First of all wanted to say GOOD LUCK LAURA!!! :D It's finally the day, and I'm also hoping that you have a very sticky lil' bean!! Let us know ASAP how it went!!

Well Karen looks like you're ahead of me a bit, hopefully not too much! It's always nice to get "the date"!! I was thinking of staying on the may/june thread, too. I know everyone a lot better here, so I'm staying on this one too :D

Barbarella it's nice to hear from you and know that you're doing good!! We're a lot stronger than we sometimes think! Hope the wrist is doing ok!

Donnell-Pink eye? Wow! HAHA that is the theory I would have shared too about scratching your butt! I guess it's possible...! LOL! Lucky we don't call ya buttface! ha ha just kidding! Seriously though I know pink eye is some yucky stuff! Let us know how your appt goes today! Oh yah I keep meaning to ask? Will you find out if it's a b/g? or are you the waiting type?

Well I'm still waiting for AF...! UGH! It's been like 7 weeks. I never go past day 38, but then again I haven't had a "natural cycle" since August. Any of you ever have the same problem?? I'm a patient person but this is driving me CRAZY!!!

Alright you all have a good day!

Donnell, all I have to say is "What's next??" Jeez, girl, do you ever have time to just relax??
Keep your fingers out of your butt. :D

Wow, glad to see everyone is back. I love this thread, too! (Plus I always have to check in on Donni's saga! lol!!)

Barbarella, good to hear from you and sorry about your wrist!! Hopefully you aren't in too much pain. Are you cycling in June too?

Karen, good to hear from you too! Glad to see you are trying again, too.

Faith, we aren't doing an FET, we are starting a fresh cycle. We have no more frosties.
AF came, and now I am on BCP, I start lupron next month. I already go in for my mock transfer sometime next week! (Did anyone else do this? I honestly don't remember from my first cycle....)
Do BCP's make you tired? I feel like napping all day long!

Laura, hope everything went well for you today!!

hello everyone else!

baby_or_bust wrote:Hi girls ~

Laura ~ How did the U/S go? Did you start your progesterone shots today? Hugs - I am thinking of you. Those are one of the things I DON'T miss.

Beth ~ So did AF show her ugly head. I know what you mean. Everytime I was starting a new cycle I would pray for AF but wish it would be the last time for her to show for 9 months.

Faith ~ How are you? Has AF showed for you yet? So where are you in your cycle?

I need dates ladies so I can keep up with you all. Now that things are starting to cook for you all, I am hoping you all keep in touch. We can start a new thread if you like.... April/May FET or something? Others might join but that would just mean more support for you guys. Or we can stay here so its easier to keep up with everyone. What ever, I just miss you all and don't want to miss your BFP's!!!

As for me, the blood work came back and for a 35 year old the results for downs is 1 in 248 or something like that and for trisomy it is 1 in 498 - after my blood work and scan my results dropped to 1 in 5111 for downs and 1 in 9000 something for trisomy. So things are looking good. I go for my cervical check next Friday.

Lots of love to you all!!!

Donnell
Hey girl! Great pics!!! So nice to see all is well with you! In my dreadfull 2ww, I swear this is the hardest part..the wait! COngrats again!

Hi all!

Beth- I had a mock transfer the first time- they just insert a cath like for the real transfer so they know the shape of your uterus and cervix and stuff and so that the real transfer will go smoothly. The RE told me that she'd draw a map of my inside so that if a different RE did my transfer he'd know what to expect- I think my cervix is off to the left a bit in fact...yep, I got really tired on the bcp this time too!

I wanted to give you all a quick update and then it's back to relaxing in bed for me. The transfer went really well. The embryo we transferred kept it's high rating after the thaw so we were happy about that. The blood test will be on 5/6 so I'm hoping the time will fly by!! Like I said, I've just been taking it easy yesterday and today. I'll check in with you all again in a couple days. Thanks for all the sticky thoughts everyone!

Take care.

Hey there ladies. I just realized, I am biting on my finger nail. I need to stop that, I don't know where my fingers have been. Hee hee!!!

