Looking for buddies to share my experience with as we go through our pregnancy together. My due date is Jan 2nd or 3rd (depending on which tool I use). I only just found out and haven't have the official beta but LOTS of BFP's on HPT. I'm expecting most of you are just now finding out, too!

Nic- I just had my Beta yesterday from IVF 5dt on Apr. 16. 2 Blasts and my hcg was 231. I go back tomnorrow for second beta...I think I'd be due Jan. 1-5???

Goodluck Nic- I hope all goes well at your beta. I used the pregnancy calculator on here and it said due date was January 1st! I have my 2nd beta at 9:15. Have you continued HPTing? Did the line get darker or come faster? I haven't done any since the beta, although I've been tempted just to "check"! Crazy.... Any early symptoms?
Hey! My first beta was 200. I'm really happy with that number since last time my first hcg was 76. I know that doesn't mean much but it makes me feel better.
Early symptoms? lemme tell you I have zero energy. I just want to take naps all the time. And I go from not feeling hungry to feeling starved in 5 minutes. My boobs are sore and I'm very mood swingy, how about you? Any symptoms? Oh, almost forgot, I have the hemarroid from hell that brought me to tears today. Couldn't stand the pain, sitting standing walking or just laying there hurt so bad. My nurses didn't give me any magic cure just a new prenatal vitamin with a stool softener.

Yippee! 200 is great! I'm sorry to read about your m/c in Nov, but I think 200 is a good sign. When is your next beta?
I'm sorry to ask, but I know nothing about all this- it's my first IVF. How do you know you m/c at 5 weeks- did you bleed or find out at US? I worry about that happening. My second beta today was 462- exactly double the first one Friday, so I feel pretty good about that. I am tired, slightly nauseous, sore boobs, and constipated (maybe from progesterone??). I'm loving every minute of it!
Hi again, your beta is fantastic. I bet it was a relief ot hear that it had doubled. I sometimes fell like every time we get over one hurdle there's another one righ around the corner to heard for and worry about. Like today my beta was good and now I'm worried about it doubling and -for you- your beta doubled and now you're thinking about the chances of miscarriage.
My miscarriage was with my first cycle. It started with spotting brown stuff at exactly 5 weeks. Then, I soaked a pantyliner with bright red blood 2 or 3 days later. Then it just progressed to cramping and lots of bleeding that evening. I had an ultrasound in the ER which showed there was a gestational sac that had implanted and wasn't moving so they assumed it could be that I lost one and was still pregnant with one. 9 days later they did an ultrasound and my uterus was empty Its was very sad. It makes me on one hand more nervous because I worry it will happen again but on the other hand makes me feel surely it won't happen again??? Its tough, but somehow we just have to go on with things and do the best we can do.

Hi nic- so is your second beta today? I know you'll feel better once you see it double, but you're right- The next worry is right around the corner! I have 3rd beta on Friday. Here's a question- do they tell you your progesterone? Do you take progesterone supplementation? I am in the progesterone research study- now that's worrying me....what if my progesterone is too low- they don't say what it is. And because it's a study, I'm pretty sure they won't change it if it were dangerously low???
Still waiting for news on 2nd beta......should be by 5pm (MT)
yes, I'm taking progesterone and they're telling me the number but only cause I asked, they didn't volunteer it. Do you think that even if your progesterone was low they wouldn't adjust it because of the study??? Thats terrible, how can they do that, its knowingly ending a life!

They didn't say anything but we will be so happy if we are having twins! I checked out a couple of websites that suggest the number is in line with multiples but I also know that we shouldn't pay too much attention to the numbers in that respect cause it can go either way...a low starting hcg can produce twins and a high hcg can produce a singleton....I guess we shall see.....what a happy thought, though.

Hey everyone. I am new but just had to post that my TS annouced she got a BFP 19 days after the IUI. She had her first beta yesterday and our pregnancy is confirmed and they are doing a 2nd Beta on thursday. I am still a little shocked as we have been trying for several years to get pregnant!
I am thinking our due date is around January 15th 2009!!
Hi girls! I am gonna join yall since my due date is in January but I will most likely deliver in December due to my blood issues. My due date is Jan 6th, so very close to some of you! Can't wait to get to know all of you!
