Hi Vicky,
Thanks for the wishes- its actually rather boring sitting around here- in the sense that for ivf i remember going to the clinic daily for injections(here in india we have to do them at the clinic, and not at home by ourselves) and then scans every 3rd day..
Now I have to wait for saturday to roll around till i can get a scan and then a date for my FET- i hope and hope that the embies thaw well, and then it'll be the mad 2ww...
Have a great holiday at Crete- should do you and the baby a world of good..
Denise,
whats the news on your beta? How're you doing? Has nausea set in yet?
Kim,
Hi to you and Jenna!

love to all,

Hi everyone

Wow, so many more updates! Its great to catch up on everyone's news.

Little P - Good to hear from you! Well done on the potty training. You've got a clever little girl there! I havent started potty training Jenna yet. I think we will start when we are back after our holiday's in June. I must admit it's not something Im looking forward to. We also put Jenna in a bed at approx 18 months, after she had climbed out of her cot twice!! You sound very busy but happy! It is fun age now, isnt it?

Smita - Im keeping everything crossed that you have success again on your FET. It does feel a bit funny having another child and wondering if you will feel the same. I worry about jealousy issues with Jenna, although more so for her own toys as he gets older!! She's very independant and has never been clingy to anyone, but I guess that might change when this one arrives.

Vicky - I was looking out for your news and saw that you had seen a hreatbeat on your scan. I so hope this is it for you. Looking good so far! Hope you have a wonderful holiday. I went to Malia in Crete when I was 20. I loved it, but did a lot of partying which I would struggle to keep up with now!

Denise - Congratulations on your BFP! Thats wonderful news! These beta numbers can vary so much cant they? But yours do sound high. Hope you get as many as you want!!!

Justine - Hope you and your family are doing ok. Im just wondering why your posts have been deleted?

This baby is a lot more active than Jenna was. Maybe Im feeling more because it's my second and the placenta is at the back this time. It was at the front with Jenna. It's very reassuring feeling the kicks and turns, but I might not appreciate it as much as he gets bigger! Ive still 18 weeks to go!
Its a very similar pregnancy to Jenna otherwise. Ive still had nausea and sickness well into the 2nd trimester!

Hi to everyone else, hope you are doing ok and enjoying your little ones.

Love Kim

Crossing everything for those embies. No scan here yet ~ not until June 4... on pins and needles though, obviously.

Threw up today for the first time, but I'm thinking its because I took the prenatal on an empty stomach.

Hey Everyone,
Denise,
so hows the nausea? is it full fledged or toned down?
Heres wishing you loads of luck for your scan.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

An update from me is, that of the 2 frozen embies we had, one survived the thaw and was implanted.
I'm on the 2ww- my 2ww is 18 days!!! test date is on the 17th june which seems so far off- and though i am very relaxed this time, the thoughts of 'i'm pregnant" and "no, i'm not" keep flashing thru my mind..
this time i think of doing an hpt on 15th if af doesnt how up by then.. but then these are just thoughts..

Hi There

Well, Congratulations Denise on your BFP and Vicky keep positive, sounds good.

Smita, keeping everything crossed for you - I so remember the 2ww and the feelings that go with it. Stay positive and keep crossing off the days.

Amelia is still doing well - we're off to our underwater swimming class this afternoon. She still loves it which is great. She now enjoys jumping in from the sides and swimming back, doing rolling over and generally splashing about.

We've just put up a big trampoline in the garden for her and she is loving that - another way to burn all that energy. Goodness knows how she keeps going. I find it exhausting just watching her.

I do hope that you are all well and loving life with the little ones. I still remember that day when you get the result and you find yourself coming to terms with the fact that you are going to be a Mummy!!

Anyway big hugs to all

Little P

Hi LP,
Great to hear from you.. its great to hear your updates on amelia..She sounds like such a bundle of energy- how do you cope?

I'm still nervous.. and i have 15 days to go!!
Feel out of touch with the general forum to be honest.... those days of posting test dates are over.. :?
I wonder how Debra, Sand and the others are?

Denise,
Good luck with your scan again.
Vicky,
are you back from holiday?

another mommy question..
anyone's child still taking milk in the night? dhruvaa still drinks about 6 ounces of milk at night and i dont know how to change that..she just cries if i give her water ? is this normal?
Also, in the night she only wants the bottle, not her sippycup, which is again a problem...

