Kerry Congratulations!!!! Yay....

Gargy - Hope you are doing well!

Henrietta - Sorry about your BFN - I know they are very heartbreaking!!!

Sorry I have not been on the boards - any moment I had free between work and home had been spent on our adoption efforts (researching, putting together our profile etc)......you are not going to believe this but we adopted a beautiful baby girl we named Jenna. It literallly only took us 6 month from when we made the decision. We adopted her right here in the US and have been with her since the day she was born. She is now 5 weeks old. I always believed there was a reason for our fertility issues...now I know. We are very blessed it happened so quickly.

I am still connected to you all though as I have my daughter born of DI. She is still a dream come true too. It'll be interesting bringing both girls up with the knowlegde of their beginings. It seems adoption is a little "easier" to put into words however but we will take it one step at a time.

Still thinking of you all...

Hi Kery,

How are things? I think of you and wonder how you are going...well I hope.

Hi Donna,

Absolutely BRILLIANT news - I am SO HAPPY for you! Give Jenna a kiss for me - I hope she brings you every joy.

HI Miracle and Henrietta!

Rainbow - hope you found some cycle buddies.

Joy - congratulations on the birth of your son and your new bubba! Will be good to hear from someone that has been successful in this journey.

As for me, I've booked into the FS for early August. So very glad to be finished work for the term - not as bad as last year, but not great either.

Take care everyone!

Hey Donna,

Wow - I must have picked up on your post (although a month later LOL).

Since the last post in July 2008 I have been through the IVF process - 12 eggs, which was great, but unfortunately all were immature.

Only one made it to embie stage, but it didn't stick.

I've also taken a nominated transfer at work (ie forced move to another school) after some dramas last year. I'll be starting my new school in Feb when school goes back.

At the moment I'm quietly putting routines in place to get ready for the next IVF cycle - probably not until at least 3 months in the future - possibly more.

I'm also writing on an Australian site at the moment - I can give you more details if you PM me.

Hope everyone is going ok.

Regards

Gargy

Hi ladies. We have one DD conceived via IVF with ICSI - DH has very low counts and poor motility. Had insurance to cover it then. Now we are ready for another child. This time we have no insurance and are also considering adoption and DI. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.
