baylorbear33 - Congratulations on your BFP!!!

whynotus - I would think if AF always arrives and is on time, then exercise and being fit would not be your problem. Hang in there, I think being fit is a positive thing during all of this. Keep the PMA.

stressball - Give it a couple more days, you could have had a late implanter.

Well for me there's been so much stress around our house this past week, my DH's kitty has been missing since last Tuesday night. She is his baby and he is totally devastated! She goes outside to use the bathroom and roams around for about 30 minutes, but she never came home. We've posted flyers and have checked by foot, bike and car for the past 4 days, but nothing. We've had a couple of calls saying they believe they've sited her, but we're not positive. I'm truly hoping we find her (one way or the other), as he could not be more sad right now. Anyway, that's about all that is going on with me..other than BCP's and waiting to start Lupron.

Good luck to those 2WWers, I'm ready to hear BFP's!!

Hi Stressball, here is my history... I am 33 my DH is 31 and after 12 montns of TTC we were diagnosed with male factor infertility. (low count, low motility, low morphology) We knew we were candidates for IVF w/ ICSI from the start. The closest/best fertility clinic is in Austin, so we have been driving back and forth from Waco. Today made my 16th trip to Austin. I did remarkably well with the stimulation (produced 41 eggs, 33 mature, 20 fertilized, 11 made it to 5-day blast, transferred 2 B-grade embryos, froze 3 more) I waited until 8dp5dt before I POAS. It was positive on the first stick. I then POAS on the 9th & 10th day just to make sure. I just went in today for my bloodtest/BHCG following the 2WW, and they confirmed my pregnancy and gave me my #'s. My beta was at 131 this morning and progesterone was at 39.5. My RE's office said these were both good numbers for my first blood draw. I will have my second blood draw on Wedesday (5/21). I'm hoping for that doubling of the beta #'s at that time. That's my story, would love to hear back from each of you regarding your history.

So they gave you your progesterone numbers? I thought they weren't going to measure that since it was the study? Well, I'm glad you got a BFP on the Beta numbers too...and those are good numbers considering the study test us all a bit earlier than a normal 2ww from ET.....YAY!

I'm 33 for another month and my husband is 37. Our only factor is tubal, but the closest study location is 2 hours away so we've been making the trip to do our cycle there. Thursday will be my 4th or 5th trip....I'll have to count them up LOL We went down in March to sign consents and get some pre-lim stuff done (ultrasound, regular bloodwork, std screening, pap...etc). Then we went down for day 3 bloodwork, another trip for saline sonogram and husbands SA the same day we did the shot class...so Thursday will be our 4th trip LOL I'm sure the stim shot week is when most of the trips come in though?

I donated eggs 9 years ago and from all I remember I think I did okay on stims. They got 11 mature eggs....and this was at a local (smaller) clinic...so again I really hope my body kicks in and knows what to do this time. We will only be doing this 1 cycle, unless we end up with some frozen embabies and then if this cycle ends in a BFN we'll try with our frozens somewhere down the road. If we get a BFP from this fresh cycle, we will be donating our frozen embryo's to another couple.

So that's my story....I hope all our stories end the same :) with a BFP!!!

Stress: I just have to LOL at the visual of a cup of pee in your cup holder driving around town dipping HPT sticks in to it. I'm glad you didn't get pulled over and accused of having an 'open container' LOL

I'm so happy for you....make sure you save one for tomorrow morning to pee on!!! How exciting to see the BFP's coming in!!!! YAY!

Oh and don't let me hear you say you're discontinuing anything again (the Crinone gel)....that baby needs the progesterone until it can take over producing it....don't give up that easy!!! You have to just believe and keep going until the Beta, even when HPT say negatives it can still be a positive Beta as this study is testing us rather early...so again, keep up all the meds girl!!!! That baby probably heard that thought and started producing HCG to keep you from taking away the gel LOL

Stressball - you're killin' me... I laughed so hard at your post I had tears in my eyes. I can completely relate to the craziness. I was so scared when I POAS Saturday morning that I couldn't even look at it. I made my DH get up and look first. Congratulations on your ++ HPT.

IndieBlue - yes, they did give me my progesterone numbers and it appears from my lab slips that they will be testing HCG and Progesterone each time. I guess I didn't think anything of it at the time. I was just glad to hear that the number was higher than the minimum of 15.

I was in the elevator today with a couple as I was leaving the RE's office, and they had their 6.5 week sonogram in their hand and it showed quadruplets. I swear I nearly fell over. They had 3 embies transferred and one of them split. I am now completely stressing over the possibility of multiples. More so than before... I only had 2 embies transferred, but obviously there is a chance for splitting, etc. Have any of you had multi's or been told your having multi's?

stress - CONGRATS! That's fantastic - I really had a positive feeling about you! Now - easier said than done - don't stress! Get yourself through one day at a time. You've cleared the biggest hurdle!

OUCH.....I just did my 5th Lupron shot and that HURT! Wonder why? None of the others have hurt....so that was a surprise. Oh and now it feels like I have a bruise/knot under the skin on my stomach. I've been alternating sides and noticed that starting yesterday I had a rash appear right after the shot and it went away after about 30 minutes. I'm sure I've read about the rash...but the knots??? I guess I can move to my thighs and the back of my arms....but I really wanted to try to keep them in the stomach, what do you gals think?

Congrats Angram :) That Lupron made me feel like I was really doing something....and it seems to go by a lot faster than those BCP's LOL, so that's nice.

IndieBlue - Not sure if I was just lucky my last cycle, but I never had any issues with the Lupron injections in my belly. I ended up doing them for almost a month (really late AF) and never had to move to the arm or thigh. Well I take that back, I did have one day where it really hurt. My DH gives me the shot and he was still laying in bed, so I think the needle went in at an angle and not straight. Maybe that's what happened?

I'm sorry to hear it's giving you troubles, but maybe move to either your arm or thigh, whichever one has more skin/fat...if ya have any :)
