Hi, I am the lady Shantala mentions. I have Factor V but only from 1 gene, my father we believe, it is more severe if you have inherited it from both genes.
I did one fresh IVF with ICSI, thought our problem was male factor only. I was lucky that i got 12 embryo's to freeze, my fresh cycle was a bFN. I then did 2 FET's both getting pregnant, but the numbers dropping within a week, classed as Bio-chemical. My consultant then ran a number of further tests, classed as miscarraige screening tests, and this is where they picked up the factor V. We were down to only 4 embryo's left, so we chose to thaw 2 initially, both thawed perfectly, the only change in my protocol was to add 75mg aspirin daily, which i am still taking. i think i stop around 34 weeks but my consultant will tell me when. I only transferred 2, all you are allowed in the UK, both were only 2 day, 4 cell embryo's and both took, I have had a relatively trouble free pregnancy.
I wish you all the best for the future, if you want any further info, please ask.
