IVF

Post by judith bagley »

I am writing a dissertation on IVF and is it really worth it and I would be grateful for any background information anyone can give me. No one has to use their name unless they want to . Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Hi Judith

Like Kat said you should post either on the General Forum or the Pregnant after IVF Forum as more people look there.

One answer to your question - Is it worth it? - Yes it most definately is. I had 3 IVF/ICSI attempts over 3 years. I had very adverse reactions to the drugs and spent a lot of time in and out of hospital. I am now 18.5 weeks pregnant and I wouldn't have changed anything - No pain no gain! Having the chance of fertility treatment has been the only way I could have a much wanted child and I feel blessed to have been given the opportunity.

If there is anything else you would like to know I would be happy to answer any more questions. My email address is on my profile. Feel free to contact me at any time.

Regards Dagny x
