monkey- you are so lucky, you can have a u/s practically any time you want! good thing we get to wear scrubs right? I have the ones that are drawstring but have elastic in the back so I am hoping I can wear these for a while before I am forced to buy bigger ones!

waiting- I am excited at the prospect of having one healthy baby, but I know there's a possibility I may be having 2 and that kinda freaks me out a little bit. My sono isn't until the 29th, so its terrible to have to wait that long...I need to go work with monkey!

becca- congrats on the 1 baby! I admire you actually wanting to excercise...the only excercise I want to do is walking from my car to my couch! :wink:

jd- my EDD is Jan 13th, so we must be really close. Our ER was 4/22 and ET was 4/25; when is your 1st u/s?

nicaliw- when the nurse called to tell me my 1st beta results, I erupted into a hysterical quivering mass of tears! And I still had to see patients with runny mascara! I am sure when I see the 1st u/s I will cry too....they are probably used to that!

I hope you girls don't mind me joining in...

This was my first IVF and we transfered 2 embryos and did a 3 day transfer. My first beta was 506!!

And today I went for my first ultrasound:

RE saw two sacs BUT one had heartbeat and the other one was small and he couldn't tell if there was anything in it or not. But he said that he thinks for now it is ONE!!! and in two weeks when I go back for my ultrasound he will confirmed for sure if it's one or two!!

I'm just extremely happy to see heartbeat so happy I cannot tell you guys!

Although, I was secretly wishing for twins I would be happy with anything...

Now, I am thinking about the second sac - IS it possible for it to grow within 2 weeks and show up with a fetal heartbeat? I dunno - I gotta do some research..

sameera-that's awesome. Very happy for you! When is your due date? Keep us posted!

chelly-i am lucky to be able to have an ultrasound anytime. I was also lucky enough to do my blood work at the hospital i work at so when I was waiting for my first beta results I had them within an hour. Which is good because it took the hospital nurse 6 hours to call me with the results. I would have died if I had to wait that long. At least there are a few perks working in a hospital.

Sweet - My RE said that I was already 7wks along and my due date should be either in December or January!! I guess he can give me more accurate on next ultrasound!!

sameera-well if this helps with your dates. as per an ivf pregnancy calculator it says my due date is dec 30th. i had my 5 day blast transfer on april 15th.

Sweet - I checked my IVF pregnancy calculator on this site and it showed my due date was Dec 31tst !!!

sameera-LOL! i googled i don't know how many pregnancy calculator's when I first found out. I got a few different dates but Dec 30th is the one I got the most. I will have a confirmation next wednesday when I go for my ultrasound.

Sameera: I was hoping for twins too. :P I am really hoping they both have heartbeats on Monday!

Mine is due Jan 3, 2009 but could change if both babies make it. I checked several different sites and RE gave me the same date too. I did 3 day transfers though if that makes any difference.

w8ing - yay - all our due dates are so close to eachother it's awesome!!!

Is this your first ultrasound? or did you already had one? did they see two sacs or what not..

well I was secretly hoping it's twins but I will be happy with anything. At first we were struggling to get pregnant now that we are I cannot be so picky but more so greatful for everything!!!!

when I calculated mine EDD it was Jan 13 2009
Isn't that crazy to think you would be pregnant for the rest of the year!
Sameera- awww, your going to have a new years eve baby! that is if the twins dont come early! :lol:
The time is passing so slow for my u/s...its still 2 weeks away! I think this is worse than the other 2ww!

Chelly - I totally agree about this 2ww being the worse wait!! I don't think the beta 2ww bothered me as much - but this u/s 2 week oh my gosh i was dying to know..

well now i do LOL but soon you will know TRIPLETS!!!

chelly/sameera-i would have to agree the wait for the ultrasound is the worst. I have had my ultrasound appointment since April 25th! My ultrasound is on the 21st of May. That is almost a whole month.

How has everyone been feeling lately? I have to say dinner tonight is the first time I have enjoyed my meal and haven't felt sick after! I was so excited!

Hi all!

Sweet- I'm so glad you enjoyed a meal. Earlier I was driving to meet my Mom for a big salad at this greek cafe...as I drove I daydreamed about Mexican food (esp. salsa, guacamole and cheese dip), some Spring Rolls and ice cream in my freezer, plus all the other food I considered eating over the next 2 days while DH is out of town. Luckily I'm really full now and I'll only have some ice cream later... I feel like a piggy, but I love it! :)

beccatx-that sounds good too. Alot of food sounds and tastes really good but my belly does not agree. Lucky enough though I have been sick to my stomach yet! I hope now that I have said that it doesn't start!

Hello girls!

Well, yesterday I was so nauseated, head was hurting so was my back - I just couldn't stay awake.

I went to bed at like 6:30 and didn't wake up till this morning 5:30AM LOL talk about sleeping nicely..

I have been so tired and sleepy lately...

Meals hmmm.. i have been eating spicy food like crazy..

Hows everyone else doing??