Laura ~ Wonderful news on the little one. Sounds like you got a keeper in there. Sticky, sticky baby dust for you my lady.

Beth ~ BCP always made me tired and grouchy. I don't know why but I was emotional on them. I never had a mock transfer and was always wondering why I didn't when everyone else was. Your on your way now!

Faith ~ Nope, not finding out what we are having. This is DH's first and he wants it to be a surprise. So I am trying really hard not to look when I have my U/S... wink wink. Just teasing, I think a surprise would be great. Good luck on AF showing. Hope she knocks on your door soon!!!

Karen ~ How you doing love?

All the other girls out there - here's your shout out!

I had my peri appt today, cervix is 3.2 - nice and long I guess. He wants to see me back in 2 weeks. He is also doing more blood work on me??? AND..... the most wonderful thing he wants me to do is start back up on progesterone shots - 250mg - from 16-36 weeks of pregnancy. Only once a week, but JOY!!!! I wasn't very excited to hear that.

Signing out...

BUTTFACE (aka Donnell)

Okay everyone.....drumroll....!
I got AF! Woot! Woot! Yesterday after 71/2 weeks it's here! Now I can get the show on the road! I was just about going nuts waiting. I just got my call that I can start BCP today.

How's it going laura?? I'm thinking good thoughts for you!!! Keep on relaxin'!

Beth we're doing a fresh cycle too! Looks like it's you, me and Barbarella for the fresh this time around! And Karen for a FET. I never had a mock transfer. Do you only have to do those if your cervix is curved etc. ? Just curious because my RE never mentioned a mock.

Donni my bad now I have everyone calling you buttface, LOL. That was too funny. How is you eye doing though? That's good to have the "surprise" when the baby is born to find out the sex.. I don't know if I have the willpower! I don't think my DH would either!

Barbarella hope the wrist is doing ok, I remember going with my friend to reset her wrist when she literally crushed it...it was awful!

Talk to everyone later!

Hi all!

Faith- Yipppeee AF! Isn't it just hilarious how excited we can get over it?! And now bcp- yeah!

Beth- When is your mock transfer? And you start Lupron next week, right? This time, I thought how nice Lupron is compared to now doing these wonderful PIO shots!

Donnell- I did buy a two pack of FREDs today! I think I'll test on Thursday which will be 7 days after my transfer which was a 7 day blast so I think something could show up by then, right? I'm praying really hard. Glad all is going well for you. You are strong not to find out the sex- I had to find our with my ds. That's great that your appt went well and that you get to do less shots!!

Barbarella- Sorry to hear about your wrist. That must be so hard to not be able to do so many things but sounds like your dh is stepping up to help you out- that's great. Are you on the bcp now too with Beth and Faith?

Karen- How are you doing? That's great you already have a transfer date- you must be getting excited.

Thanks for all the good sticky dust thoughts everyone!

I'm surviving- only 7 more days till my beta- but who's counting?!!!!! I feel pretty much normal which I don't know if that's good or not? It's just so hard to think that my little embie is possibly implanted now or not... I'm sure thinking positive and hoping for the best- we'll see...

Laura ~ Good luck in the morning if you decide to test. I think that something COULD show up tomorrow. I will check online before I leave for work if I have time. Otherwise I will need to check in when I get off. I will be thinking of you though!!!

Donnell- I decided to hold off the FRED until tomorrow (Friday) am- I'm just so nervous so I'm waiting one more day...I still want to feel positive but for some reason I keep going back and forth about feeling positive/negative...I just feel sort of like normal and I keep thinking that is bad...I decided if the FRED is neg tomorrow then I will do one more on probably Monday am since my beta is Tuesday am...that way I'll be prepared for the worst if it's still neg and then if by some chance the beta is positive that'll be great! Can you see that I am in anguish over this?!? Last time, I never did a test because my dh wanted me not to but this time, it's too late, I bought the 2 pack of FREDs and I know I'm going to do it...Thanks for the good thoughts!
