Well, I poased again this morning with a different brand of test & it was negative :( I had a good cry & I'm ok. It may have been a less sensitive test but i took it 2 days later. I know it's not over til it's over so I'm going to try and stay in a neutral place until the beta tomorrow.
This sure is gut wrenching!

Rin
There's still lots of hope!!! I've pee'ed on about a bigillion sticks now and have learned the pee-sticks are no perfect science. All the tests from one box come out very, very light even though the prior was dark, next box was dark, etc, etc. The pee sticks are different in sensitivity brand to brand as you mentioned so just think of it as bad entertainment until the final show. Tomorrow is our BIG day ladies!!!! I'm SO excited. I'll never be able to focus through work. And no, JHARRIS, I'm not done POAS, I still have 3 left!! :)

Hi Girls--

Just a short post to give you an update. They retrieved 22 eggs. Before the procedure, my RE told me,"You definitely will be sore because your left ovary is hiding behind your uterus and I am going to have to manipulate you rather aggressively to collect all of your eggs." Well, manipulate she did; I am SUPER SORE.

Still no word whether they do the ET.

Thanks for all of your support.

Irish: Yes, it seems to be a big transplant city. But then Chattanooga is getting that way too...it is a nice place to live (even though we're in GA we're really close to Chattanooga and enjoy it here....so of course I can see why people would come here :)

Good news and bad news....I got the call saying I could start stims, sadly she told me that they were going to double the dose of Menopur and I needed 12 more vials!!!! Umm, they do realize that's over 700!!!! I have enough for 5 vials on Wednesday when I get paid but she wants me to order it by tomorrow so I can have it here by Tuesday (due to Holiday weekend). I'm torn...I'm not sure what I'm going to do :(

I've been checking the different sales boards online but they seem so risky....and I've been told to ask my RE's office for a few donations as well.....I'm sure they aren't going to give me 7 vials though. And since I can't order it till Wednesday when I get paid, I'm going to be cutting it close :(

Ugghhhh, maybe Sunday she'll do the scan and cut the dose back in half? Is that possible?

Thanks for any prayers you ladies can send up for me.

So I went to my TCM doctor today for acupuncture & he always checks my pulses. They check each wrist as they can both be different. Mine are usually very similar, but today he said one side was saying I wasn't pregnant & one side was saying I was...isn't that wierd??
He said it may be because it's very early yet, or it could be a chemical.

So I have given up Poas'ing because now I'm just confused. Tomorrow I'll know and will deal with it then.
I'm ok no matter what happens as I've come so much further this cycle and I know I will try again and not go with donor eggs or anything.

Alright Love Bug & SD good luck for tomorrow!!! May all our wishes come true!

Maggie 22 is sooooo awesome, who cares if you're sore :) Keep us updated on the fert report.

Irish Thanks for the good wishes! I know what you mean about the alcohol...I get the inquisition every time we go to dinner. I try and innocently say I'm going through a "cleanse"

Neffi Thanks girl!

Thank you to everyone for your support...what would I do without you?

Sending TONS of Baby Dust to all those getting Beta's tomorrow..i'm thinking about you all and wishing the best for you each!!! Hugs!

I read the boards each day and have enjoyed reading everyone's posts...I am still on Lupron (getting easier to handle the shots with each day) and start stimming next week, so all of your stories help me out so much as far as what to anticipate...you are all so helpful and I betcha you didn't even realize it  You ladies are the best!!! Have a great night!

Sorry, my friends, I'm exhausted (i'm hoping that's good). I've been going to bed at 9pm for last two nights which is really weird for me.

Thanks for all the well wishes (birthday and beta!) I'm SO enormously grateful for you all.

Love Bug and Rinnie I hope both of you get your BFPs tomorrow!! BTW Rinnie, I feel exactly like you do this cycle- regardless who happens tomorrow or over the next few weeks, I definitely consider this cycle a major success and will hit the ground running for my 1st FET if I need too. I feel strong and ready to deal with what comes my way thanks to all the support I've received here.

