Welcome back angram....glad you had a good time. My DH and I are also planning a trip to mexico soon, either May or June depending on the outcome of this cycle. Good idea to take a break and get all relaxed before starting again.

J&C.....thats wonderful news! How many weeks are you now??

lispetite....exactly what was your "show" like? If you had a little spotting that doesn't necessarily mean the new is bad. Im sure you've already heard this before but some implantation bleeding can take place in the 2ww. Fingers crossed for you.

OK, ladies, I may be jumping the gun a little but -being the poasaholic I am- I poas tonight. At first it looked negative but something made me hold it a little closer to my face and study it again. I thought I could see the faintest possible 2nd pink line so I took it up to my DH (who I can rely on to bring me back down to earth) and he almost right away that he saw a 2nd pink line too! I'm kind of excited but also aware that it could be a chemical or it could be the pink dye smudging or something on the test......I try again in the morning........tbc

Ok, I'm so impatient, couldn't wait another minute so I pulled out a FRER and tested again.........and its another BFP! This time no need to squint or hold the stick closer to my face....the 2nd line is definitely there....YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, I'm so excited, its 11.30pm and I'm wide awake. I know I need to be cautious but I'm determined to dwell on only the positive this time and deal with anything that may go wrong only if it goes wrong. I'm grinning from ear to ear.....the test is positive 3 days earlier than last time! Oh wow.

I am 7dpfet. Against my better judgement, I POAS this morning. It was negative. I've got to stop obsessing. It's going to drive me crazy! I've got to just wait and see what happens Monday with my beta.

Hi all!

Nicaliw: Hip hip hooray!!! That's so great!! I'm so happy for you (and your 1, or 2, or 3, or 4 babies!). Keep us posted--I can't wait to hear how many have snuggled in!! YAYYYYYYY!!!

Cocosmomma: I'm glad that the baby oil worked for you and that you're no longer sticky! As far as the negative HPT, they do say that Betas for FETs are a bit lower initially---so maybe the HPT was just unable to detect it. Sending positive vibes your way!!

Kimberley: How's the 2WW treating you? Are you feeling better? I know you've been feeling bad since ER. I hope all is well!

Lispetite: Oops. I think it was me who spread the rumor that your Beta was today. Sorry about that--my math was way off! I'll be thinking of you on Monday!

Angram: I'm glad that you had a fabulous trip to Cabo. You deserved it!! I hope AF comes soon for you--the waiting is the worst. I'll be reading up on you and rooting for you (and other March/April pals like IrishHope and Neffi!) on your new thread!

J&C: Glad to hear that your u/s went well!! YAYYY!!! I hear you about counting the days until the last PIO shot. I've had to remain on them (I was supposed to switch to suppositories after the first Beta) since I'm still a bit sore and swollen. But...if it results in a healthy child/children...then bring it.

As for me, I had to go in early for my 2nd u/s. I was supposed to have it Monday, but was seen today instead because I had some painful cramps yesterday. I was all freaked out (especially considering my friend's news), but things looked good at the u/s today. The little runt is still trying to hold on. He/she was still measuring a lot smaller than the other, but they were able to pick up a heart beat today. So...I still think it's an uncertainty if the little guy will make it (or, I suppose, the bigger one), but I'm thankful it was good news today! They think that the cramps were due to my "enlarged ovaries."The weirdest part for me was that we were officially discharged from the IVF clinic. I'm supposed to go to my OB-GYN now. WEIRD!!!

I hope you are all doing well! Hi to anyone I've missed!

Kimberly - Is your first beta on d10? I had a negative on d7, too, but my 1st beta was positive, so don't despair!

Speaking of...I posted on another string, but forgot to do this one! My first beta was yesterday (Monday) and it was positive. My level is only 21, but I am not giving up hope that we'll get a 42+ tomorrow! My nurse was sweet. She said she's seen twins come out of 7 before. Not that I necessarily want twins. One would be fantastic! Anyway, the Lord has granted me the peace and hope I have prayed for and I am so thankful. Praise Him!

Kimberly....the waiting is torture, you're right. Then, after you get your first beta you'll be worried and waiting for you second beta.....the hurdles are never ending. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you. Oh, and last time I got pregnant my home preg test didn't show positive until the day before the blood test, so there's lots of hope yet.

Speaking of 2nd betas....mine is 455, so it more than doubled..YAY!!!

Kimberley: I know it's hard to ignore the results of those nasty HPTs, but it's definitely still possible that it could be a BFP. If the Beta is less than 20 (or 25?!?) the HPTs can't pick it up. I'll be thinking of you on Friday!

Cocosmomma: YAY!! Congrats on your BFP!!! I'll be watching for that 42 or above tomorrow. FYI, my numbers didn't double (increased by 71% between the first and second test and 84% between the second and third test), and so far things look okay (I'm 8 weeks and 1 day with twins). So...I think it's still okay if the numbers don't quite double. I hope I haven't just jinxed myself--I have my first prenatal appointment with my ob-gyn on Thursday. Wish me luck!

Nicaliw: WOW--what great numbers. I'm thinking twins (at least!). How are you feeling?

Rlk, i'm feeling pretty good, thanks for asking. Of course, I feel pregnant....you know sore boobs, very tired, up to pee every 10 minutes and just a little bit of nausea so far. I'm just so happy to be pregnant I can take the sickness. I'm not sure of there's one or 2, of course we'll be happy either way. We should find out on May 14th for sure.
how are you doing? Any new news?
