ForMaggie - My E2 was over 7000! Scary. I am on the same diet. The nurse told me after I woke up from ET (40 eggs!) that they have just done recent studies and whey protein helps a lot too. I have been making smoothies with double the whey. Gatorade also, is has the electrolytes which you need because all your fluid is going to your abdomen so you get that awful dehydrated feeling, then it is also high in sodium. I have been cutting it with water because it is too sweet. I read one post from a girls whose doc said to drink a liter a day. V8 taste a little better with some fresh lemon and lime juice in it. The fist couple days I didn't even eat anything solid because I was drinking so many fluids. So far so good with keeping it at bay. I am 2dp3dt.

Aims - I am only two days in and have been getting hot. In fact last night I woke up drenched. Maybe it's the progesterone? I am on shots and suppositories.

LoveBug- Sorry you're having a rough time. I agree though, I have read many posts where girls don't get BFP's until way later. PMA! 5 days flat, yikes. I couldn't take it.

MzTia - Someone a couple weeks ago had a good idea to separate your drugs into different bags for different stages. That way it won't be so overwhelming every time you dive in there for your shots. Good luck!!

Jharris - Thanks for the birthday wish. I think it is also SDtrying's birthday. So Happy Birthday SDTrying!!:D:D

Not much happening on my end, just waiting for AF. I keep getting my hopes up because I am cramping. Still nothing. I even tempted it by wearing my favorite white shorts

I thought I would be over the emotional roller coaster now that I am not taking any drugs. Boy was I wrong. The weekend was horrible. I felt so low emotionally and just weird in general. I guess maybe it was all the hormones leaving my system? I am with you jharris with crying while watching House. and biting DH head off :) Man what a crazy trip this has been

Hope everyone is doing great. I am not writing much but I am checking up on you guys. Wishing lots of great beta numbers to you 2ww and hoping lots of follies grow for you stimmers. Best of luck everyone.

I just got some not so good news from my RE - apparently, even though I am now on estrogen pills, my estrogen level dropped again. The message said "it is still enough to support a pregnancy, but..." so now I need to take them 3 times a day instead of 2. I am happy to do that, but am so nervous as to what this means. Then they said they don't need to see me again until the beta test. So I just called them back saying I have questions - the most important of which is why don't you want to see me again to test this again before next Wed? If it bottoms out and I can't support a pregnancy, wouldn't that be nice to know to put me out of my misery?

Also, is this something that my body should be doing, particularly if it did work and the little ones implanted, and if so, then it definitely means it didn't work?

AHHHHH this is killing me!

RubyLee: heat some water on the stove or microwave and let the vial of oil sit in it for about 3-5 mins. It will then be easier to draw into the syringe and push into your muscle.

Hello ladies!!!

LB I am sorry about your levels. My friend took them three times a day too, and had a great pregnancy with a wonderful baby girl. Don't fret sweetie.

Rubylee Thanks for the words oc encouragement. I will know in 2 days....but I am ready for the answer. :?

JHarris12 10 days...I would tell you it goes by fast, but I would be a fat liar!!! Good luck sweetie!!

Dakota OUCHIES!!! I was in pain just thinking about your needle!! Dont worry about being whinny...what we are all going through we can be whatever we want to be!!! :D

IndieBlue Congrats on AF. It's funny how much we hate her all our lives until we NEED her, and then we welcome her with open arms!!!

I am doing well, I got another BFN on my HPT this morning 8dp3dt. I am not going to pee again until my BETA on Friday. I have been crampy all day...DH and I gout everything out of our system last night. I need to cry, and he is a wonderful cuddler when I need someone to hold me.

I am trying to think of something nice do to for him, since I have been ultra moody this cycle..you know, to tell him how much I appreciate him.

We are kind of poor right now, so anyone have ideas? I was thinking chocolate cake, which works...since we cant have sex, chocolate is the second best thing for my DH. Have you girls done anything creative that I can steal???

Hey Girls
Well, I poas'd this morning in honor of Turtle's Birthday...Happy b-day T !!!.....like i said I would. A very very light pink line. I thought I was seeing things, but DH said he saw it too, and it wasn't there when I did it on Sat to see if the HCG was out. So I'm being cautiously optimistic, but scared to put too much excitement into it. This last final 2 days is nuts....you're not sure no matter which way you test.

Love Bug Just hang in. This line was sooo faint, so you could be a day behind. Chocolate cake & a you know what :) .....every guy's dream. And made so much more special because you're making an effort despite all you're going through.

LB I don't blame you for questioning. I would go crazy too if they didn't check the levels again. Maybe 3 is the most they can give you, so they figure they'll just wait for the beta instead of speculating. I don't think it's an exact science & they don't want to tell you you can't support a baby because you really never know.

Dakota the same thing almost happened to me & I caught it in time. Ouch!! I had 4 shots a day, so i was not a happy camper by the end...but not much longer!

