Angram I am hoping second time is the charm for you too! I am in the same position....the second time is different stress...you know what the BFN feels like. I hope you have the very best cycle!!!

Let me add my voice to the chorus heralding SDTrying's BFP! Congratulations! You deserve it!

Rinnie, Jharris, LB, RubyLee and LoveBug--You five are next! And Rinnie, based on my very limited experience--only 8 weeks--being pregnant, I can tell you that my most prominent symptom was a brutally sore chest. I also felt as if I was about to get AF any minute. So enjoy those sore breasts...they could be a great sign!

SueQiwi--I trigger tonight at 10:30pm so I am nipping at your heels. Glad to hear that I will have someone to commisserate (sp?) with during the tww. How are you feeling?

AdsGirl--Thanks again for the fabulous list. I really appreciate your willingness to keep track of everyone's schedule. It's not an easy job...this thread moves fast. Sending "cyst-free" wishes your way!

IrishHope--Congrats on everything being in order! Get stimming, girl!

Update on me--Even though I don't have PCOS, it seems as though I am a champion stimmer. So "good" in fact that my RE is very concerned about OHSS. My E2 is well up over 5000 and I am (in her words) "loaded with follicles." Although I trigger tonight, I have been told to give myself only a 1/2 dose of HcG. I have also been instructed to get tons of rest, drink V8, stay away from carbs, and indulge in lots of salt (what good is salt if you can't have it sprinkled over a carb?) Frankly, I am terrified they won't let me transfer. Anyone else break 5000 on the E2?

Panic rising....

LoveBug--I am sorry you are having such an awful time in the 2ww. HPTs are calibrated in a million different ways, some more sensitive than others. Also, embies develop at different rates. You're not out of the game! I am thinking and hoping for you.

LoveBug Hang in!!! Read my post yesterday about the girl who tested neg on day 7 pt ( which is today for us) and went on to be BFP! It's early....maybe your guys were having a party for a few days before deciding to snuggle in.
That's why I can't POAS yet....it would devastate me & I'd have to keep poas'ing every few hours. I can't do it. I'm dying here, but it's not quite as bad.
Keep PMA!!! it's still early. Big hug!

Maggie I was up in the high 4's & I only had 10 follies, so don't panic yet. But follow all those guidelines because from what I hear you don't want to get it. Fingers crossed for you!!

Hello Ladies,

Sorry not a big poster here really not much going yet. Looks like there will be LOTS of BFP's to celebrate this weekend. My thoughts are with those ending their 2ww this week.

I still have 1 more row of BCP's to get thru then just he wait for AF. I ordered my meds yesterday so I expect to be nice and overwhelmed tomorrow when they arrive.

I had my 2nd AP session today and I definatly felt more relaxed this time. I do highly recommend it it has made me feel less stressed and just at a more calm with myself. My AP did mention something today that I never heard before and that is that eating pears can increase chances of miscarraige and fetal defect. Has anyone else heard this before? She told me to lay off pears for awhile(I love my pears.)

Sdtrying boy am I jealous of you ability to have those beta's run. I wused to work in a lab and boy that would come in handy now. I would be having a BETA drawn daily. I am sure I will have POAS'ing issues when the time comes.

I suppose I whould be working. Have a great day ladies.

Congrats SD!

I can't wait to see all the BFP's roll in this week! I still have another week to go, but so far I've managed not to POAS. I've been having AF like cramping but no bleeding, so I'm taking that as a good sign. As anyone else experienced their face getting flushed or feel hot during the 2WW? I had that after my HCG shot last time, but I didn't have an HCG this time.

The trigger injection went fine--and today has been so nice being an injection-free day! However my ovaries are aching and I'm having headaches. I'm scared for tomorrow's egg retrieaval!

How many days did you all stim? I only stimmed for 6 days and I think that may be really short? I hope that's no bad--the Doc said everything looked good yesterday. Does anybody know if it's normal? (I keep finding new things to obsess over!)

for Maggie--I'm glad we are synced-up and can share the 2ww.

