Is it ok to do yoga during the 2 week wait? Or should I just take it easy? Also is there any chance my embies may drop out when I use the toilet?

I hope you all are enjoying your holiday weekend. We dont have Memorial Day over here---but we celebrate the Queen's Birthday next weekend!

Sue - Personally, I would refrain from any exercises during the 2ww.....just to be safe. As for the possibility of embies coming out while using the toilet, I guess anything's possible, but I don't think any of us have much choice in that situation.

Hi Ladies! I got my fert report. Out of 12 eggs, 8 were mature, 6 are currently at 2-cells. I still don't know whether we'll do a 3-day ET or 5-day ET. I guess I'll find out more tomorrow.

As for me, I'm taking it easy, so I'll be ready for work tomorrow. The holiday weekend is winding down. I hope everyone is doing well.

SDtrying - This is my 2nd time around, so guess I'm considered a vet :)

aims327 - Good luck with the beta, maybe your little ones just didn't implant early..keep holding out the faith.

Amber - Congrats on starting the stims, it all goes by so quickly now..atleast until the 2ww :)

SueQiwi - I wouldn't do yoga or any workouts during the 2ww. My RE is pretty flexible, but even their directions say no strenuous exercise during this time period, I would think that includes yoga. Good luck during the wait! :)

IMBlessed - Great news on the mature eggs! Relax and take it easy, you're about to be PUPO!!

I started Lupron shots this morning and will hopefully start stimming around 6/4. Happy Memorial Day everyone!

This thread is a vertiable hive of activity... bcps... baselines... stims... ers... ets...twws...hpts! We're a busy bunch and in nine months there should be enough bundles of joy from this thread to fill a hospital nursery.

I just returned from my ET. They put back three good embies! (I am delighted and relieved they let me transfer at all. 4 days after transfer, I am still bloated and feel like a water buffalo.) So I am officially PUPO (I concept I LOVE, by the way).

Did anyone else find ET strange? Not painful, exactly, but surreal? On the table with all the masked nurses and doctors and beeping monitors and flashing equipment, all I could think of was....THIS is how I am begetting my child????? I felt like I was a live participant on a Science Channel reality show or the victim of some bizarre alien abduction...okay, maybe that's taking it a bit too far...

My doctor told me that I should take it a bit easy today, but that I could resume normal activity tomorrow. I will not take her advice. Instead I plan to loll in bed for at least 48 hours.

Hope you girls are splashing in pools and b-b-qing up a storm!

xoxo

Hi Elizabeth. Fantastic news re the ET. My doc says no need to rest at all after ET but i am planning to stay flat on my back as much as possible! But, SusiQiwi he does say no exercise that makes you sweat or stretches / contracts your abs during the 2ww,

RE your mail...we are in South England and this holiday instead of
"splashing in pools and b-b-qing up a storm" we are splashing in puddles and sitting out the storms!!

Enjoy the rest of the long weekend!

Hi ladies - hope you are all relaxed and happy on this holiday.

Amber - congrats on starting up again! I am sure you're RE will be watching you like crazy this time and all will run smoothly.

ForMaggie - I know what you mean about the ET. As I was laying there waiting, the embryoligist comes in with the tubes in his hands like a bottle of wine and says, '3 for Wicks' and presents them to my RE. Totally surreal. I remember asking my mom how I was conceived after I figured out what the word meant when I was little, wonder if my story will be :) .

Congrats IMBlessed! That is a good number!

As for me, I am just 2ww away. I have my test early I think? ET was 5/19 and my beta is this friday the 30th? Not that I am complaining. It couldn't some soon enough.[/i]

for Magggie--congrats on your successful transfer. It was very surreal for me too. Also quite cinical and not very romantic. Alas. We will have to make up for that later!

For those of you on the 2ww--have you had any AF-like cramps? I had some today and am a bit worried.

Good morning ladies! Hope you had a fantastic Memorial Day weekend! And for those of us in our 2ww, hopefully it felt like it went by quick!! It did for me, now only 4 more days till my beta!! :D

SueQiwi: I'm in my 2ww. I have felt a little cramping, my back is hurting, my BB's are tender, and I woke up this morning with heartburn. I have all kinds of weird symptoms going on! It is so hard to tell what it what! And I read that the embies cannot fall out, no matter what we do! But I would still take it easy. My RE said no exercise.

RubyLee: Your test will be a little sooner than mine. My ET was 5/17 and my beta is 5/31. But it seems like all RE's are totally different. I'm sure they know what they are doing!