RubyLee I use a 25G, 1 1/2, so a tiny bit bigger, but I find that heating the spot beforehand for 5 mins, along with heating the PIO (but just warm water...you don't want it too hot) for a minute in a glass of water helps a lot according to dh.

Turtles Happy B-day again!! Maybe your day was lucky for me...fingers crossed :) Hang in there, you'll be caught up in no time.

Maggie Good job being sneaky!! You know you're paying thousands for a procedure & your RE should tell you everything you want to know even if they don't feel like it. I think sometimes they forget that.

Lot's of babydust to everyone else. I've gotta run....keeping busy so I don't try & poas again :)

P.S Not having much POAS experience, when's the best time to do it & do you have to hold it in for a certain length of time?

Thanks

Rinnie--First morning urine is best for HPTs (that's when the hormone is most concentrated). That said---cautious CONGRATULATIONS! Looks like this may be it!

LoveBug--I know it's hard, but try to keep the faith. There is a reason REs do the beta on the day they do it....they want to give all those little embies a chance to get settled and start churning out hormones. HPTs are not reliable until after 14dpo at the EARLIEST. Sending you hugs. Ooh...and the chocolate cake idea is super nice...and Rinnie's suggestion couldn't hurt either. Unfortunately, until I am cleared to eat carbs, I don't have the will power to bake. :(

RubyLee--You are an inspiration. 40 eggs! WOW! And I am encouraged that they let you move forward with ET. My RE said today that my ET is in jeopardy. I have ER tomorrow and they are going to check me on Saturday for "leaky ovaries." If I haven't sprung any leaks, they will do the egg transfer on Sunday or Tuesday. Keep up the liquids!

JHarris--My work is suffering too! I have to FORCE myself to carry out the most basic tasks...hopefully...at the end of this 2ww...you will get great news and all those spacey moments at work will have been well spent!

LB--Sorry to hear about your estrogen levels! Don't lose hope...you aren't out of the game out.

Dakota--Ouch! Sorry to hear about your needle mishap. We did my first shot in the kitchen...and I sterilized the place so well you could have performed brain surgery on the island. We also got a bit more lax and eventually ended up administering shots in parking lots and coat rooms! Glad to hear the sneaky lessons are worthwhile...though SDTrying is the real evil genius when it comes to gathering early privleged information.

IndieBlue--Yes, I have been drinking Gatorade on the sly. My RE told me that V8 contains the perfect balance of sodium and electrolytes. Gatorade, she says, is a bit off in its makeup, mostly because of the excessive sugar. However, it is FAR MORE PALATABLE. Glad to hear you are near launch with your baseline right around the corner. I, too, had to endure a baseline with AF. Not on my list of favorite things to do, but all said and done, it's not as bad as you are imagining. Close your eyes and think of Paris!

I'll let you all know how ER goes tomorrow...It is scheduled for 9:30 am EST. Fingers crossed I won't be leaky!

Rinnie - Alright. Sounds like a good beginning for you.:) Hope the line gets darker and darker for you. I have also heard that first thing in the morning is the best time. Just a few more days for your beta. Thanks again for the birthday thoughts. My DH took me out to lunch. I was telling him I was going to do a girls day out with my Mom on Friday and get our nails done or something. We got home and he gave me one of my presents which was a Escape for two gift certificate at a day spa :D He is such a sweetie sometimes.

Well, I am feeling a little better. I went swimming and did some laps today. what a beautiful day.

Hope everyone is doing great.

LOL, I'll have to remember that about Gatorade and V8....although I pray I won't need it. I actually had an ultrasound done when I went in for CD3 testing, so while it wasn't bad....it was uncomfortable and just all around icky LOL I'm OVERJOYED though....my husband just called and said he was going to drive me in the morning so now I feel like the u/s will be just fine.

The RE's office is 2 hours away and in a busy busy part of town, I HATE driving there. I've been dreading it for weeks...so nervous about getting their on time..etc. I kept telling myself I needed to be independant though, gosh before I met hubby I drove all over and didn't even blink an eye at Atlanta traffic. I've gotten so dependant on him :( which makes me feel kind of helpless. I might still 'drive' in the morning but atleast he'll be with me and can help me make the right exits...etc. I have to do this next week...so I need to do it atleast once with him in the car so I'll feel better about it next week during stim week :)

Still I'm so happy that he saw I needed that, even without asking...he knew I was nervous made a change in his schedule and that made me smile!

Rubylee - I am using an 18 gauge 1.5" needle to get the PIO in the needle then switching to a 22 gauge to inject. I had to use freedom fertility to order my meds and they sent me a website to view videos on how to use the different medicines. For the PIO, the video said to fill the syringe with air for you prescribed dosage and inject the air in the PIO vial. It makes it easier to pull out the PIO. Oh, and I'm glad I'm not the only one getting hot. I have red hair and a red face. I look like I'm going to explode. lol

LB - I'm sorry to hear things aren't going very well for you. I'm still hoping for your BFP though. My clinic doesn't do b/w after the transfer, so I'm hoping all my levels are ok now.
