Still -hpt at 11dp3dt? Is there hope?

Post by 4fanops »

I had my fresh transfer on 5/5 and I am still testing negative. I feel tired and nausea and my breasts are tender. Is there any hope? My beta is monday 5/19. please let me know.

There is still hope.

This is about the time the + should start to show up, so I must admit a negative now is a bit discouraging. But keep in mind the HPT's are not that sensitive and reliable. The blood test you will have on Monday is much more sensitive.

Good luck.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

Hi 4fanops,

I am on the same schedule as you. I had a fresh transfer of 5 embryos on 5/5. My first beta is also on 5/19. I have been pretty calm about it up until yesterday or today. The closer I get to the beta test, the more worried I get! I am just trying to keep myself rested and calm.

I took an HPT this morning and got a faint second line. It didn't seem to show up immediately with the control line, but it did appear within the time frame the test allows. So I am hoping it is positive, but who knows!

I plan on testing tomorrow morning and Sunday morning. I hope the line continues to get darker. It was comforting to see that Ghost said this is the time a positive should start appearing. It seems I always seem to read the posts where someone gets a very early positive on an HPT!

I started spotting on Tuesday and I hoped it was implantation bleeding. Then it seemed to go away and now it is back. So that has me a little concerned. Have you had any spotting during this 2ww?

Hi, When I took my hpt I got a very faint second line (very faint) I drug my kid outta bed just to confirm that I was not going nuts and there was a line. Each day the test got darker and my first beta was only 98. It could just be a late implanter and beta is low. Best of luck and a positive is a positive soooo Congrats!! I hope you have a wonderful 9 months.

I did beta day 13 because I was impatient and nurse was sweet and caved due to what a horrible cycle I had. 1st HPT was -ve day 8. I tried again morning of day 9 and got very very faint + . It also depends on what hpt you use due to the amount of hcg required to register. It took till day 12 or so before it was darker.

My2LnT: Your message made me feel better! The line has gotten slightly darker, but certainly not as dark as the control line. I know you said your 1st beta was 98. May I ask what your other beta #s were and how far along you are?

Thanks and Congratulations on a BFP!!!!!!!!

My cycle was scheduled to be
Retrieval 5-9-07
Transfer 5-12-07
Beta 5-24-07 but I did a day early because I'm so impatient.

My Betas were as follows :
98 >11p3dt
221 > 13dp3dt
504 > 15dp3dt
852 > 17dp3dt
1829 > 19dp3dt
Sono was at 20 days past transfer and showed one perfect beautiful lil guy who is now almost 4 months old.

Thank you and I hope you get your confirmed BFP tomorrow. Yeah I am still amazed everytime I look at him and don't think I could be any more in love. What time do you go for your beta? Are they good about calling quickly with the results?

You're message was so sweet! I totally know we will fall inlove with our child(ren) too from the second we meet him/her. I go for the beta between 7 and 9 tomorrow morning. They usually have results ready between 1 and 2pm. I POAS again (I'm insane) and got 2 more lines :) I then worked up the nerve to take a digital test an hour ago and it said positive!!! Let's just hope for a strong beta number. I'll let you know :)

My beta is in. It is only a 34. The nurse admitted that it was low and didn't sound too positive. She just said to rest and continue the meds. My progesterone level is good. I go back on Thursday for a 2nd beta. It seems this might be another chemical.