It's been awhile since I have been able to post. Looks like all good news here. Sydney is doing great. Almost three months old already. She is truly an angel. Right now it looks like she is going to have blonde hair and fairer skin than Siena. Siena adores her sister and she will even more as Sydney takes on a personality. I cannot wait to see the two play together. Right now Siena kisses and tickles her a lot.

Best of luck to you Smita! Hope to hear some good news in the upcoming weeks.

Kim - Your pregnancy is going by fast. Wait till the baby arrives. It goes even faster. I find I am much more comfortable with this baby now that I know what I'm doing (I think). Congrats on the BOY!

Little P - Sounds like you are keeping Amelia busy and active. I started potty training and seemed to slack off a little after the baby arrived. We are trying to get back on the potty again. I have a bumblebee hand stamp for every time Siena uses the potty. But as for now, I change two diapers.

Take care all and I hope to check in a little more often.

Smita, I know what you mean about the general board. I posted when I was in the 2ww, and apparantly no one else was.... doubt it. They seemed to have formed sororities, and don't support eachother outside of them.

Best of luck for that baby growing inside of you, sticky dust your way.

Scan is on Wednesday, I'll pop in after and let you know what we see. I'm feeling great, just tired and hungry. I've popped way out, but it could be because this is a second pregnancy.

Hi Denise,
Good to hear from you..Its true about the groups happening in the Gen F, I seem to remember any newbie being welcomed and cheered on in 'our days'..I guess, we had a fab time those days- remember the under30 crowd, the over 30s and then there was one on healthy eating and the Zita detox- there was one just for Little P, sooooo many threads where we could post huh?
on the other hand, i feel old now- as in like one of those ppl who say ' in my time life was blah blah blah...' :D
Are you prepared for another set of twins??Just wondering if that was a possibility..

Sher,
Its great to hear about Sydney and Siena bonding..Thats one thing i keep thinking about- that if i have this one, then will Dhruvaa feel alone, jealous, or will she bond...how abt some pix on photobucket pls?

I will post if you girls do..

Did any of you have a FET? Sher- was yours a FET? And if so, did you hpt? and when ?
I have never done an hpt since being on the ivf cycle- as i have seen so many negatives- but i want to once, this time, if this is going to be my only chance- if you know what i mean...

14 whole days to go..weather's lovely here in Bangalore- India- nice and cool- India being a hot and humid country for most part, we all appreciate the rain and cool weather- which i know would be so unlike you girls in the west, where ppl long for sunshine..

Take care all, and thanks a lot for your good wishes, mean a lot!

Hi all

Just got back from Crete yesterday. So glad we went when we did as as soon as I got home I was online checking symptims trying to work out if I am still pregnant! I have my 12 wk scan tomorrow and am absoultely dreading it - just don't want more bad news. I have actually felt more sick the last the two weeks than the rest of the first 12 so I am hoping that's a good sign. I think I might pass out before they can tell me whether it's okay anyway! I'll let you know what happens.

Smita - Great News - GOOD LUCK. I can't believe how long you have to wait...Oliver was through a FET and I did a hpt about 9 or 10 days after transfer and got very faint positive - I then did one everyday till hospital test and it got darker but I'm sure I had blood test at 12 days past transfer - so you have to wait a whole week longer!
Your question about the milk - I had terrible trouble getting Ollie to sleep at night and I was advised to stop giving him milk as this was apparently what he was waking up for so I stopped (after trying a couple of times as he screamed his head off when I started giving him water) but it did work eventually.

Lil P - Wow Well done with Amelia's swimming. I feel terrible now as we live right beside a canal so I am really keen that Ollie can swim as soon as possible but haven;t gone to classes yet - I will look it up today!

I hope everone else is well - I must dash now as late for work. Love Vicky

Hello Smita,

Sydney was a fresh cycle last June and we have two remaining frozen embryos. Now what to do??

Do not worry about Dhruvaa bonding. It happens naturally. Siena is going through many emotions as a two year old, but she absolutely loves Sydney and always tries to make her laugh. I'm very proud of her and happy to give her a baby sister. I imagine they will be very close in years to come.

On the HPT thing. I never did it. I heard some conflicting stories as to its reliability. It's hard to wait so long so I do not blame you for trying one. I was very tempted last time.

And I know what you mean about the General postings. Things seemed a little different on my last cycle in this ivf board. Didn't feel the comradery and support as I did when having Siena. Time seems to change things a bit. I definitely felt more confident and comfortable with this baby so that was a special bonus.

Best of luck to you!

Sher8
