MAY/JUNE CYCLE BUDDIES!!

This is it for me ladies! This is my time! I am looking for cycle buddies in May and June. This will be my 3rd fresh IVF cycle. Ist BFN and 2nd chemical. I know it is going to work this time! I need some major support through this cycle. I am really going to try to stay calm and stress-free. I start BCP April 30th. Tentative ER June 2-3 ET June 6-7. I will be taking Follistum/Menopur/Ganirelix/PIO shots. Hope there are many out there to join the thread with TONS of BFP!!!!!!!!!!! Steph

Hi,
just happened to see your post, and thought I'd join you. I've had one fresh and two FET. This is my 2nd fresh cycle, and I don't believe I'll be doing anymore after (unless I have some frozen embies left) But this is my last fresh cycle.
I am waiting for good ol' AF to arrive which will be any day so I can start my BCP so I may be a week or so ahead of you. I'm going to be on gonal-f and menopur and PIO. If I could ask, what's ganirelix? Is that another stim med?
Hopefully we'll have good luck this month!

Faithhopelove-- Welcome! Ganirelix is instead of Lupron. I was on Lupron for my first cycle and then they switched it. It is way better.....only three injections....I think I did like 25 or so Lupron shots! Well Im glad you are going to be cycling close to my schedule. This is our time. I am very excited to start this cycle, I know its going to work. I should start stimming around Memorial Day weekend...its seems to far away, but I know it will come fast! Anyway Welcome! I hope you get the answer you are looking for on this thread!

Hi Guys! I'm in!! This is our time! I was on the March/April thread b/c I thought we were doing a frozenbut then my RE suggested a fresh would be his recommendation so we had to wait a bit...Day 21 bloodwork is set for Wed the 30th ...if all goes well I'll start Lurpon on May 1st...

Just got back from Puerto Rico last night - it was very relaxing which is what we needed...BUT there were babies and pregnant women everywhere which sucked!

anyway I don't do BCP's at all...I see tons of you who do...wonder why? I just do Lupron/stim on Gonal F/then 5 antibiotic pills after retrieval/PIO

Welcome Irishhope-- I remember you from the March/April thread. You are exactly right! This is our time! I know the reason my clinic does BCP is to regulate my cycle. They cycle every woman at the same time, so they manipulate a couple days here and there so everyone is cycling together. Do you have a tentative ER/ET? Let me know so I can start making a list!

Neffi- I just wanted to wish you lots of baby dust for this cycle. I was on the Dec/Jan thread with you. On a side note, my stims were follistim, menopur, ganerelix, and then progesterone suppositories, and it worked great for me, since i am now 5 months, so I really hope it works for you!

Hi guys,

I recognise some of your names from previous threads I have been on.
I am having frostie transfer this time (I tried to start a thread but no takers and thought I would join yours)

I am doing it via a natural cycle, so lots of scans and then an ovitrelle injection at about day 16 then the delightful progesterone pessaries and egg transfer a few days after that.

Sooooo good luck to us. It has to work this time!

AF started for me yesterday so am thinking that ET may be around the 10th May??? Will find out more tomorrow.

Am going to try acupuncture this time too.

kyw-- I am also going to try acupuncture this time. I just spoke to one close to home this morning. I think I'm going to wait a little longer to start, closer to my actual treatment. I'm a little nervous, but anything to relieve the stress! Im starting a Yoga class on Monday nights also. May 10th is so close kyw! Im jealous! I can't wait to get started with this cycle!

Hey everyone! I'd like to join this thread. I'm entering my 3rd IVF cycle. The 1st and 2nd cycles were BFN. My doctor changed my protocol for this cycle, so I'm really looking forward to this one working. I started BCP two days ago. My tentative ER is 5/23 and ET 5/26.

I wish everyone happy baby vibes, and I look forward to going thru this with you all.

Neffi - I don't have dates to post yet since I'm still early in this cycle...BUT if I count it out tentative dates would be

5/24 - ER and 5/27 ET but those may move a bit once things get started...thanks for offering to start/keep a list of where we all are! those are so helpful keeping track of everyone!!

RE: acupuncture - I've been going since the Fall (back then we were still trying on our own)...I went every week during my last cycle and it helped w/ stress...