Well, girls, I am officially TRIGGERED! I must say, I was fairly trepidacious about the massive HcG shot. (I have seen smaller harpoons!) But as so many of the vets have reiterated...it really was no big deal. Small pinch, nothing more.

I go in this morning for my last b/w and u/s before ER. As I mentioned in a previous post (due to high number of follicles and high E2), I am now on a doctor-prescribed, pro-salt, pro-protein, anti-carb diet. I'll do anything to prevent OHSS and save the transfer but I'll tell you: That V8 juice is REALLY gagging. I have to pinch my nose just to get it down.

My RE isn't too specific about follicle numbers during treatment. If you ask, she will tell you "lots" or "you will have more than enough." She even has a sign in the examining room that proclaims, "Don't count your eggs until they are hatched!" That said, I kept count as she called out sizes to the nurse to transcribe. (Some of SDTrying's sneakiness is rubbing off.) From what I could hear, I think I have somewhere in the range of 18-22 measurable follicles plus a smattering of smaller ones. In terms of follicle math, with an E2 level of over 5000, that averages to around 250 of E2 per measurable follicle. Not staggering, right? (Can you hear the panic and desperation as I try rationalize and comfort myself?)

SueQiwi: Congrats on your trigger! I stimmed for 8-9 days. I wouldn't worry about your total number of days stimming...your doctor has experience and has been monitoring you....he (or she) knows what he (or she) is doing. Try to relax, we are almost done with the first MAJOR leg of this journey. 8)

Aims: Congrats on getting to the 2ww! My fingers are crossed for you!

Rinnie: Thanks for the assurance. I understand your reluctance to start POAS...once you start...it's hard to stop...Enjoy being PUPO. And I am really pulling for your BFP on Friday! :D

Anyway, I am dying for all the BFPs to roll in! Have a great day, girls!

ForMaggie: Did your doctor mention anything about Gatorade? I know a lot of the ladies on another thread are drinking it by the case...instead of V8. I'll have to drink the Gatorade if I get that close to OHSS, I can not stand V8. Maybe you could also try to find some of those protein juices, the brand is Naked and they are pretty good. You just have to read on them to make sure they are the protein ones.

Good luck :) I have my baseline tomorrow so hopefully will be starting stims tomorrow night....praying I'm a short stimmer too, I do not want to go on for more than a week LOL

Hey ladies--

Indie-- your baseline is tomorrow? Did you get AF? Mine is Friday and I started spotting this morning. I usually spot 2 days before AF so it should work out perfectly....we usually dont schedule it ahead of time, I usually just wait for AF then call, but since I'm going to the beach for Memorial Day we scheduled it. Hope yours goes well!

ForMaggie-- congrats on triggering.....glad to hear your shot was easy! Good luck with ER!

Sue-- congrats on your trigger as well. My first cycle I stimmed for 9 days then the second only 7. I got pregnant the second time!(chemical) So no worries....if your ready your ready....did they say anything about your lining?

Sorry no more time....I'll be back later tonight!

Neffi: Yes, I got AF this morning :) I stopped BCP's on Sunday...so they told me I might get one and might not before stims. I'm glad I did....makes me feel a bit more 'normal' LOL I hate to have my baseline with AF present but I'll live LOL Hope your baseline goes well too...maybe we'll both start stims before the long weekend :)

Good morning - it's beautiful here today, unlike the miserable rain yesterday, so it's definitely lightening my mood - I always like to believe the sun brings hope for me and the little ones!

Rinnie - thanks for the advice. I had b/w today again so I will check my message later to see if anything changes. I started the estrogen 2 days ago. We spent the night apart again out of an abundance of caution, but thankfully DH is feeling better today.

Sue and ForMaggie - congrats on the trigger, and best of luck with your ERs. Hope that lots of eggs are gathered (I know, we sound like the Easter Bunny!)

Love Bug - don't worry yet - still 3 more days for lots of good stuff to happen!!

aims - how are you holding up? 1 more week - can we make it?!! We are headed to the beach this weekend so I am hoping that will make the days go a bit faster! I don't know if I will POAS, I have not been tempted yet because it is still early - I think I will only do it, if at all, the night before to prepare myself for what news I might hear. I was going to ask the same thing - I have been having night sweats - I am usually always cold, but when I wake up to go to the bathroom I am damp all over, even though I am still cold - I am thinking it has to be due to one (or a combination) of the many hormones I am on!

