Sounds like my sleepiness is the same as yours. I nap almost every day around 2 or 3pm (unless I'm at work but I took quite a bit of time off) and all day I'm dragging. Then I'm out by 9.30pm. Always wake up to pee in the night at least once. If I rememebr right from the first time around our energy should come back in a few weeks. Good thing.

tell me about it. I work mon-fri 8-4 and have an hour drive to and from work. By the time I get home I can barely muster up enough energy to make dinner. after dinner i'm either on the computer, reading a book or watching tv and then I am out anywhere from 9-10pm. If I was to take a nap I wouldn't sleep properly at night so I force myself to stay awake until bedtime. I am looking forward to the exhaustion ending. It is all worth it though. I only took 3 days off for my FET. the day before, the day of and the day after. Since then I have been back at work full time. The first time I stayed home for 2 weeks but the waiting killed me. That is why i decided to go back to work this time. How are your clothes fitting. I actually got quite bloated from all the meds and now that I am pregnant I find that I am going to need to get new clothes soon. I work in a hospital and have my own personal scrubs but some of them are elastic waist and getting too tight. I only have a few that are drawstring. I didn't think I would be this big this quick!

Thats another tough one. I didn't stim this time so I don't have a good excuse. I had just got back into my regular jeans before doing this FET. Now I'm too fat for my regular jeans but not big enough for maternity clothes. I ended up buying just a few larger clothes. Ooo, I also heard about a thing called a bella band and ordered a similar thing I found on ebay. I think it will help by wearing it over my regular pants with the waist band open. Its worth a try, I'll let you know how it goes.

Sounds good. I think I might have to do the same thing. I have a baptism on June 8th and I can tell you right now I will not fit into my dress clothes by then. It is another 4 weeks away. I have a few other things coming up to and I haven't told everyone yet I am pregnant. I think I might just have to tell people a little sooner then expected. Have you told everyone you know that you are pregnant? I have only told a few of my close friends and family.

Hi Nic, Monkey, and all the other expecting moms! Congratulations!

Nic- I also have my first US on Tuesday...I'll be 6 weeks 4 days and haven't had any reassurance since 3rd beta on 21dpo- it was "over 2500", but did not give exact numbers. I could kick myself for not finding out. I know that at 2500, I was still doubling every 48 hours.

I too don't always have sore boobs and get worried- yesterday while walking my dogs I pressed them- just to check and then thought "what if people are looking out their windows and I'm over here pressing my boobs- I look like a weirdo! " LOL!!

Food does not bother me, although I am naseaus off and on all day. I actually feel better when I am eating and everything sounds great! My clothes are already not fitting also. From the BCP and stims I had gained 5-10 pounds- I know that was also because I didn't exercise much that month because I felt like crap on all of that and then couldn't exercise after the transfer. I ran 3 miles on Saturday and took a spin class last week, but I am afraid everytime I do because I haven't had a doctor tell me it's ok yet. My husband is really discouraging any exercise- I see my OB/GYN on Tuesday also, so I hope to get the go ahead...I already bought pants 1-2 sizes bigger than I wear normally and feel huge...it's squishy- so I know it's not baby! :)

Have a great day!

Hi beccatx...I actually gained 20lbs post retrieval and transfer and have gained another 7lbs since finding out i was pregnant! I feel huge. I am going to have to go and buy some new pants to go out in. I wish you luck on your ultrasound tomorrow and I will be looking to hear from you both afterwards with the good news. My ultrasound isn't until next wednesday. I have another week and a bit to go. I did have some more bloodwork done this morning so I am waiting for the results which I should be getting very shortly. Will keep you all posted.

Hi girls! Just thought I would let you know that I got my blood work results back and they are fantastic. 17096...I'm doing good. No more bloodwork to do for a couple of weeks. Now I just have to wait the 9 days until my ultrasound. It will probably be the longest week! I will finally be going to my OB after my ultrasound next week. Very exciting!

