Is there hope?

I had my first beta last friday and it was a 4. Now I had another one on monday and it came back 5. Does not look good at all does it.
They have me coming back tomorrow for a third beta.

Is there any hope it will go up enough or should I prep myself for a chemical?

This is my first IVF Cycle.

Hello Blondy,

I'm sorry to say that it does not look very good. I wish I could give you a ton of encouragement that everything will be ok but sometimes it's best to be realistic and prepare yourself for a chemical.

I know the pain and I know how difficult it is to go through this as I've just experienced it myself a week ago.
I feel that the best thing for me was to concentrate on my next IVF cycle and remain very positive because that puts the best chance on my side to be successful on the next go around. That doesn't mean that I don't grieve because I do but the positive energy for me has to take over.
I will start acupuncture as well, I think that will help me a lot.
