Another member for the twins club!
9 weeks 3 days today :D and can't wait to get bigger and have the next scan.
Non identical and our hospital have a policy of not telling you the sex, so we are not bothered anyway.

I remember a while ago someone was talking about a special shop in Haywards Heath that just sold twin prams and buggies. I would be able to make a special trip as its not too far. Could someone supply the details again please? whats the name and rough address of the shop and do they have a website?

many thanks, helen :D

Hi Helen

It was me that mentioned the specialist shop. We used it to buy our second double buggy (be warned, it seems to be quite common to buy more than one buggy with twins!). The shop is called Tiny Tinker and it is on Sussex Road in Haywards Heath. They have two shops on the same road, a couple of doors away from each other. One is a general nursery shop and the other is a specialist twin pushchair showroom, which you usually have to go into the other shop to ask for them to open up. It's not necessarily the cheapest place for buggies and it may be worth looking at Kiddicare.com for cheaper deals if you see a pushchair that you might like. The last time I looked at their website it just gave details of their address but it might be more advanced by now.

Good luck.

Hi everyone
How are you all doing? Is everyone getting huge??? or is it just me?
I am now nearly 17 weeks and a girl at work, having one, is about 27 weeks and her bump is about half the size of mine.

Soo pleased to have it though wouldn't swap it for the world, although friends!!!!! have started to call me cube.

Does anyone get low pressing down pain or a pain in their groiny area?? because its never happened before you just don't know what is normal and I seem to examine every twinge.
Anybody felt any movement yet?

Have just started looking at things to buy, its a minefield so many things and can't decide what we will need 2 of.

Take care new twins mammys to be

Hi Lisa

Gosh I can't believe you are 17 weeks already - the time is just flying by!! I get lower abdomin pains but mine is because I have a low lying placenta blocking the bloomin exit! As you get bigger you'll feel heavier and then you kind of get used to the pains.......!!

I'm feeling pretty big now too. People keep stopping me in Marks and Spencers when I'm doing my food shopping asking when they are due (implying they must be due any second!!!)

Once I got the 20 week scan out of the way I began the nightmare of buying stuff. Its really tricky to work out what you need - Jules and Nicky are fab and have loads of really good advice (they both have twins already). We are so lucky to have people to ask, can you imagine trying to get through this on your own!!

Oh well, must be time to eat again, I've not eaten anything for nearly an hour!!

Take care
