Hi Gila,

It must of been lovely to see your little ones on the scan, I am so glad everything went ok.

I am trying to rest up as much as possible, I just can't wait to meet my baby now.

hi gila

glad all went ok and your twins are doing well! I don't know about you but I feel like its all downhill from here and time is rapidly running away....can't believe 21 weeks this week! It only seems like five mins that we were all celebrating being pg!

I'm just glad everything is ok - scans are great, but its a huge relief to get them out of the way. My next one is 9th Feb - when is yours? Are you being seen every month like me?

It helps pass the time....

Hey gals...
Thanks for your replies...great to hear from you all! :)
Shell, hope you are hanging in there.....waiting to hear good news.
Nikola and Wibbs....are you starting to show yet? I'm starting to show a bit, but try to get away with wearing baggy normal clothes as apposed to maternity clothes at this stage.
Yea, also feel that the time is going very fast....and we're also probably moving at the end of next week...so things are a bit too hectic and stressful at the moment...never mind working a full day aswell!
And I can't even go home and rest....as there are always people wanting to come and view the apartment, movers to give assessmets etc.....
So I'll be glad when this is all over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, enough moaning......time to cheer up and think positive.
Have a great day and lots of luv
Take care of yourselves!
Love
Gila

Tracey you are soooo mean! Huge? I prefer to say 'showing'!

Gila, in answer to your question, I'm deffo showing. I bought some normal but large clothes when I first found out I was pg (size 14-16) they don't fit anymore!! I had to go out and buy some x.x.l tracksuit bottoms and size 18 jumpers! Thank goodness the sales are on.

I've found, once you get your head round having to buy something so much larger than normal (I'm normally a 10-12) its much cheaper and easier to buy 'normal' clothes. I have lots of maternity clothes that I bought for my hoilday, unfortunately they were perfect for the 90 degree heat of the Indian Ocean, but not so good for the freezing temperatures of the Yorkshire Moors!!! I begrudge spending any more money on maternity clothes that I'm only going to wear for a few more weeks!

You've done well to stay in your normal clothes this long!!

Thought of army and surplus - they do a nice range in tents and you can use them after for camping!!!

Hi Gila,
So glad your 20 week scan went ok - its such a relief to see that everything is going to plan! Like Nikola says its nerve racking going for the scan but a big relief once you see everythings ok. And Tracey I can totatly understand your veiw point on scans!
I was told I woudn't get another scan til 28 weeks (last one at 13 weeks!) but I was at the high risk antenatal clinic on Friday and they decided to do a scan there and then which was brilliant - I was even told I was normal - not something I hear very often! And even better we were told cos it was ICSI tmt we were entitled to a detailed scan - organised for tomorrow.
You've certainly done well to stay in your own clothes - I'm 22 weeks and can't remember ever fitting into normal clothes! I've been really lucky as a few of my friends have donated their maternity clothes to me!
Nikola - what a cruel girl that Tracey is to you! Although I have heard you do suit a marquee! Only Joking!!! :D

Hiya again girlies...
Hope you are all well.
Thanks for your messages.
Well, Niks, just enjoy whatever clothes you are comfortable in!!
The truth is I was never as skinny as you to begin with....I'm about a size 14-16 anyway...if I'm thinking of the correct English sizes......I was average to begin with....not too overweight but not skinny either....and I don't wear skin tight clothes either.......so I'm kinda at the end of my "normal wear" gear, which I don't think is bad for 21 weeks.
I like pinafores....but the minute you put one on, you tend to look so much bigger than you are and so much less flatering!
Anyway, the main thing is to stay happy, healthy and rested....
So look after yourselves...
Take care and have a good weekend.
Lotsa luv

how wonderful to hear from you - great news re the scans - well done you! 22 wks already - how time has flown - not that you might agree!!
I am not cruel to Nik - she knows I love her dearly - anyway how chuffed will she be to see you have jumped on the bandwagon re the marquee?
Gila - just wear what you are happy in
Love to all

Bugger off both of you, you are so mean. A girl could take such cruelty to heart you know!!!

Gila, I shall do as you suggest and enjoy being comfortable!!!

You wait Tracey Sharp, if you think your twins are going to be any different from mine, you'll end up the size of a house too! In fact, you'll be begging to wear my size 22 clothes!!!!
