Girls, what is the price on acupuncture? Needles stress me out, so I wasn't sure if it is for me, but if it will help???? When are you supposed to go? My ET is approx 5/30...am I too late to start? Ads girl, is there someone you reccomend when I am in Brookfield?

Karen, I am so sorry for your bfn. I just know you will get pg. Hopefully, you can get started again asap.

kimmysq - AP prices may vary but I pay $65/hr. The needles really are so tiny they barely hurt if at all - it is good to start as soon as possible to help get your body in the best "place" possible but any time you start can't hurt...

Rinnie/Lovebug - here's to your 2ww...it's moving along and hopefully your embies are snuggling in nice and tight!!

Karen - I am sorry about your BFN - that sucks!! I hope you heal with time and believe your day will come!! Thinking of you...

ForMaggie - great news! Glad to hear things are cruising along - don't worry about OHSS they are monitoring you closely it seems so they are on top of it!!

jharris12 - awesome report adn so happy for you that ET is tomorrow! Best of luck!!

Adsgirl - you are great! Thanks so much for checking in and keeping the list updated! I am secretly fearing a cyst as well since AF has not arrived and it's Day 37...hoping it shows this wknd but if not call the nurse on Monday and take things from there...

Good luck to all!! Keep the faith!!!

My APist charges $65 per visit. Their website says that they will work within your budget, though, because they believe everyone should have access to healthcare. I didn't try to get a lower price, but I know they are open to discussing it. Besides, $65 is less than what I have seen other places.

The needles are NO BIG DEAL. Most of the time, I don't even feel it when she puts them in. They are pretty small, and they are flexible, so if you move a little, it doesn't hurt. The first time I went, I felt good when I left...not that different, but I felt good. The second time I went - I swear I had never felt stress leave my body the way it did that day! Can't wait for my appointment tomorrow...she's going to help me with my cysts! Also, I don't think it's ever too late to start. I started right before I started lupron...

Kimmy, I go to a place called Practice Longevity...You will love Erika. Good luck!

Hi ladies - I am just sending a quick update and will catch up later. DH's TESE went ok. All in all ended up with 26 sperm. Had my ER today and they got 40 eggs!!!!! That is insane. They just called and 34 are mature enough, I am donating 12 so we will still have plenty to play with. There is no telling how viable he sperm is until they fertilize so we decided to fertilize four eggs with donor sperm, just in case. That leaves us with 18 possible contenders. We'll see what happens. They are going to call tomorrow with an update. They are worried about OHSS with that many eggs so I am downing vitamin water, v8 and ensure.

My AP is $80 for first session and $60 for follow ups. I know they like you a couple of months before you start you IVF protocol but I just started. I will get in about 5 sessions before my ET and my AP will do a session right before and right after the transfer.

As for the needles I will be honest I felt them a bit and some of them did sting a little though nothing that is worse than a pinch.

It has been 3 days since my first sessiona nd my sleep has improved 75% with I am so thankful for. I do recommend it.

Hey Corny Thanks for the good wishes!! I know time flies until it doesn't....and that would be right about now :D
I know you've really been going through it.... all the best!!!

Stephanie Welcome to the board! My beta is 5/23, so I know what you mean.

LB You and I have 3...it's lucky number!! You won't need those frosties.

Karen I'm so sorry!! Take time to heal, but please don't give up....3rd time may be a charm.

Jharris12 Good luck for tomorrow! you can join LB & I with 3. Mine weren't perfect, so I thought it best. Go with your heart!

LoveBug I felt a couple of tweaks the first 2 days, but nothing today. It's making me crazy...like whaaaaat's happening????? When are we POASing???

Dakota Is he a chinese medicine doctor or just an APist? You may want to make sure you see a doctor of TCM. Or try somebody else good & see if you like it any better. Are you feeling the Chi rush as they call it, where your body just completely relaxes, like adsgirl said. If not, you may want to try somebody else. And you should have the needles in for 45 mins for an hour session.

Maggie You're doing really well. The E2 & egg count isn't enough for OHSS. Don't worry, it's be great!