I have NO IDEA what time they'll call me tomorrow, but I won't be able to post 'til after work (which will be 5pm pacific time).

Good Friday morning ladies!!

I wanted to wish the best of luck to SD, Rinnie, and LoveBug on their betas today!!

And SD, that's just your body getting ready for the sleepless nights to come! So get the rest now, you will need it when that little one comes along!

Rinnie, we missed going to the beach with family this weekend to avoid the inquisition about drinking! I didn't even think about using a "cleanse" as an excuse!! But I also figured I could explain the bruises on my legs and tummy, or the big ol shot I have to take at night! Best of luck to you today. I'm praying for you!

SueQiwi!! That is fantastic news! I am so glad to hear they all fertilized! Keep us updated on their progress!

queenie: Glad the shots are getting easier. You start out dreading them, but in the end, they really aren't all that bad.

Indie: I'm glad you got the okay to start stims. I know what you mean about the extra meds. They started me off with 150IU dose of GonalF and I would have had plenty to last, but when they upped my dose to 600IUs, I was scrambling to get more. I had to order a little at a time, and I also ended up getting some from my RE's office, so definitely try to get some from them! You have paid them enough to help you out with it!

babygurl: Welcome to the boards! The one thing I have learned here is that we all react to the meds differently! But none should make you sick. A headache seems to be the worst side effect! Good luck!

ForMaggie: 22 eggs is awesome!! Get you some rest, and I hope the soreness goes away soon!

IrishHope: Good luck avoiding the invitations this weekend! We backed out of a trip to the beach this weekend to avoid the drinking questions! And the fact that I am not going to wear a swim suit right now with all the bruises! How are the stim meds treating you?

To everyone I missed, hope you have a fabulous Friday, and a safe Memorial Day weekend!

Hi Girls--

Blue skies, puffy white clouds, a cool leaf-rattling breeze--what a perfect day for BFPs. Rinnie, LoveBug and SD--we are pulling for you!

IndieBlue: Sorry to hear about your med problem. Definitely ask your clinic if they have any samples or donated meds. I have heard of women getting big boxes of supplies, simply by asking. Really glad you are getting started!

SueQiwi: Congrats on your 100% fertilization rate. I am waiting for my call now to see how many of mine made it. I have got all my phones lined up so no matter what line they call on, I will be ready. We are in this together, girl!

BabyGurl: Welcome to the May/June thread! You will find that the women here are fantastic and incredibly supportive. (The hardest part is keeping up with the breaking news!) Don't worry about the meds...the shots are much easier than you expect, and believe me, I am not brave. As far as side effects, I had bad headaches on Lupron, but as soon as I started stimming they went away. Then, if you are like most of us, you will start to feel bloated and full. Yoga pants and baggy summer dresses will be your friends. Good luck and welcome to the club!

IrishHope: We are dodging two parties this weekend! It's not so much the avoidance of alcohol that will set off red flags (I stopped drinking 2 1/2 years ago when we started TTC) it's more that a) I look like I have a significant heroine habit b) I can only consume V8, chicken broth and protein and c) Since ER, getting up from a chair without significant pain requires contortions and acrobatic skill. Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend!

AdsGirl: Enjoy your trip to the Garden State. The weather is majestic and will be all weekend!

Neffi: Congrats on the positive baseline! Fingers crossed you get the go-ahead!

JHarris: Sorry to hear that you are missing out on the Memorial Day festivities. Do something cozy and fun with your DH. My DH is pestering me to go see the new Indiana Jones film.

SDTrying: I am no expert only having been pregnant 8 weeks, but I remember those days as the most tiring of my life. I would nod off where ever I was. I would go to bed at 8:30. Fatigue is a GOOD THING, my friend. Wishing you the best today.

Quick update: I am waiting to hear how many of my guys/girls fertilized. Tomorrow I find out if I can go ahead with ET.

Given this glorious weather, you know what I am imagining? I am picturing all of us, next year at this time, purchasing baby sun hats, tiny bathing suits, the works. It's a nice image, isn't it? Everyone, have a terrific holiday weekend!

Best,
Elizabeth
