new to this... help!

Hi everyone!
My husband and I just finished our 2nd IVF attempt with yet again a failed result. Never made it to the transfer stage as my eggs either didn't fertilize and/or never made it. We are both very sad and frustrated and trying to understand. Not sure we ever will. I'm so thankful that this site is available and I take comfort in knowing I'm not the only one out there. Not that I would want anyone to ever have to go through this as it's a horrible place to be knowing you can't have biological children. So here I am trying to figure out what to do. Our Dr said egg donation or adoption are our only choices. I am pro on both of these options, just still trying to be okay with these choices. I want to be able to experience pregnancy and childbirth so with that thought egg donation is my only hope. Just wanting to talk with someone who has gone through..... not sure where to begin and how to feel.

i am glad you found us to.
it is a hard road to go on.
the best thing i can say is to always be honest with yourself.
keep a journal of everything.
alot of women have had children threw ivf.
some have taken 6 or 7 times.

give yourself lots of hugs.

hi higgins and welcome to the board!!! you've definitely come to the right place for support!!

if you are considering egg donors i would suggest to join the "egg heads" thread on the general forum. that thread is for ladies who are using donor eggs and they are very lovely. i'm sure you'll be able to get lots of views, opinions and support on there.
