Hi, has anyone else had this? My tmt was cancelled last week because of not enough follies, I now have af pains and have been bleeding slightly when I went for a wee the last two times (not much, just a bit pink when I wiped) (sorry, tmi!). Normally af would not be due for another 10 days. Previously when I have had other cycles cancelled, af has been late afterwards, not early...
Any ideas? And anyone who is thinking implantation bleeding after miracle natural conception following major amounts of sex last week, I have already thought that and told myself I am more likely to win the lottery...ha ha

Hi Sarah, nice to hear from you, thanks for the hug, I only had 2 decent sized follies this time (although both would have been good for ec) so the sensible thing was to cancel and start a fresh cycle in March/April. I'm OK about it, probably because it obviously wasn't going to be a good cycle so I thought save some money (now spent on a holiday!) and chill for a bit before starting again. I think it has buggered up my system though...(but we did really 'go for it' last week just in case the follies produced an egg etc etc. Clutching at straws I feel, though stranger things have happened....)

I can't believe this has happened, I'm so sorry!! You seem remarkably upbeat, which I guess is just you all over! I wanted to send you a huge hug too.
I guess the bleeding is probably because your body is so confused (was going to say another word and then up, but thought too rude - but you know what I mean!)
Please believe it will happen one day, I'm sure it will. You bloody deserve it!

ps hi Sarah, hope you are feeling ok after your flu - read you post on Marcus' thread and nearly started blubbing (wreteched hormones!) There is no way I would let you go through your next cycle without hounding you every day, so I would have to resort to sending you emails instead!!
I promise you this site isn't as bad once get going - took me about 6 weeks to work out what the smiley faces were all about, but I've even managed that - and if I can do it - you can too!!!

Re being upbeat - I don't know where it comes from sometimes, I've always been a real worrier but this ivf lark does funny things to a girl. I suppose I haven't given up hope yet that it will happen one day...

This happened to me too. Two days after cycle was cancelled it arrived. I have periods every 14 days and had bled during treatment too so I never actually skipped any -I was gutted, I thought I would at least have had time to recover before it arrived. Just that final insult really!!!
Anyway, hope you are feeling a bit better

Im sorry that you got cancelled , it does make you feel gutted and helpless and to top it all no answeres! I do hope someone can help you , I nearly got mine cancelled I had 2 x follis and a cyst removed due to syneral spray (downreg) a week before , and I said no you are going to let me go longer and they did by the skin of my teeth , my other option was for them to let me go for IUI as my tubes are all ok but DH has 20% motility so I put that to them cause I was so determind anyway they let me go another 2 days and I ended up with 4 eggs and 2 grade a's to go back but still a negative , I think you did the right thing , starting a fresh , will they give you higher drugs? and they do say that a short protocol can help with poor responders.

Hi thanks for the replies, still bleeding but I'm sure it will stop soon, it's not so much normal af as thin bright coloured blood and no blobby bits (sorry that is probably too much detail!) - was yours like this Jackie?
Traci - the doctor did mention about maybe having clomid next time, presumably as well as the other drugs I normally have, my last two cycles have been short protocol and have got to et so don't know what happened this time round, just wasn't meant to get anywhere I suppose.
We'll see, I have to ring them next month to see when I can start again...
