I thought I'd bump us back up again.

Any new news? Please post!!!!!! (sorry am just as bad as everyone else!)

Charlie great - words are coming thick and fast now (although many sound so similar it's hard to decipher someimes!) Got over the washing up incident finally (did I tell you he drank washing up liquid?!!!! Was a bit sick but generally fine EXCEPT a real watery bum for about a week. Poor so and so had to take about 4 showers a day! Oh well - no major damage and hopefully he learned his lesson!!). Been having some really nice weather lately so spent most of our time outdoors (oh and in the midst of this had SNOW! Spent the day playing in the snow in the sunshine - go figure?!). Aren't they just such a fun age! I love it!

Right - off to do some work!

I also have not posted in ages, glad to see all is doing well. Cla, glad to hear all went well. Colin is doing sooo much too. We will just be sitting there and all of a sudden he points and says what he wants. Surprises us all the time. Things we dont know he know he just all a sudden comes up with it. Toooo cute. Like you said this age is too cute. He wont let us feed him anymore he needs to do it himself. Well got to bring him to shcool so that I can get some work done.

Yeah, I realized this morning that I haven't posted in ages either! DH & I just got back from a vacation to Puerto Rico. Grandparents watched the boys. It was a great getaway for our anniversary.

I can't believe my boys are 18 months...or should I say "a year and a half". We finally have warm weather here and we are playing, playing, and playing outside. The only hard thing is that they are old enough now to throw a fit whenever something has to come to an end. When we are done playing outside they throw a fit about having to go back inside, or leave the park, etc. A sign of the terrible 2's, maybe?

No words for my boys yet. But they are still doing really good with the sign language. Also, I heard that twins tend to talk later than single babies. Maybe because they babble to each other in their own language?

Cla, no I don't think you told us about Charlie drinking the washing up liquid. Oh my!!

Madiva, good to hear from you!

Mel, really sorry to hear the FET didn't work. What a disappointment for you!

Traci, how is preschool going for Isabella now?

Julie, is the warmer weather making Hendricks happy? Is he finally done being sick for the season? My boys are both very sick right now again. Gee, when will it end?

Love to all...

Hi All - well I think we all definitely have our hands full! Isabella is doing great and loving nursery school. It took a long time for her to accept it - I went everyday with her and waited outside the room...and she would just scream and cry. About 2 weeks ago I started leaving..first for 15 minutes and then increasing the time..now she goes for 3 hours and is all smiles and giggles! It really gives me much needed time for myself and I have started jogging again. We also bought Isabella a big girl bed on the weekend. She loves it and so far (knock on wood) she has had no problem adjusting. We decided to move to a bed because she was climbing out of her crib. The new bed is a day bed with three sides and the open side we have the bed railings. I have made the bed all comfy with lots of pillows. Yesterday she took a 3 hour nap! And school also exhausts her so she has been having wonderful naps in the afternoon. We have also totally gotten rid of the bottle..she actually refused it so now she drinks out of a cup. I can't believe how big she is getting. Isabella is still FULL of life and constantly busy. KristiA - Isabella throws tantrums as well. Last week we went to the zoo and we needed to get home...well she wanted to stay and proceeded to throw herself on the ground and scream. I tried picking her up but she would pull at my face so I put her back on the ground. After a couple of minutes I picked her up again and just walked home. All these people were looking at me like I was a VERY horrible mother. I don't want to give into these tantrums - the little ones are quick learners and if you give in then they figure out - ahhh all I have to do is scream and I get what I want! Gotta run and get the little one from school. I hope we can share more experiences :D

Hi Guys

I drop in every now and again to see how you are going - things are so much busier now with the family and all!

I hope everyone's toddlers (!!) are well. Maia is a box of birds and full of lots of laughter - adore spending time with her - if only I didn't have to work!

Hopefully leaving work though in about 7 months!! Fingers crossed - our last go at FET on our current cycle worked, so god willing and all going well - we are now expecting number 2!!

Be nice to see what you guys are upto!

MEL!!! WHAT???!!! Woo-hoo!!! How exciting! You didn't tell us you were doing FET again. I'm so happy for you. A big huge congratulations to you. You must be thrilled. So, how far along are you now? I'm assuming you just recently got the BFP, so maybe you are 6 weeks or so? Do you have a scan scheduled? Tell us more!!!!

thanks for the congratulations Krista. Yes it all feels a little surreal to do be doing this again! Am just 7 weeks so it is early days, and am cautious as my progesterone levels have been quite low. I have the scan early next week - so looking forward to that milestone.

We are very lucky and blessed, I had 4 frosties left from, the first attempt I got a negative on single embryo transfered and the second attempt only 1 of the 3 remaining frosties survived the thaw - so was a bit last chance saloon.

Heres hoping all goes well!

CONGRATULATIONS Mel - wishing you all the best!!!

It is really good to pop in and read all your updates. i can't believe how much time passes. It's funny seeing how their little personalities are developing. Jess is loving nursery still. Last week at home she turned the telly on for me and then when i said i needed the remote, started looking round and offered me the games console one, it is amazing how quick they pick things up!!!! Hopefully only good things though.

Must fly as i should really be in bed, jess will be up in 2 1/2 hours.

Hi all!

Mel - very many congratulations. Hope all goes well with the scan - keep us posted!

sorry have been MIA. We've spent the last week at centre parks - decided to book at the last minute! For you non-UK girls centre parks are basically lodges built in the middle of the forest with various activities you can do, tropical swimming pool etc. etc. Had a blast! Charlie was too young for most things, but still enjoyed himself (and probably saved us a fortune in the process - is horrendously expensive if you do everything there is on offer!). Did have his first go at ten pin bowling, and beat his Nan by 3 points though!!!! he-he! will try and post some of the piccies in a couple of days once I've downloaded them!

Great to hear from everyone! Love reading everyone's stories!

Talk soon (well, sort of - you know what I mean!)

Off to enjoy the sunshine!
