Nikki - I'm so happy for you - this is awesome girl! When is your beta again? I am getting hopeful everday too. I am lil nervous though but I guess that's just normal.

Congratulations again!!!

Mbre - OMG you have been thru a lot but have learned and experienced IVF. Which is good for all the newbies like me who are going thru it.. I totally agree with you on over analyzing.

wow you must have had a lil fighter in you that stick and implanted :) that's just amazing definitely give hope to everyone that it's possible when it's your time..

Oct 18th is coming up soon! you ready?? is this your first one? are you done doing the baby room and what not?? Lol sorry asking too many questions but I know I would be doing all these stuff to when it happens for me :)

And yeah you do the same keep in touch and keep me posted how you feeling and how things are progressing. Everyones pregnancy is different..

As for me I wish this bloating would go away!! I'm so tried of it and what not.. but it's all worth it :)

Nicaliw,

wow! im soooo happy for you so you now have to start a thread for January Mommies to b!!!!! Keep us posted...I am thrilled to be far along but wont be fully satrisfies until i hear the first wails! lol. I go May 19 to determine the sex as I will be going on 19 weeks... You be amazed how fasr the times goes.... Its like everyday I wake up im excited to see how much ive grown and what the day will bring being pregnant...( the nausea is absolultey horrible, it is the worst of all) Best wishes......

Sameera,

Yes this is the first time ive ever been pregnant and this was my 3rd ivf. oct 18 yes is far but so very near. My family is already planing the Shower for the first week in August.... I just take everyday as it comes. And enjoy it. i dont shop or think about decorating anything until i am about 7 months. But thats back to what i was saying about looking for the worse, when 9/10 people go on to have healthy babies... But i just wiuld hate to have thinngs lyring around the house and no baby.... so i prefer to wait. Its easier than i though. i thought i would be shopping and picking up cute little things but im not. but around July i probably will since i will b 7 months.... You just better worrying about getting that little embie to stick.. how many did you transfer?
I transfered 1, thats all i had left.... I too am young like you, dh is also young no history, he is 30 with a daughter from a previous relationship... I had blocked tubes therefore i couldnt get prggo. Meanwhile a friend of mine is 25 on her 4 baby no issues she just keep popping em out like

Mbre - I can understand why you wanna wait till 7 months. You are gonna have lots of fun when you do start shopping and doing all kinds of fun stuff :) :)

We transfered 2 embryos - so hoping to have at least one implanted!! oh I have a question I have been bloated since I started stim and my bloating hasn't went down, it hasn't got worse either. But I was wondering how long did it take you to get the bloating to go away? or am I just worrying for nothing??

I dunno I feel like I'm about to explode - I forgot how my belly felt before all this bloating :(

Mbre - LOL you make me laugh :) Well, my beta is on April 28th, and I look like I'm 3 months pregnant no joke.. I would do anything at this point to get rid of some bloating so little lemon and lots of gas is absolutely fine with me.

I am in Louisville KY - we went to Cincinnati fertility clinic. :)

Hi ladies,

I've been loitering around the MB the past week and I think I've finally succumbed to it again:-) It had been really difficult after the past few BFNs, esp when many on the same thread were getting BFPs, so I stayed away.

A little history about me:
1st IVF - no ET due to OHSS
1st FET - 1 transferred, BFN
2nd FET - 3 transferred, BFN
2nd IVF - cancelled on Day 11 due to LH surge
3rd IVF - 1 transferred, 8 on ice, Beta 30/4

It's scary looking at what I've typed, have I been through that many cycles already!? Each one gets harder and harder, and hope diminishes. DH always says it's a matter of probability, that it will happen sooner or later..me, I just find this rollercoaster ride unbearable!

We transferred 1 only because I was suffering from OHSS again, and RE was afraid with 2 embryos I risked worse OHSS if pregnant. So after thinking through (in 5 mins in the ET room), we decided not to take the risk and transferred only 1. As my OHSS subsides, I can't help but feel it was a mistake not to transfer 2, as this was afterall, our first fresh cycle. I'm beginning to think it's a problem with me since implantation seems to be the main issue.

So far I've got no symptoms at all, or I try not to read into it. I'm already thinking abt the next FET.

Mbre, I'm hoping I would be as lucky as you with 1 embryo! And I know exactly what you mean about the worrying, I've told DH to expect that of me too if I ever get pregnant LOL

Sameera, you test 2 days before me so I wish you all the baby dust!

Nic, that photo of your HPT, wow, that was unbelievable, I'm hoping I would be able to post a similar photo one day..soon!

Hi Sameera, thanks and I hope it's a BFP come monday for you :-) We will probably POAS the day before since we start our vacation on the day of the Beta (talk abt coincidence!), dont want a negative phonecall from the nurse to ruin everything.

Are you going to POAS today or tomorrow? Good luck and lots of baby dust!

baobao.....wow, you have been through so much dissapointment. I'm so sorry. You truly deserve yur BFP this time. Fingers and everything else crossed for you hun. Oh, the bfp photo was one I picked on a site that has various graphics, my photos are not that good.

Sam.....tomorrow's your day! Are you temted to poas yet?? I don't know how people hold back, I pee on them all the time, its like an addiction.

Well, my first best is today! I'd better get dressed and make the trek down to the RE's office to take care of it. I'm still nervous, even with lots of bfps on hpts, I over analyze every pee stick and if one is even fractionally lighter than a previous one I convince myself this is a chemical. This whole thing is so hard, it truly messes with yout head!

They were 5 day. I took another Clearblue Easy later this morning, but got a Not Pregnant. I'm assuming it's not as sensitive as the First Response? Just worried that it is so faint on day 10. I wish it were a stronger line. It was barely visible.

Alright, so I end up taking HPT yesterday at 5pm and it came positive and I cried and cried - both the lines were dark!!! within 30 sec. I cannot believe it..

I did another test this morning at 3am and guess what that came out Positive too!!! I just am so happy and excited.

Now i just want to hear the beta numbers and get official from my RE!!!

Coco - some test are more sensitive and some aren't - did you do both at the same time? usually early in the morning is best!

Nikki - How was your beta? waiting anxiously to hear!!

Hi ladies! Can I join your thread?
I had 2 8 cell grade A embies transferred Friday morning, so I am officially on the 2WW.
I have had some bad cramping on and off since yesterday...is this normal? I am freeking cause it feels like AF is coming. This is my 1st IVF so I am a novice.
I am trying to resist the POAS temptation, but I'm only 2dp3dt so maybe in another week I won't be able to resist!
God Bless!

Hi girls can i join to,
I had just the 1 little 7 cell transfered wednesday.
It was a frozen transfer.

Long story i hyperstimulated and when it came to EC they only recovered 2 eggs it seemed the high amounts of drugs had killed everything off. Then i had to wait 2 months for FET. I did it on a natural cycle but on that you have to do HCG tests and mine were dark on all 3 days. It turned out i had ovulated. So this little enbie might have gone back a little late.

Chelly - Ive had a bit of cramping to. Tho my AF isnt due until a day after test day so i know AF isnt coming yet.