Hi yall-
I would like to join your group. I had my 1st IVF ET on April 25, a 3dt; I just got my 1st BFP May 9- the nurse said 900!
I go tomorrow for another beta, praying the numbers keep going up...we wanted to wait to tell people, but we told everyone, we just couldn't help it!
This is my 1st pregnancy, so its all new territory.
I am currently on 1ml PIO and estrogen patch; I was having really bad cramping previously and couldn't sleep through the night w/o having pain, but last night I slept really good and the cramping seems to have subsided a little.
No other pregnancy symptoms, I want to eat and sleep and eat all the time but that could be partly psychological  My current infatuation is Vlasic baby dill pickles...yummy!
Although, today I was trying to extract a tooth (im a dentist) and I want to vomit...guess that could be the start of m/s. Oh, and someone mentioned loss of concentration...that is totally me!
I am so excited for all of us, I have us all in my daily prayers for a healthy pregnancy!
God Bless!

Hi Michele! Congradulations! I hope your numbers continue to rise. I try and eat because I know i'm hungry and the baby needs it but food right now seems to make me feel quite sick to my stomach. I am hoping it will pass soon. The only time of day I don't get sick is later in the evening.

Sounds like alot of the women on here get their progesterone and estrogen by injection or patch. I on the other hand have to put all of my meds up the crotch. 6 pills a day. I supposedly have to continue doing this until i am 8 weeks. I know it is all worth it but it will be lovely to stop. I have had to wear a pantyliner since 2 weeks before my FET. My estrace pills perspire blue. How pretty!

Monkey- so all your meds go up your girl parts...yea...as much as I complain about the shots, I would much rather get it in the tush than down there! My ass is constantly sore, but I know I have to do it for my baby. DH is going out of town next month, so my mom will have to learn to do it. I think she's going to cry.
I wish time would fast forward to January already!

Yep you got it! All my meds are vaginal suppositories. How much fun! It doesn't bother me as much as it used too. You get used to it after awhile. The only meds that I used that were needles were my fertility drugs I took before my retrieval. How long do you have to have the shots for?

monkey- I want to say the PIO shots are until you are 10 weeks at my clinic; not so sure. I am guessing they check the levels when you go in, and once they get high enough they will take me off. This was my 1st cycle so I have no idea. My friend who conceived naturally is also taking vag supp b/c she had 2 previous miscarriages, again until 10 weeks. I haven't stepped on a scale since starting IVF, I am too scared to see the numbers! I wear scrubs too during the week, but I know I have outgrown my regular pants cause I can't wear my church clothes....trying to hold off on new clothes till I get bigger!

becca- what part of texas are you in? I am in San Antonio. Kudos for running the 3 miles...I hate exercising so I am taking advantage since the RE hasn't said its ok yet. DH is a personal trainer, and he's trained pregnant women before but none that did IVF...so I tell him its different. hehe.

nicaliw- I am exhausted too...its like I dont have any energy. Before IVF, I could sleep 10 hours a night without getting up, but now I wake up every night having to go potty...sucks. I think part of it is the PIO since I do it at 9pm.

God Bless-

i think I only have to take mine until I am 8 weeks but they aren't going to decided until after my ultrasound next week. Then I will find out. I have been holding off on buying clothes as well. I am trying to make it as long as I can but in the next month I will need some dress clothes. At least I have 5 pairs of work pants that are drawstring to go between until that doesn't work either.

Hello Ladies,

Just wanted to check in and say hello. I too am doing the suppositories, but I only have to take 2 a day. Progesterone only for me. Pretty bad M/S today, so I haven't finished catching up on all the posts. I will take a look tomorrow. Hope you are all doing well.

Tiffany...you are quite lucky. I take 3 progesterone...morning, noon and night. I also take one estrace in morning and 2 in the evening. Sorry to hear you are having such bad m/s. not sure what preg vitamins you are on by my doctor prescribed me one's called preg vit. They come in a morning and evening pill which separates the ingrediants that tend to make you sick and constipated. Maybe they might help you out.