ForMaggie: Congrats on your ET!! I have decided 3 is a great number!! My ET was alittle different. The nurse took me and DH back to a little exam room, and there was the little incubator with our embies in it. She explained what we were doing, we got to look in the microscope and see them!!, I got on the table, the RE came in (1st time I've seen him since the consult!), the nurse got the embies in the transfer tube, RE did the transfer and left! That was it. It was over so quick! Take it easy the next couple days, and enjoy being PUPO!!

angram: Congrats on starting the next phase! Stimming is just around the corner!

IMBlessed: Congrats on the fert report! Sounds like you might have some frosties! Keep us posted on the ET date!!

Amber: Congrats on starting stims! It goes quick from here! Until the 2ww anyway!

kimmy: ET is on a few days!! How exciting!! Best of luck! And enjoy your vacation!

Rinnie: Can't wait to hear your beta results from today!! And yes, I was takin it easy all weekend, and enjoying being PUPO!! How long did your RE say you had to continue the PIO shots?

SD: So did you use up all your HPTs?? :D

To everyone else, hope you are all doing great!![/b]

Good morning everyone! How fitting that the long weekend was perfect - the most gorgeous I can remember in years, and then the day we come back to work it's muggy and raining! I can't complain though - we had a great weekend at the beach.

My big day is tomorrow - DH and I talked about it and decided I won't POAS. We have made it this far and don't want to give up hope - so we will just wait until tomorrow to see what is in store for us. I am sure it will be a long 24 hours, and even worse tomorrow after the test waiting for the message. But I am going to AP today to help me remain calm! I got b/w done Saturday and all they said was that my levels look good, so I am hoping they mean it!

Neffi - it was so great to meet you! Your DH is terrific and we loved the bar! Hope things are going well and that you got back safely. We left at 9:30 last night and didn't hit any traffic.

LoveBug - I am so sorry to hear your news. You definitely should go to Hawaii - it's fantastic! We went there on our honeymoon.

Aims - good luck tomorrow. I know these 2 weeks have seem way too long!

Hope everyone else is doing well - and for those who had ET, welcome to the 2ww - I wish I could say it was fun!

Wow! 4 pages to read up on... I stayed off the computer/board for the long weekend and just soaked in the nice sunshine and tried to relax and not obsess...had bloodwork/ultrasounds last few days...trigger may be tonight or tomorrow...things appear to be progressing well

LB - Good luck tomorrow with your beta!! I hope you get a BFP!!

ForMaggie - congrats on being PUPO!

angram - glad to see you're moving on forward! It goes pretty quickly...

Rinnie - how was your beta today? Can't wait to hear...

IMBlessed - good luck with transfer...sounds like things are going smoothly!

jharris12 - 4 more days is great although I'm sure it seems like an eternity! are you staying away from POAS?

SueQiwi - Congrats on ET! Hope your 2 ww flies by!

LB: I'm glad you had a great weekend at the beach to get through your 2ww!! Best of luck on your beta tomorrow!! Me and my DH also agreed to not POAS. Looks like it can cause more stress than taking it is worth! So we are just going to wait. Even though it's hard!! I hope the AP helps get you through the next 24 hours!

IrishHope: Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend as well! Just ion time before your trigger! Best of luck!! I think I will be okay for 4 more days. It will be hard, but I think I can make it! Me and my DH agreed to stay away from POAS. Instead of stressing over results from less sensitive HPT's, we will just wait for the call from the BW. That will be the longest day ever! Keep us posted on your trigger/ER!!

Hey Ladies

What a wonderful weekend! DH and I had an awesome time at the beach!

LB-- we had a great time with you guys! I hope everything goes well tomorrow.....I will be reading every chance I get! WHat time is your appt?? We left around 7 and it wasnt bad! Harpoon Hannas is fun we have to do it again sometime!

As for me.....bw and u/s today......Today is day 4 of stimms, I only saw like 6 follies, but they said it is early, but of course now Im going to worry that I wont have alot. The embryologist said if we get enough eggs they want to try to only do half with ICSI this time and see if the couple of good sperm DH has can fert on their own. She thinks since my eggs are weird and have this crater thing in them that the neele from ICSI might be a problem. So who knows! She did PROMISE me that she would get us pregnant.....I thought that was pretty good, considering the medical facts of this! ANyway.....now Im just waiting for instructions and any med changes.....I'll worry til Thursday about the amount of follicles.....but I know there is nothing I can do!

To all those in their 2ww--may you have patience!

To the stimming girls--GROW FOLLIES!!!!!!!!