Ruby Wow...that's amazing! Yes, keep drinking, that's a remarkable number of eggs. Hopefully your hubby's fert well.

Baby dust all around everybody!

jharris- I'm so excited for you!!!!

Lovebug- I've been pee'ing everyday!!! When are you gonna? (not that I recommend it or anything- clearly I have a little addiction problem)

Rin- I just know that 3 will be your lucky number :)

Ruby- Ok, so I tried to look up "most eggs harvested" on the web page of the Guinness Book of World records and could find a match. I think we should call you in so you can establish your place in history!!!! On the serious side, lay low nothing taxing at all with all those eggs and poking you'll probably need some recovery time. Heal up and visualize your little eggs gettin' fertilized!

Ads, Irishhope and MzTia- thanks for the info on AP, I just called to get an appt for myself.

Karen- I'm so sorry. Hugs and much love.

ForMaggie- The better they monitor you the quicker they can catch any problems. They had to have me "coast" for several days because my E2 got too high, but everything worked out ok. Now just need to see if my little one wants to sign the 9 month lease or not :) Good luck, keep us posted!

Hugs, love, and a quick butt pinch for good measure for all the wonderful ladies I missed.

my accupuncture costs $55 a session--but I am in New Zealand. The needles do not hurt much--a little ping or sharpness here and there--but less then our meds needles. What I really like is that my lady is so soothing and therapuetic hereself--it's a bit like going to therapy! And she has such great ideas about mind power and positive attitude. It's good time out for reflection and respect for what all is happening in your body right now. I reccomend it.

Karen--im really sad about your negative. Hang in there. We see a baby in your future.

hey gals- I posted a confession on a different thread to get an answer from ghost about it. I broke down and got the Beta done today, it was 7 which doesn't mean anything unfortunately because it could just be the trigger. I'm going back to the lab on monday to get another one, so stay tuned.

The real deal at my RE's lab is still on May 23rd, so I'm not celebrating til then. Still I'm cautiously happy today. Wish me doubling powers!

For Maggie - Thank you for the input - you were not intruding. I gave it some thought, and I'm going to stick with RMA. I live way in Northwest Jersey, and Morristown is convenient during monitoring. I also don't think anything would have been done differenlty....

I'm starting to heal from this ordeal and I'm looking forward to my July cycle. I would really consider egg donation, but I don't think I can afford it. My insurance covers my costs now, but they do not cover egg donation. For now I will wait and see how attempt #2 goes.

Good luck to everybody and thanks for being a part of this journey with me!

Just a quick note. I just got back from my ET. We transferred 3 embies. The grading scale is 1-4, with 4 being the best. We had one 8 cell grade 3, one 8 cell grade 2 and a 9 cell grade 2+. So I guess I am now officially PUPO with some of you others. :D Time to take it easy. I will check in with you all a little later. I get to take a much needed nap!

Ruby - GATORADE! By the bucket. No kidding. I wouldn't drink anything but that. You need some serious salt to dehydrate you. Congrats! That's an unbelievable number. You must have felt like you were pregnant with all those eggs!!

SD You crack me up! You're going to make yourself crazy :)
I hope you're BFP!

Here's the schedule I was told. ET...then they float around for 2 or 3 days developing to blasts which would be Thurs or Fri. Then they take 2 days to crack open ( the zona), so that would be Fri or Sat. Then they implant Sat or Sunday, even up to Tues. But it takes a couple of days for them to snuggle in & start emmitting HCG. So I think the absolute earliest to see anything would probably be Monday.
I POAS'ed yesterday just to see if the HCG was gone, so i could start from a neg, but it was still positive so my HCG is still in there. There's no way they could develop, hatch & attach in 3 days, but i want that trigger gone!
I think if you do get BFP the trigger may overlap, so you never get a negative. So I'm just going to wait until Turtle's b-day on Wed & do it again...for good luck

jharris12 Congrats! PUPO! They sound like a similar quality to mine & I put 3 in, so here's hoping.

JDC hang in there !

I'm a little more crampy today than yesterday, but I think one of the side effects of PIO is cramps, so who knows??
LoveBug How are you feeling?
