Adsgirl sorry for the cancelled cycle. Join the club. I know the pain you felt and will cont to feel. So cry it out that does help. Am also sitting out two cycles in a row now coz of cysts. HTe same thing happened to me then i was started on BCP to try and shrink it. Guess what i went last month hoping to start and still had a cysts and on top of that my endometrium was so big. So the doc decided to schedule a saline ultrasound. That did not work either coz my cervix would open for the baloon to go in. Anyway long story shot the guy hurt my -- you know what trying to insert the balloon and still did not make it. so i was scheduled for hysteroscopy the next day. Last thursday and since i had a miscarriage back in december am not sure i may have had some septum in me. that was removed. so now i have to wait for another cycle or two before i can try again. Just thought this would help. I have cried my self to sleep many times especially since evenryone keeps asking for babies and they dont know what the hell of a journey i have had. So its hard but again you have to be the strong one. Hope this help knowing you are not the only one facing challenges.

Well, it's day 3 of BC, I have my hysteroscopy scheduled for Thursday, and at that appointment I will meet with the nurse for my schedule? What is this schedule? She mentioned meds too, so I assume it ties together with that? My labs all came back good too. I can't believe how quickly it's started moving. I guess when I get to the 2WW, I'll be talking about how slow it's moving huh?

AdsGirl! I am so sorry....is there anything they can do to save the cycle? Maybe keep you on Lupron a bit longer? My RE suggested a few extra days of Lupron when she first spotted the cyst on my left ovary. For now, I would bag the PMA and give yourself some time to grieve. Do EXACTLY what you feel like doing...and nothing else. My thoughts are with you.

Hello ladies!! Thankfully things went well today! They got 16 eggs, and the RE's office just called and said 13 were mature and were ICSI'ed. I find out the fert report tomorrow. The RE actually high-fived me after the procedure!! I know I have to be cautiously optimistic going forward, because there are still many obstacles to cross, but this is a HUGE victory for me! There for a while I thought I may have to go to donor eggs, which is stressful in and of itself - to ask my sisters or not. I will update tomorrow when I know more.

Adsgirl - I am so sorry to hear that. I know how frustrating a cancelled cycle can be, but at least it was before you started all the stims and didn't have all those extra holes for nothing!! Hopefully there will just be a short delay and you can start soon.

Jharris - so glad things are going well - good luck with the trigger. Looking forward to being in the 2ww with you!

Turtles - I hope things continue to progress for you too.

hey everyone, got the call. My E2 was 582. Because I only have the three follies that are the right size my doctor is going to try pushing 2 more days to see if the others catch up. If they don't then he will cancel the cycle and try different protocol the next time. He said that with only three follies that the chances are not as good and best to try again later on. I know this is probably the right thing, but i just want to get it done. I am holding up pretty well for now. I will probably have a good cry to release this tension later on.

adgirl - I am so sorry it got canceled. I know that is so frustrating to be so close and have to cancel. Luckily it is before stims so you don't waste the meds. Sending you hugs and praying the cysts go away quickly for you.

Lb- great job!! Hope they all fertilize for you. Good luck.

Just a quick note, then it's dinner time. I got the call, and I get to trigger tonight! Then ER will be Wed morning, and ET Saturday morning!! I am so excited, nervous, scared, happy!! All kinds of emotions!

Do any of you have any suggestions for my trigger tonight?

Adsgirl-- I am so sorry to hear your news! My heart is breaking for you. I dont get these cysts! Where are they coming from? Did you not have that balloon test that someone was talking about? My RE does that at the beginning as standard protocol. I hope that this is just a delay!

As for me...11 days and counting until baseline. Oh and by the way....my spotting is completly gone as soon as I changed BCP

Hey everyone! Sorry I have been MIA - we were gone for about a week. Just read through everything and to be honest, I can't keep it straight, so I will congratulate and wish luck to all those triggering, retrieving, transferring and waiting. And to those who were cancelled, I am so sorry. I had the same thing happen last November. They did an IUI instead so it wouldn't be a complete waste. We got pregnant, but only a little. Maybe you could, too, if your situation is right.

Update on me, we met with our doctor last week. He wants to do a series of BW to see if there is something wrong we just don't know about. Chromosomal or blood clotting issues perhaps. I read the blood clotting BW takes 11 tubes of blood!!! Do I have that much in me?!?! LOL! Anyway, depending on how long it takes to get the results, I may just be pushed back to July for my 2nd FET. We go tomorrow for the tests, so wish me luck!

Ads- I'm so sorry about what you've had to experience. I know you know that your brother doesn't know what he's talking about but I can only imagine having to stand next to him and not react at all! Good for you for having good tuning out skills- sometimes they come in handy when one needs to not be present for a few minutes here or there. You have a great attitude about thinking forward to next cycle and I hope you know how much we appreciate having you around here. I hope you are able to cry the tears you need to and then hit the pavement again full steam ahead for your BFP next cycle!

jharris- Wow, girl. you are well on your way to your BFP!! i iced my little target on my butt before the shot. i thought it helped. it burns a bit and will be sore the next day, but really not to bad.

IndieBlue- I'm sure everyone is different, but I'm now on my 2ww and my fingers are normal size again

turtle- I really wish we lived in the same city so we could study together! I'm "supposed" to be studying for my boards and my head is everywhere but my books. I totally understand and think its probably pretty normal. Good luck!


Kristen- i totally agree, things really start rolling once your commit to IVF. I'm just starting my 2ww so we'll see if it slows down.

As for me, I'm officially PUPO!!!!! Yeah, I'm convinced its a boy. I don't really care the gender if/when I have a baby, but nonetheless I'm convinced its a boy! I LOVE being pregnant, this are gonna be a great 2 weeks and hopefully more! So here are the details-

We had 3 blasts-

3BB
and 7 morulas that they'll check on tomorrow to see if any of them make it to blasts.

We transferred just 1 (4AB) and have 2 snowbabies, hopefully more!!

I POAS before I went for the ET so I know my trigger has cleared from my system. Any positive here on out is the real deal!!!! I think I'm going to be a POAS addict! I'll try to at least wait a week, but I'm not promising anything!!

Hi everybody! This process is emotional torture. This morning at my ultrasound the RE doing the clinic today said they would cancel my cycle because I only had 3 mature follicles. At first I thought "Hey, great I'm up from 2!!" So of course I completely broke down and when I asked if there were exceptions to their minimum 4 follicle rule, he said no. After the great debate all day with my hubbie and nurse, my RE made the decicion to go forward with my humble 3. If I have to look back on this time childless, I want to know I did everything possibe. Who's to say next cycle I only get 1. ER scheduled for Wed and tonight I take Ovidrel in the belly. Good luck and prayers to all of us!

JDC - I am sorry you only have three. It is better than two but that is such a hard decision to cancel or go ahead. I am in the same position with only three mature ones. My doc is going to try to push another couple of days to see if the others catch up. If they don't then my cycle will be canceled. I am a little sad about it but doing o.k. Of course with this emotional roller coaster I have been on I will probably break down later . If we do cancel I really hope a different protocol will make the difference.
