Hey everyone--

LB- Im sorry to hear about your levels! I would also ask for more bw! hey we are going to be in Fenwick Island friday-monday. Do you want to get together? You dont have to....I just thought it would be cool to actually meet someone who I talked to here. I'd say we could get a drink.....but we cant, so we could have lunch or dinner or something. Let me know...if not its cool, I totally understand.

SDtrying and Turtleonastump-- HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Ruby-- I use a 22 guage 1 1/2 in....its hard to draw up!

Indie-- sorry you have such a long drive! Mine is only 40 min and I hate it

ForMaggie-- good luck tomorrow!!

Rinnie-- CONGRATS!

Lovebug-- dont worry there was a girl on the dec/jan thread who didnt get a + HPT til the morning of her beta! She is due in Sept!

As for me...AF came today! I didnt think it would come this soon, but I knowits becasue I changed my BCP...anyway baseline is on Friday morning, I called to see if they wanted me to come tomorrow but they said friday is fine. So I'm pretty sure my stimming will start friday night! YAY!!!

SD and Turtles- Happy Birthday!

Rinnie-CONGRATS a line is a line and I am sure it will get darker tomorrow am!

Rubylee- 27G is too small to inject into a muscle. That is a good size needle for a sq. I would check with your clinic but a 22G is more common for the muscle. That was what we learned in nursing school anyway! I remember using 22G last cycle as well.

Neffi211- congrats on AF. Hope you are stimming by the weekend.

4Maggie-Good luck tomorrow, will be thinking about you!

Not much new here. I too have a lupron headache. Off to bed for me!

Hope everybody else is doing well.

Hi everybody. I just had egg retrieval and am a bit worried as there were only 4 eggs. I suppose it only takes one--but I had been visualizing a dozen healthy eggs in my head as part of my positive thinking all along. Have you heard of anybody getting a BFP with only 4 eggs to start? I sure hope my four will fertilize now! We wont know until tomorrow morning.

Rinnie--it sure sounds like you might be postitive! Congrats to you and keep us posted.

For Maggie--I'm envious of all your eggs! congrats on that :) And I am thinking of you and hoping your ovaries are not leaky and they will be able to retrieve all those lovely eggs tomorrow.

LB--I am sorry about your levels and hoping for the best for you. This is such a tedious process with so many variables to worry about. Try to enjoy yourself at the beach this weekend and not worry too much. (i know that is easier said than done!)

turtles & SD happy bd!

LB Have yuo called your RE bacl and express your concerns and asked the questions on why they wouldnt keep monitoring your E2? I am sorry to hear that you are having stress with this cycle. I wish for the best outcome for you.

Rinnie I am going to burst! Have you POAS this am again? Girl, a line is a line!! This is SO exciting!!

Love Bug I hope you are hanging in there. Rinnie is right on DH's wants. My Dh is funny because is he wants to get frisky and I say I cant because of a Dr apt or AF, he's say "but you dont have a dentist apt".

turtle Good for you for having a me day!!

Indie I so understand where you are coming from with Atlanta traffic. You must be going into the perimeter area, by Northside Hosiptal? I am lucky because I work in the Chamblee area so I try to make all my apts on lunch to avoud traffic, it makes things much easier. Although, my daily commute does not consist of the interstate so when I do have to get on its rough with everyone driving 100mph around me.
GL with your US and baseline. Which center do you go to? I used to go to GA Rep., but now I go to RBA.

Neffi211 Congrats on AF, you'll be stimming soon!

Sue I hope all goes well and your 4 champs do great.

2ww Its about that time ladies!!!! All the BFP should be rolling in like crazy anyday now:) I hope ya'll are hanging in there.

Af arrived this morning, but of course my office will not up my baseline apt. I am still annoyed about that. How do they get accurate readings when I'll be on day 6? Is it because of the Lupron has everything suppressed? This morning I was inspecting my needle and DH told me "why dont you get the magnify glass out" Smart A**. I didnt want anymore mishaps, no thank you! I have an appointment to go get my toes done today. I am so excited to sit in the massage chair, read a smut novel while someone massages my legs and feet. I cant wait!! Its silly I know, but I so need it.

I hope everyone else is doing well.

Hi all,

I haven't posted in a while. I keep meaning to post, but I awlays run out of time. I have been keeping up with everyone's posts though. Anyway... my update. I've been on Lupron (my DH calls is poopron) for a week now. I get the worst headaches when I am on lupron. I just keep telling myself that it will all be worth it in the end! :) Started stims last night. If everythign goes accoriding to schedule, my ER will be on June 1 - my birthday. So, all I want for my birthday are lots of healthy eggs!

Anyway, hope everyone has a great day. I promise to post more!

Thanks for all the good thoughts, ladies, and sorry for my frantic post yesterday, I was just so frustrated because I feel like my body just won't cooperate. I spoke with my clinic, and also got some information from Ghost which was helpful. Apparently, there are definitely women who get pregnant and maintain a healthy pregnancy with lower estrogen levels than mine (my IVF coordinator even looked up and read me numbers of pregnant patients that were lower), but generally they like to see higher E2 numbers. Hopefully taking the 3 pills will help. They may re-test me, but she said at a certain point there is only so much they can do, especially because by now the embies are either going to implant or they won't. I'll see what they say today, she was going to talk to the RE, but she said he was not concerned.

So I am feeling a lot better today, especially after watching David Cook win American Idol last night - I have liked him since the beginning but I had myself convinced the other David would win - so Cook winning gave me hope, that there is always a chance!!! So I am going to try not to obsess about it too much (much easier said than done!) Whatever is supposed to happen will happen.

Rinnie - so happy for your test - will you do another?!