Neffi and Indie - glad you are getting started! Neffi - Where do you go to the beach - we go to Rehoboth and are headed there this weekend.

Have a great day - and much baby dust to all!!

Love Bug hang in there! Easier said than done, I know, but there have been some great stories posted with a BFP outcome. I have my fingers crossed for you.

MzTia I hear ya!! I pick all mine up on Thurs and I am also going to be so overwelmed. I am glad to read taht your AP visit went well and you are having much better luck than I.

ForMaggie I am learning so much from you and everyone else on how to be sneaky:) Thats what is so great about these boards. I am so exited that you have so many follies. I cant wait to find out how many eggs you get and your fertility report. When is the big day?

Neffi211 I am right behind you! My bw & US is on Tues. I woke up this am with some very light spotting and cramps, but they are now gone. I am not due for AF until Friday, but I think she'll be here early from the BCP.

LB I hope your DH is feeling better!

For everyone else, I hope all is well. Just a few more days until those BETA's. We are going to have a flood of BFP. I think there is going to be alot of POAS today and tomorrow, ltos of toilet flushing:) I am so excited!!

I have one big nasty black and blue welt on my leg from AP. I made a new apt with someone else for next week. So, I am only going once to Ap this week. I had an incident this am with the Lupron. I didnt "check" the needle because I was in a hurry and I'll be darn the son of a puppy hurt like a son of a puppy. When I looked at the needle afterwards because I was shocked that it hurt so bad, the needle was bent!!! I ALWAYS check the needles, the one time I dont. Good golly, I still hurt, its going to leave a mark. I find that I am becoming whiney:( I got into a road rage incident yesterday morning and I thought I was going to cry. I was reading a not so good book yesterday and got to the end where the three sisters finally found each other and I almost cried. How stupid!!!! I cant imagine what everything else is going to do to me when I start taking it.

Ok, I've complained enough...sorry.

Its going to be a good week!!!!!

Good morning ladies.

First off HAPPY BIRTHDAY TURTLESONASTUMP!! :D

How is everybody? I still have 10 days left of my 2ww, and I think so far I'm doing okay. Luckily with having 2 short 4 day work weeks for it should help! Holiday weekends always go by quick, so I am hoping this one will, too!! Just trying to finds ways to stay busy. I'm at work, and that's not even helping at the moment! Hard to concentrate!!

dakota: I ended up with so many bruises from my injections, I look like I was in a fight. Are you taking baby aspirin, too? They say that causes us to bruise worse. And trust me, that flood of emotions you have been feeling, I think we all did! I was crying watching House the other night! And my poor DH, I bite his head off alot. Luckily I think he understands! So you know, complain away to us! We all completely understand what you are going through!!

LB: I agree about the beautiful day bringing hope to the day! I'm with you on not being tempted yet either. But I still have 10 days to go before my beta, so I know its entirely too early for that! Hope you have a great time at the beach!

IndieBlue: Glad you were able to feel "normal" if there is a such thing in this PVF rollercoaster! Good luck on starting stims!

Neffi: I hope you have a great time at the beach, too!

ForMaggie and SueQiwi: Congrats on triggering!! In no time it will be time for your ET!! SueQiwi, I can tell you we are ALL different on the days we stimmed. I stimmed for like 12 days!! I was afraid my cycle would be cancelled. All of us are different, so if your RE says you are good at 6, then think of it as that many less days you have to take shots!

aims: I have felt flushed some, and I get a little dizzy. I think that is a side effect of the progesterone.

MzTia: I know you will feel overwhelmed when the meds came. I broke down and cried when I got mine! But I promise, it will pass and you will be just fine!

LoveBug: How are you today? It is still early. Hang in there!!

Rinnie: How are you? Almost beta time!!

SD: How about you girl? Still POAS every chance you get??

To everyone else, hope you are all doing good?!
