I was wandering if you could advise me in anyway. I will quickly outline my history and then ask the question:
Back in Nov 2005 we started our first ICSI and I fell pregnant. There seems to be no problem with me but DH had back then few A grade swimmers, low count in general and little mobility. They retrieved 18 eggs, 12 of which fertilized. Out of these 1 was what is considered here in Spain A/B grade, a couple of B grades and all the rest C. They transfered 2 both stuck in there but I lost 1 at approx 7/8 weeks. Out of the remaining fertilized eggs none were suitable for freezing.
In Jan 2008 we went ahead with a second cycle. DH now has no A grade swimmers. They retrieved 8 eggs, 6 fertilized. 1 was A/B grade and the rest B. 2 were transfered. None of the remainders survived for freezing. BFN.
In April we started 3rd cycle. 6 retrieved, 4 fertilized, 3 survived til day of transfer. 2 of which were grade A/B, the 3rd B. 2 tranfered. The 3rd didn´t survive for freezing. BFN
I just wanted to know whether the decreasing eggs number and the fact that none are surviving for freezing reflects poor egg quality and age, I hit 40 this Nov. Should we be thinking of donor eggs or sperm?
Thanks very much.

No way to tell for sure if it's eggs or sperm or both. If your FSH is high, say, over 15, then it just might be eggs. You might try donor sperm (cheap) first and see if there is an improvement. If not, then donor eggs (expensive, and probably not covered on insurance). Your age of 39 is slightly young to needing donor eggs, but sometimes it happens.
If you're seeing one of Pellicer's clinics, you might ask what they have to say about endometrial receptivity.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