SD and Turtles - sorry I was distracted yesterday, but I hope you both had great birthdays! That spa gift certificate sounds great!

Dakota - I have been dying for a pedicure too, but I have tried to go a few times and the place near me that is great and well-priced is always packed, they only take walk-ins. Perhaps I will have to suck it up and make an appointment at a spa!

Sue - there is always hope with 4 eggs, so don't give up!

ForMaggie - I hope ER went well, and that you aren't leaking!

Neffi - glad you get started. I will send you a separate post about this weekend.

I am excited to see all the posts tomorrow - I hope you can all get some sleep tonight!!

Good morning ladies! How is everybody? I know we have quite a few in our 2ww, so how are you girls holding up??!! I have 9 days left until my beta. And I think I'm doing pretty good! They had me come in this morning for a day progesterone BW test. So hopefully we are doing our shots right! I wonder if they test for anything else this early?!! :D

LB: Glad to hear your RE isn't too concerned about your E2 level. You said you are taking Estrace, right? Are they having you take it orally, or vaginally?

sharona: Congrats on starting stims. Things seemed to finally speed up a little once I started mine. And I hope your birthday turns out to be your best birthday ever!

dakota: I think I've seen several women saying their RE didn't move their baseline even if AF comes. It is starting to sound like my RE's office is in the minority on stuff like that. So I wouldn't worry too much about it. I hope you enjoy your pedicure!

SueQiwi: I know it's easier to say it, but I am sure that 4 will be fine. Like you said, it only takes one! I am sure there has to be other's that have gotten BFP's w/ the same amount. Good luck!

SD: Hope you had a wonderful birthday! So how are you? Are you done POAS yet?? :D

hopinginpa: Hope your headache is going away. I had bad headahces with Lupron, too. Tylenol helped!

Neffi: Yay on you getting to start stims tomorrow, and getting a nice vacation, too! Enjoy it!

IndieBlue: OK, I'm not going to complain about my 45 minute commute to my RE's office any more!! 2 hours and in Atlanta?!! I visited Atlanta a couple years ago, and drove. My mom riding with me was scared to death! It is a speedway out there!

turtles: Hope you had a wonderful birthday! Swimming sounds great! And a spa gift cert from the DH is even better! Gotta love our guys!!

ForMaggie: Glad to know I'm not the only one with a focus problem! Best of luck with youre ER!! Let us know how it goes!

LOL, thank you ladies for the confirmation that I'm not being a baby not wanting to drive in Atlanta. I've driven through Atlanta to Florida, driven in big cities before...etc but Atlanta is just hectic. And everyone was driving atleast 80...I feel like a snail out there.

JHarris: Yes...it is nervewrecking! I kept checking the speedometer thinking, good grief am I going 10? LOL Luckily since we were going through at 6-7am it wasn't as bad as it normally is between 8-9....maybe I'll have to remember that for my next appointment.

LB: I'm glad you're feeling more secure in your levels and have received some good supportive information :)

Sharon: Congrats on starting stims....I'm waiting on the call today to see if I can start mine. That's cool about it being near your Birthday too. If my schedule keeps the same I should have my Beta on my birthday...that'll be cool :)

Dakota: Yes, I'm going to GRS. This morning it wasn't too bad since we had a very early appointment but if I go through there at 8am till about 10am it's HORRIBLE!!! Everyone drives so darn fast....and every entrance ramp has a million cars trying to get on. CRAZY!!! I'll be so glad when my visits are over....I like the pace where I live, it's a lot less stressful and things move slower. Good luck with your baseline.

Well, my AF showed up yesterday so I was a bit nervous to have a baseline today (even though I've had them before with AF present). It was really really light though....picked up again once I got home? So anyhow, she said that my cyst was at about 16mm, it's consistently measured 18mm every time I've had an U/s....and it's never effected my labs? So anyhow they said as soon as my bloodwork got back they'd call me and tell me whether I can start stims or not. I'm praying I start tonight....that way I can get hubby to drive again on Sunday or Monday when they need to see me again LOL She said that if I'd bled since being on Lupron that I'm probably suppressed....so again, maybe I'll get to start tonight :) By the way....that is a LOT of medicine to inject, anyone else on Menopur, GonalF and Lupron....seems like a LOT of liquid.

Well, off to get some things done :)

IndieBlue: I know what you mean about the amount of meds. When I was stimming, the last several days of it I was taking 600IUs GonalF, 2.5ml Lupron, and 10ml of microdose Ovidrel. And taking 600IUs of Gonal F takes multiple shots since the 900 pen only goes to like 450!! Just make sure you are changing up where you get those shots! My legs, tummy and arms all ended up bruised! Good luck! Hope you get the go ahead to start stims!

hi Girls
Well, I poased again this morning with a different brand of test & it was negative :( I had a good cry & I'm ok. It may have been a less sensitive test but i took it 2 days later. I know it's not over til it's over so I'm going to try and stay in a neutral place until the beta tomorrow.
This sure is gut wrenching!

Neffi211 – Congrats on AF arriving and good luck with the stims on Friday, not too much longer!

SueQiwi – 4 eggs is still good, it really does only take 1. My RE told me during my last ET that he had a patient that had just a few eggs and were not great quality, but he transferred them anyway and she’s having triplets :)

Dakota – You’re cracking me up with the pedi and smut books, I do the same but with trash mags :) Sorry to hear your RE won’t move up the dates, some clinics have to keep their patients on the clinics schedule, since they have to get everyone in for ER and ET on the right days. Lupron keeps everything suppressed, so you should be good to go. Good luck!

Sharona – Good luck with the stims and good luck to having ER on your birthday!

Hi rlk1- Thanks for checking in on us! :) How are you doing??
